Lauren: I tried this restaurant without reading any reviews first and am surprised now to see so many negative comments as I logged on to write this. Maybe the quality varies by time of day or which chef or I don't know, but I can say that I really enjoyed my experience. The waitress was kind. The owner even asked us how our food was and made friendly conversation. I got matar paneer and my friend got the tandoori platter. Both of us really enjoyed our food. I also very much appreciated that the atmosphere was quiet enough for good conversation. There was music playing but it was not too loud - so rare these days. The prices are some of the best I've seen in Hamilton! Two of us ate well for $35. And there will be at least one more meal from the leftovers. I would recommend this restaurant.

Bobby K: Came upon Shenai after systematicly going through random Indian restaurants in Hamilton.Since then I've ordered here several times, always take-out.The store doesn't have the nicest decor, inside or out, therefore the reason for takeout. There is sufficient parking if needed though.The naan is fresh and delicious. I like their lamb korma and their tikka-masala between other dishes. Don't think I've tried anything here that wasn't good. Maybe not the best, but definitely above average.
jpscloud: My husband and I went here for our anniversary. It was an amazing find. The food was amazing. Be always order the dinner for 2 combination A. The only thing we don't like are the dessert options. But we're not going there for the dessert. We have gone out of our way to share this place with friends. 100% would recommend. Also, the sag paneer is my favorite.

Jim T: I went here a few weeks ago for breakfast for the 1st time. The place was nice and quiet, and upon entering we were greeted right away, and seated. The waitress was very kind, and attentive. The breakfast I got was 2 eggs and Peameal bacon, served with toast and home fries. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the Peameal bacon was delicious. The waitress came around a couple times asking how the breakfast was and offering a refill on our coffee's. Service was excellent, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was family friendly. Country Watcher: Absolutely good place to have a buffet breakfast with family and friends. Easy to find, sufficient car parking etc. Very friendly staff with good customer service. Quality of the food is subjective and standard. You can not expect 5 star rating food, but I am pretty sure we get for what we pay . Their rate is Just $16.99/ breakfast and $6.99 for kids' breakfast. They can add some quality breads or bagels that's my suggestion...
