Tiffany Yao: My 2 and 3 yr old didn't understand "structured" lessons but quickly got the hang of it. Coach Jade is great with the littles ones and very understanding that at this age they can't focus very well and she just wants them to have fun while getting accustomed to the environment. My 3 yr old was a little shy with coach Dan and his big booming voice at first but quickly warmed up to him and is really enjoying the structured lessons. Now she works hard to impress coach Dan and is excited to see him.I'm really happy with the quality of the lessons and the personable approach from the coaches.

CRYSTAL B: Signing my 3 year old for another season! Coaches and management are great. After reading some reviews, I think some people should lighten up. Not once has anyone been rude to me or my child. I think people forget that others may have stronger personalities and that may come off rude but they aren't blatantly trying to be. I enjoy the fact that some coaches are stricter than others, it teaches children them discipline and respect.The staff and coaches are there to teach your children, not coddle your feelings.Again, great place, great coaches.

Our experience during COVID has been amazing - the Head Coach/Owner and Recreation Director have always made decisions that put the health and safety of the gymnasts and their staff first - rather than the business first. The coaches have rolled with the changes and kept both in person and on-line classes/training fun.Kudos to keeping my little gymnast engaged, progressing, and safe throughout the last couple years!

My two daughters and our family have a 35 year relationship with HGA as competitive athletes who later became certified coaches to volunteers in every possible capacity. Not only did they learn fantastic gymnastic skills, my girls learned about setting goals, taking instruction and accepting correction, amazing life skills that they have taken into their chosen professions. They learned to help out their team mates, and to be proud not only of their own accomplishments but those of others. The staff and coaches at HGA have a great love of their sport and the children in their care, and always keep the children's physical and emotional safety as their highest priority. Both girls have had a number of fantastic coaches over the years who have taken the time to teach them new skills and help them develop confidence in their own abilities. I am amazed at how much they have learned and progressed over the years in both the aerials and competitive program and to say thank you, doesn't seem enough. It is through their particoption in the gym that they have both developed a tremendous love for the sport and a pride in their accomplishments.Between both of my daughters, our family is at the gym 6 days a week. Yolanda S: I brought my daughter for the open gym, I didn't know you just come and practice alone and not placed with a class. The owner was great, she put my daughter in the class and let her stay. The coach was awesome, the other girls welcomed her, even though they were more advance.Its recreational, but they work hard, I could see the progress and that's what she wants. The owner was busy but took time to talk to me, such a wonderful lady who has a real passion for the students.Its not a big place, and you may hesitate when outside but inside it's very clean, beautifully organized, the girls are sweaty and tired but all smiles. I like that the training floor is separated by glass, you can watch but not interfere.My daughter didn't want to leave, I had to sign her up to the class right away. I wish I checked this place out years ago!

We were approached about the Advanced program that runs throughout the year and decided to sign her up.It has been about 5 weeks since she's been enrolled and the progress we have seen is great. She enjoys going weekly and the duration of the class is perfect for any child seriously interested in gymnastics.

Matthew Maennling: Gym Magic has been an excellent gymnastics centre for our two athletes. It is significant that the owners are olympians, and their life work is to help girls become strong, confident and motivated about their careers as gymnasts. The coaches are dedicated and have good communication with us, and help make tough decisions, whether to reach for higher goals, or help the girls recuperate after setbacks. Our athletes are in Provincial and Pre-Provincial programs, 21 and 17 hours respectively. If you are considering a Gym in Burlington your daughter will find a good home here.

The only coach I have seen who proudly wears a flower in his hair during the ENTIRE lesson; kid picked a wild flower for him from a nearby field. So much heart in this place.My girls LOVE it!
