Hamilton Convention Centre by Carmen's: what do users think?

Nasir Meraj: Great place for a Convention! Came out for Con Bravo, my 2nd convention. Lotta online personalities came out, Floss, TFS, Comic Book Guy, Lets Players, bought a hot dog, fish/chips. It's been too long. I felt like I was missing out, but I don't love travel, by driving, weird times, being pressed for cash, being in college, not having steady work. That was years ago. Have a plan, save up cash, and check into a hotel. Don't be a loner. Don't love convention cold either. Discern who are good friends, and who are jerks. Didn't buy any games, comics, much food, wanted to splurge.

Samuel Reid: Nice setting love it

yash singh: It's nice and well organized place went there for job fair

Jeff Vogan: Very helpful staff.

D Marg E: Expensive parking. No outside food. The building is clean. Washrooms are clean.

JASON NIKISCHIN: Easy to get to. Great for large events.

Vallerie Fair: Very nice place to have our annual Memorial of Christ's death. I have never been here before and being with just another woman, we felt really comfortable with the underground parking.

Hamilton Plaza Hotel and Conference Center: what do users think?

Richard English: Beautifully designed and newly renovated rooms, clean, quiet, with great views of the city. Very welcoming and courteous staff. Located in the heart of Hamilton with a convenient walkthrough to Jackson Square shopping centre - right from the hotel lobby. Starbucks in the lobby as well!Noteworthy details: Convenient access to Lloyd D. Jackson square right from the hotel lobby - for all your food and shopping needs!

Alex Dale: I was very pleased by the service and amenities. It is in a central location and close walking distance to the nice restaurants on King William Street and James Street.Nearby activities: Good restaurants on King William Street

David Hurley: My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Hamilton for two nights. We had a wonderful visit! The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable. The rooms are clean with great views. We dined in the restaurant the second night and were very impressed by both the dishes and the restaurant staff. The hotel is centrally located with closed parking under the hotel. Our room was reasonably priced as well. When we are back in Hamilton, we will be back!

Brandon Brabender: The hotel itself was fine. The room was clean. Hamilton itself is just not it for tourism apart from 2 attractions.

D Lamb: From the moment you walk through the doors you are greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile. I arrives early, due to an early flight and the desk staff were able to store and luggage. Once a room became ready they were able to check me in. Great front desk staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Even the security guard is helpful and friendly. I had a great stay and looking forward to going back. Full size amenities in the washroom...I really wanted to take them with me 😀. Dining room on site has amazing food. Friendly staff and they really go above and beyond. 🥗Rooms: Clean and comfortable...the bed was amazing

Justin R: Edit for corrections that I should have done much sooner

Amanda Ducey: Checked in very late on a Monday, and it went rather quickly, almost too quickly, but at that point, I was too tired to care to question. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable with more than enough pillows. Lots of storage areas for our things, and a good supply of towels and toiletries. The room didn't have a microwave, and for the price we paid was rather surprised. I don't know if any of the rooms offer one, to be honest, and it's disappointing. The fridge was tiny, but enough to keep our drinks cold. There was zero information in the room regarding if there was room service or what was local to the hotel for food. The pool was very small and lackluster. Towels were well stocked there, which was nice to see. There was an outdoor deck area, but it can only really accommodate one group of people. The unique feature of this hotel is how connected it is. Using a pedestrian bridge, we were able to access the Hamilton Convention Centre, and the hotel is also connected to Jackson Square Mall. Tim Horton's, Starbucks, Dollarama, and more within a quick walk without having to go outside. Let's just say I felt a lot safer than having to go outside.Security is always at the door, and they were super friendly.Checkout was quick and easy.Overall, it's not a bad stay.

C. Marion: A great hotel right in downtown hamilton with lots of amenities close by within walking distance. The hotel itself was great, with a parking garage located underneath at no extra cost to the room. Security was always at the door to keep everything safe and secure. There is a pool with a fitness center, which was an added bonus. And the room itself was very clean and well put together.Would recommend.

Karen LaBrie: Had the pleasure of staying for an overnight. Check in was seamless and front staff were very polite and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. After checkout, I had an accident in the parking garage that left my rear windshield in a million pieces.I would really like to thank all of the staff for their help. Front desk provided me with cardboard and tape and a few minutes later Collin, the manager was in the parking garage asking if we were ok, if we needed anything and how could he assist. He brought with him another employee who vacuumed all the glass from my vehicle.I am so appreciative of the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff.Well done!Thank you Collin and staffNearby activities: Great location to First Ontario Centre

Residence & Conference Centre - Hamilton: what do users think?

Bill Stevens: This is a student residence type setting. With that in mind I give it a 5 star across the board. Don't expect the Hilton if you come here. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a kitchenette for under $100.00 a night. Staff were great, the suite was clean, and I used the gym in the college for $6.00 a day. I was there to visit family in the area and see some sights with my daughter. Could not ask for better accommodations.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants nearby south on up Upper James Street.

Taylor Bradley: Restaurants only operate during school season . Not close to anything. Front desk were very kind and helpful and very apologetic !Nearby activities: NothingWalkability: Nothing

bushi collakbushi: My family and I were in this place because we were doing some renovations at home and we were looking everywhere to find something not that expensive. So we checked online and went to this place and we found very Coustumer service , big rooms , quite and the price is reasonable.Thank you very much to the Staff and to the Manager.Rooms: Big and very clean

Michelle G: and activities, that were a great fit for our group.

Tamara Maciel: and we would be very comfortable.

Izvorul Ottawa: . The location, room set up and price are just what we need, and the service was fantastic. Tamara and Mariajose were very kind and helpful, and Vera was just incredible. She remembered us and our needs from previous years, even remembered the size of our group. She was a great communicator, respectful, patient and accommodating. Big thanks to the team and we look forward to returning next year!

Andria Hexx: Great place to stay during the summer---bear in mind this is a college campus so it's not going to be as quiet as some places but all in all totally worth the price and the staff are really nice & accommodating. The rooms have 2 seperate bedrooms and a kitchen area with sink & microwave, ideal if you're travelling with a friend , kids or even 2 couples.Being a school, you do have to smoke/vape off the property, but not a big deal.I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Hamilton, cheaper than the mid range hotels and just as nice, really. Lots of food options fairly close, if you don't drive maybe bring a bike...also bonus points for having a bike lockup & laundry facilities!

himani rai: Nice and clean place to stay. Free parking, paid laundry and a kitchenette is there.Rooms: Very clean rooms with tv and double size bed. We booked a suite with 2 rooms.

Cathy Hewlett: I have stayed here many times for the Ride to Conquer Cancer event. Super affordable and great staff. My room was right at the roof where the fan for the AC was, so for that I dropped a star as I am a light sleeper. They tried to accomodate a switch for me but the Residence was completely booked.I will stay there again next year.CH

Cláudio Gomes: I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a great choice overall. The location was excellent, and the hotel itself provided a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. However, one downside was the lack of kitchen utensils. I was only given two plastic cups, which made basic tasks like warming up water challenging. Despite this, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the overall experience was positive. I recommend this hotel, with the hope that they address the issue with the kitchen utensils for future guests' convenience.

Ylermi Cabrera León: Very close to Mohawk College. Well connected with Hamilton GO station. Supermarkets a bit far. Some restaurants inside the university.Rooms: One double bed per room, 2 per module. Kitchen does not have cutlery or utensils, only microwave and large combi fridge.
