Michael Yemen: Awesome diveshop on the Mountain in Hamilton. The owner Mitch is a fantastic guy who really knows his stuff and takes great care of his customers. He takes pride in maintaining his air-fill station and providing the latest scuba products.As a dive instructor/guide who averages about 500 dives a year, I bring my gear in to be serviced and Glenn, the technician, does such a wicked job on them. I can't tell you how many times I've had a customer whose gear isn't working and they tell me "well I just had it serviced!"...classic. But Glenn does such an awesome job servicing my regs and BCD that I have NEVER had this issue.I literally trust these guys with my life and fully reccomended them!

Lightspeed Rehabilitation: My wife and I have been dealing with Mitch at Rec & Tek since we bought our first dive kit more than a decade ago. We won't go anywhere else to have our regulators and bcd's serviced. He is patient, even when I ask way too many questions before finally making a decision to buy. He has been a little too helpful aiding my wife buy her accessories and colorful wet suits. We had an issue with a dive computer that we purchased, but Mitch rectified the issue, and came up with a solution that again made us happy we deal with him. His customer service is second to none. We drive from Mississauga to Hamilton to deal with Mitch, even though there are plenty of other dive shops in Missisauga, Oakville and Toronto. He will take the time to get you the right gear.

Steven Allen: We recently travelled to the Maldives with Float N Flag. What a fantastic experience. It started with a few days in Istanbul touring all the sites. Tammy and Brad did a great job setting up an unforgettable experience in one of the world's greatest cities. We loved it. Well organized, lots of fun and we saw so many wonderful things. Then we were off to Male to begin a week of diving. The Maldives is all that you think it is. Beautiful turquoise waters, white sand islands, hotel rooms stretching out over the beautiful blue. The live aboard was great with wonderful accommodating staff. The diving was super convenient from the separate but integrated dive boat. Brad, Tammy and the crew made everything easy. All we really had to do was jump in the water and go explore.The planning was meticulous and everything went smoothly. No easy feat for a large group globe trotting to exotic destinations. Tammy and Brad also did a great job navigating the waters of two group travellers testing positive for covid. They did a great job managing the situation, keeping the group up the speed with the latest developments and plan changes to accommodate the two.We have already booked several other trips with Float N Flag and fully recommend them to anyone who loves to travel, see amazing sites, have world class diving experiences and immerse yourself in other cultures..

It was a seamless and stress-free experience that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the adventure. My trip with Float N' Flag to Istanbul and the Maldives was a bucket-list experience of a lifetime!!Despite the extraordinary experiences I had in Istanbul and the Maldives, it's crucial to acknowledge the impact of COVID-19 on our travel plans today. Unfortunately, this did rear its head during our trip, affecting some of the individuals on board the Emperor Explorer. It was incredibly disappointing to see fellow travelers having to isolate and miss out on the incredible diving opportunities we had. I can only imagine the frustration and disappointment they must have felt at not being able to partake in the underwater wonders of the Maldives. It serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic.Float N' Flag & the Emperor Explorer crew took proactive measures by providing masks, hand sanitizer, and rapid tests for all passengers. The communication provided by the boat staff and tour leaders kept us well-informed about the situation and ensured that everyone was aware of the necessary precautions to take. Despite the challenges, my trip was still an incredible adventure!!

Brenda S: We have a lot of choices when it comes to shopping at a dive shop, and different people are looking for different things. Great service and great selection are two of the things I'm interested in.I purchased a pair of fins from FloatnFlag and after a couple years the fins started to delaminate where the two colours and two materials join. Certainly this isn't the fault of the store, and the fin brand isn't important, but what is important is what happened next.I returned the fins which were three years out of warranty, but my previous pair had last twenty five years so I was disappointed. The store staff mentioned that they do see this delamintation on rare occasions and would contact the distributor to see what could be done.With no hassle and little effort on my part, I received a replacement pair of fins from the store and another diver is a happy camper.-Rob

Sharleen Treleaven: I can't believe my luck in finding Float N' Flag. Dave and Brad are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They are able to assess what is best for each of their customers, and inform, educate, and advise. And that is before the fun even starts!!I went to them because I had broken my trusty prescription diving mask of many years, and I can testify that it is no fun being under the water, but only seeing a blur!!Past experience had made me skeptical about finding a properly fitting mask easily.Dave and Brad managed to find a new mask which fit my old prescription lenses, saving me money. But I was nervous of being left without a mask for another winter in Barbados, so I asked them to order me a second mask.So now, happily, I have two scuba masks, with prescription lenses. Stephen Welton: I had a great experience with the crew at Marlin's when completing my Open Water Diving Course over April and into May 2018. Ben provided me with advice and great pricing on the basic diving gear. I would highly recommend checking in with Marlin's Scuba for gear if you are already a diver for pricing. I bet you'll be happily surprised. The course was spread out around my schedule and the course and pool work was completed close by at the Holiday Inn. We then went to Gullivers Lake somewhat close to home to complete the open water dives. Nothing like a gorgeous day for diving and bbq. All the dive masters working with Marlin's were also knowledgable of their craft. I would suggest if you've been thinking about Scuba Diving you consider Marlin's Scuba for your ACUC training.
