Nick Kottelenberg: Our journey here started with an instagram post from a BIA interview, then included a special treat for one of our customers welcoming them to Hamilton, and continued with our visit last night.We had the full and separate Meat and Cheese flights as well as the Purple People Eater and Ranch Water. All yummy. The pairings were great and a fun journey of your choosing. Justin was an excellent host and Nick did a great job putting our servings together. We ended the evening with the warm pretzel and kielbasa because, well, it sounded good. Try the cinnamon and sugar version and be sure to take a bite of pretzel, mustard, and sausage together..trust me.Will be back again. The drink selection is great and Friday nights there are discounts on both drinks and bottles.Cheers!
M K: This restaurant is great, the patio is super cute, food/drinks are awesome and staff were super friendly. We went on a “no corking fee” Friday, and had a delicious meal and wine for a very reasonable price.
Dan Evans: Amazing cheese and cured meat selection and beautiful charcuterie preparation for both takeout, catering, and dine in. Many meats are house cured. Amazingly curated beer selection with some of the best, hard to get beers in the city on draft and cans/bottles. Knowledgable and friendly staff always willing to chat beer and food.
Stephanie Hayes: Fantastic! First off, Friday nights all their wine is on sale for $12 off a bottle. They also have an amazing cocktail and beer list. The cheese and charcuterie boards were AMAZING and beautiful. The service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. It's a really small restaurant so I recommend making a reservation but it makes for such a nice quiet experience. We will definitely be going back. And they have a patio!

Ian Leipurts: Had Barton Salumeria cater cocktail hour at our wedding. Everything was fantastic and a hit with our guests. The presentation was excellent and Eric and Ikuko were super helpful and professional through the entire process.

We told our waitress Amanda, & she immediately told her manager Cara.We tried to finish it,by putting au jus on it. Near the end of our meal the Manager came over & told us that the meal was on the house. We were totally surprised & pleased..We only had to pay for our drinks. We will definitely be back, best service ever.Dietary restrictions: I told them I had Dairy Allergies they had the manager check my order to make sure there was no dairy

Martina B: Today my family and I went in for dinner to celebrate my 37th birthday. I’ve been to Bean Bar several times and it’s actually so pleasant. Not packed. Atmosphere is very chill and you don’t have to yell over the music. It’s actually quite zen. We got served by Matt ,who was so sweet and so pleasant. He was just the perfect amount of waiter. Just enough small talk and very attentive. Great customer service ,which is very hard to find lately. Thank you Matt. Hope to be served by you again on our next visit.
Priscilla Wong: Excellent service! Our server was friendly and accommodating, definitely highlighted the experience. Prices are a bit high, but you’re paying for good food here!! Nachos are like none you’ve had before, trust me they’re great. Pickled jalapeño and all the best things on one platter. Turkey burger was a bit dry but it had all the right flavours, even the salad accompanying it was amazing. One of the best beef burgers you can get too, such a great meal! Our food took a long time to get to our table though, about an hour of wait.

Bal’s cocktails were delicious and our server Alexander/Caton was amazing! Very engaging and attentive. The chef did an excellent job serving all of our meals together and the food was amazing! The place is beautiful, also they have live music and the food is really good, I tried the lobster with steak and omg, it was the first time I tried lobster and it was worth it. Jeremy Martin: Just got home after a lovely date night at Brothers Grimm Bistro. We had never been there and wanted to find a new place tonight. We literally googled "best upscale restaurant-vibe in Hamilton", and Brothers Grimm came up. So glad we took the chance and tried it. The atmosphere in there in amazing and cosy. We were greeted by a lovely hostess, and then Alexander looked after us for the evening. Alexander is a superstar server who helped make our date-night so special, The food was fantastic - we filled up on appetizers, wine, dessert & a freshly prepared coffee. We will 100% go back and bring friends next time. Awesome restaurant that I would recommend to anyone wanting a special night out!!!

Leslie Alvarez: Excellent hidden gem in Hamilton! My boyfriend and I were in town for a concert and decided to grab a bite at this restaurant,We got the house burger and the roaster chicken, the best food I’ve had in a long time! We will drive from Mississauga again just to eat there it’s really good!! Definitely worth to check out if you’re in town.
