Rob Stirling: . This was a really good deal, these sandwiches are easily worth $10-12 each. However my total without the deal would have been $73, almost $20 a sandwich, that would be crazy expensive for what you get. Don't get me wrong, these are easily the best quick order, fried, chicken sandwiches I've ever had, but it's fried chicken, bun, and slaw... even if it's amazing I couldn't justify the regular price with the quantity, regardless of the quality.So, my review is based on the price I paid. Amazing food... if the price is right.
Bobby K: Great fried chicken joint with a mix of chicken by pieces or strips or in sandwich form.They allow you to choose your level of spice from non-spicey to spicey-AF.The chicken pieces are large, extremely juicey and extremely deep fried, enough to cause a gallbladder attack to the unprepared.The pieces are large, so while I'll easily eat 3-6 pieces of KFC, here I'll usually stop at 1-2. Might also me from all the oil that's soaking the bread that comes under the chicken. But it's still probably the best fried chicken in town.The sandwiches are great also.Sides are delicious. They used to have baked beans that were my fav side, but they're not on the menu currently. They also add pickles which is a nice touch.It's pricey compared to franchise fried chicken joints, but definitely worth it, as long as your gallbladder can handle it.

Miss Cathy: Excellent food and well priced for the amount of flavourful food that will arrive to your table. House made Caesar dressing and croutons yes 🙌🏼incredible caesar salad with chicken! House made broth for their soups, and the poutine vegan gravy and Montreal cheese curds are melt in your mouth amazing! Tony also makes from scratch melt in your mouth the best tasting cannolis that will blow your mind! Thank you staff!!!
Stephen Skuse: Went down for the Art Crawl tonight and decided to give Charred a shot. My wife and I both got cocktail drinks, she went with the Chicken Sandwich, I went with the Brisket. We both chose mild dipping sauce and ended up splitting the sandwiches in half so we could each try both. The server let me know that she doesn't use the dipping sauce with the Brisket, and she was not wrong. There was so much flavor and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken on the other hand, was moist, but we had to use the dipping sauce due to lack of flavour. Definitely worth the price for the sandwiches, as everything was so fresh. Looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

Melissa Kelly: and fresh, too. The cheesecake was good – I always want a Crème Brulee to be crunchy on top, and it never travels well, but the taste was great regardless. If you want a great ¼ chicken from a non chain, Charred is a great place, better actually than what you grew up going to.

So I ordered the Peri-Peri Chicken bowl, took a while to arrive but chicken was nicely cooked & juicy.Chicken is served over rice with corn & red peppers which was a nice combination. Maybe a bit on the expensive side for how much you get; basically $20 for lunch, not including a drink--i think it was around $15, but by the time you tip & pay tax....well, you know.Restaurant is tidy and well kept & has a nice colorful decor, probably a good place to come for a casual meal with friends or colleagues, it's pretty relaxed and server was nice. Would come back again but probably not a weekly destination. Still, pretty good and had a unique seasoning.
