Heather Dansereau: Last summer we had a patio and retaining wall built. This spring a small fault in retaining wall was discovered. Joey replied to my first e-mail saying he would schedule something. Since then he has not replied to repeated e-mails. Service after the original install is non-existant. EDIT TO ADD - since my first review Joey has finally got back to me and arranged a satisfactory repair to my retaining wall. I have amended to 4 stars as Joey would have had 5 stars if he had responded to my concerns in a timely fashion.

Jerry Yard: Dealt with Joey from Albany 3 times in the past 2 years. They re-finished my front porch with flag stone. Retro-fitted my bath tub in my washroom with a new shower insert, glass doors and safety bars which I needed as walking is quite difficult for me. They also rebuilt the retaining walls on my driveway. All the work was done very well. All the workers showed up on time, were clean and cleaned up at the end of the day. I am giving a 5 star review for a number of reasons. The biggest however was when I had a small issue with the grout in the front porch Joey had his guy back over here the following week to address it. Also, not the cheapest but I think you get what you pay for.

Labourers were nice and efficient however left garbage on our property, left without notice and put our steps back together halfass so my bf fell down the stairs. This was not a requirement of their job but I had asked them to.. still do it or dont do it. I called to give feedback and the office staff is really nice and overall in the end I would recommend the company, however just advise to supervise the process to ensure the job is done to your standards.

Cara Stevenson: I chose to use Rockbar services after one of my girlfriends who is a prominent real estate agent in Hamilton recommended them to me. I called rock bar and they sent somebody out right away to talk to me. They informed me that all I have to do is pay them and they take care of contacting the city with the paperwork. Now while I was promised that it would only be two or three months before the city would come and do their lot waterline. It ended up being much longer, almost 6 months. I’m a pretty patient person and I don’t mind waiting, I understand that the city does get busy and there are emergencies. Six months seems like a very long time so I emailed rock bar and ask them what is the next if I should take. Sharon was very friendly with me and I appreciate all of her help. she actually called the city and did all the extra work and calling around for me. She contacted Brad the project coordinator personally and lit a fire under his butt cheeks. Today the city has finally come to complete their part. I’m very excited for my new water pressure.
