Jose Tusingwire: It was a great 👍 place for family. Parents and children can enjoy the lake without worrying that children will wonder away.There are guides watching out o swimmers .Just go early enough to enjoy a day in nature and thank God for His greatness 🙌.
Henry Lukassen: Amazing place and reachable from Mississauga. The water is small but lots of activities for the family. Jump off 10ft diving boards, slide down the water slide, climb one of many inflatables and lots more. Price may seem higher then most campgrounds, but your there for the fun activitys offered that not many campgrounds offers.Thanks for the fun weekend.
Jason: Kids had lots of fun! Bring your own life jackets and pack a cooler to save a few bucks. Adults and children must wear life jackets regardless of ability when in the climbing structure areas. Good price for a day out with the family.

Jennifer Boughton: The park is clean, the staff is friendly and accommodating! The cabin was beautiful, clean, comfortable and spacious enough for the 3 of us. Cabins are equipped with heating/Air conditioning. In the cabin you are supplied with your linens, towels and almost everything you would need in the kitchen. I say almost as our cabin had dishes, utensils and pots, coffee machine, small fridge and microwave but could have used a frying pan. We went out and bought one. Also a broom/dust pan would have been nice to have, we bought one of those for our stay as well. Kids track in dirt from outside and I wanted to ensure the dirt didn’t go further than the front entrance. I am a person of respect for others property. Felt safe walking the grounds,
Carlos Alberto Pilon: Good place to camp with children, you can take tents, rent a cabin for two people, and rent a chalet with a bathroom. I stayed in a cabin next to the river, very quiet and away from the crowd.Rooms: The chalet has very good accommodation, a double bed, with pillows, sheets, blankets, a table with two chairs, two chairs outside and a place to make a fire.Food & drinks: You have to take it from home and enjoy the bonfire.

Simon G: We rented a small cabin for three days and it was awesome. The cabin comfortably slept four, and had everything we needed for the kitchen. It included two gas burners, pots and pans, coffee maker, bedding, bathroom with a shower etc so we didn't really have to pack too much other than food and clothes.The camp grounds had a nice playground and splash pad which our kids loved, and canoe and kayaks were included with our cabin rental.The campground had a small dock and boat launch and was great for canoeing in the river. The only mark against it would be there isn't really a beach, but the river was surprisingly warm.Everyone we met was really nice and the campgrounds were well kept, clean and gorgeous. We'll go again for sure.

TheGaming727: We've been visiting the park for a couple years now, and this is by far one of the better camping parks we've been to.Super friendly staff, great hiking trails, and all that are the positives about Valens. Negatives are the fact there's no park patrols keeping watch over the park and maintaining law and order.Playground: The playground used to exist up by the Camp Store, but was ripped out within the last decade.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are encouraged, however there are enforced quiet hours at night which means dogs must be silent around those times.Picnic area: Plenty of picnic areas around by the beach and more on the road heading towards the campgrounds.
