Parcul Romanesc: what do users think?

Magdalena G: Went to a Romanian festival, was so much fun! Kids loved it. Great food and dancing

Virgil Zanfir: A small corner of Romania on the territory of Canada...

Rus Lan: Great place, easy to drive to, well maintained

Rene Soto: Lots of fun dancing 💃 😀

Claudiu Ionut: To my surprise, the most beautiful memory from Canada was not visiting the metropolis of Toronto or the obligatory tour to Niagara, but the evening spent at Romanian Camp. Thousands of kilometers away, we found the parts of Romania that, being Romanians, in Romania we forgot to value. The laudable initiative of having a Romanian cornerman in Canada.

Marcel Negru: It is a very well maintained park, with magnificent views. There are wooden tables and benches, excellent for picnics. Places arranged for barbecues. There is also a restaurant, where weddings or baptisms can be organized. The staguar group "rotonda artistilor" commemorates the period in Romania, when many journalists and artists had to emigrate. The bust of Eminescu is very successful. The church is located in a place, which is said to have energetic properties!

Valens Lake Conservation Area: what do users think?

Faiza Aamir: We been going to Valens lake for 5/6 yearsAmple parking, peaceful environment and beautiful lake

Abdul Al-Basith: If you're looking to picnic, this spot is perfect.

Andrew Schmidt: Fishing was decent. As with everywhere else, some folks need to understand fishing regs and conservation area request for catch and release.

TheGaming727: We've been visiting the park for a couple years now, and this is by far one of the better camping parks we've been to.Super friendly staff, great hiking trails, and all that are the positives about Valens. Negatives are the fact there's no park patrols keeping watch over the park and maintaining law and order.Playground: The playground used to exist up by the Camp Store, but was ripped out within the last decade.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are encouraged, however there are enforced quiet hours at night which means dogs must be silent around those times.Picnic area: Plenty of picnic areas around by the beach and more on the road heading towards the campgrounds.

Roxane Percy: Enjoy our time here with our grandkids. Nice sites for camping. Unable to swim as lake was unsafe at time of our visit.

Dalia Marcela Medina Morales: Nice place to have a great time in family. Canoeing, kids swimming safely, good trails. A nice experience.

Emerald Lake: what do users think?

Jose Tusingwire: It was a great 👍 place for family. Parents and children can enjoy the lake without worrying that children will wonder away. There are guides watching out o swimmers .Just go early enough to enjoy a day in nature and thank God for His greatness 🙌.

Henry Lukassen: Amazing place and reachable from Mississauga. The water is small but lots of activities for the family. Jump off 10ft diving boards, slide down the water slide, climb one of many inflatables and lots more. Price may seem higher then most campgrounds, but your there for the fun activitys offered that not many campgrounds offers. Thanks for the fun weekend.

Jason: Kids had lots of fun! Bring your own life jackets and pack a cooler to save a few bucks. Adults and children must wear life jackets regardless of ability when in the climbing structure areas. Good price for a day out with the family.
