S B: highly recommend this when you're in hamilton. perfect for couples or a nice outdoor family activity. about a 45 minute boat ride around the hamilton pier overlooking cootes paradise and the burlington bridge in the distance. i like that it's a small boat so it's more intimate with a smaller group going at a time. tickets are sold just next to william's café at a fairly reasonable price.

He is very knowledgeable about Hamilton, its history, the businesses and people who established Hamilton.The boat tour goes around the harbour. The tour guide can answer all sorts of questions you might have. Including the real story of the original Tim Horton's in Hamilton in Westdale.

We had Mark as our tour guide and he did a fantastic job - funny, engaging, & gave a wonderful “local” perspective. We had a pleasant talk with him after the tour & he even recommended some local restaurants and other history-oriented stops in the area. Would 10/10 do this tour again if we are back in the area. The marina where the tour is located is also an up-and-coming area with some food, skating, fishing, and a play area for kids. Looks like apartments are coming to the area so get here before it’s too busy!

Kathleen Gagliardi: A friend and I had booked a Trafalgar tour scheduled for May 2020, so it was cancelled of course. That trip was re-booked for May 2022; it was Prague-Vienna-Budapest and the worsening situation nearby made us uneasy. Our excellent travel consultant Kiran Grewal was quick to assist us with an alternate plan. She was helpful all through the two years of planning, worrying about policy and cancellation/rebooking, and the flexible reboot to the trip. During the trip itself she forwarded perfect information for current documentation for our return to Canada, 'the icing on the cake' for me. As a traveler you would be fortunate to have Kiran's competent, calm, professional assistance.

John Arkossy: Just want to state some facts about our travel agency “Discount Coach Tours”, specifically Steffy Chen, our River Cruise Expert. We have had a European river cruise in the works since late 2019 which has obviously been cancelled numerous times due to covid. When it all appeared to come together for this year, the entire cruise was cancelled due to the area conflict. Ms. Chen was not only able to get us on another cruise of superior valve but also saved us “literally” thousands of dollars plus was able to get us numerous upgrades. Her knowledge of the industry, professionalism, efficiency, patience and not to mention, tenacity are second to none when ensuring that her clients receive the utmost available incentives and value. I have worked in 27 countries and together with my wife have travelled to at least another twenty. We are well versed in working with travel agents and agencies, Ms. Chen, in my opinion, is in a class of her own, she is the benchmark for the definition of the term customer service and satisfaction. Second to none that I’ve dealt with!

Crystal Meade: Just a delightful evening on board with the Bella with Captain Joel. Lots of value in the affordable price of seventy five dollars per adult. A really nice easy ride and a lovely way to mark an occasion and make a memory.

Stacy Cooper: Great place to celebrate a birthday. Captain Eva, and servers Donny and Matt were awesome. The food was exceptiomal-nachos and salsa to start, cocktails, salad, chicken or beef with mashed potatoes and green beans, followed by brownie, strawberry shortcake or apple crumble. Get a big group in there, and it's a fun party cruising down the river.

Barry Taylor: A unique experience cruising on the Grand River. The boat leaves the dock and travels south towards Lake Erie but turns around at the dam in Caledonia. The trip takes about 2 hours. We learned about the history of the area. A 4-course meal was served. We made our food selections when we purchased our tickets.

Ben Tavenor: dressings and a large bun of homemade bread , which came in handy later for cleaning up your plate from the roast beef dinner . The beef was easily cut with our butter knife , tender and delicious . I had the strawberry shortcake while my wife had the apple crumble for dessert , both were tasty . Now for the cruise side of things . We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful summer evening easing along up and down the Grand River and met some friendly fellow passengers and equally friendly crew and staff . We even learned some interesting history and facts about the area . It was an all around five star occasion which I would do again !

Mary Edwards: Very welcoming and organized! The pre-cruise music show " blazing fiddles" was lively, entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable! It is a very talented group of musicians. We never felt rushed. Boarding the boat was easy and totally accessible for everyone regardless of mobility limitations. The cruise was very relaxing. The meal was served inside and we had time to sit outside between the main course and dessert. The captain provided commentary for highlights along the way but was not always talking so there was quiet time for conversation or just enjoying nature along the river. It is a family business that is well run. A lovely way to spend an afternoon. The passengers were mainly older people but there were some kids too...and they got to help the captain drive the boat.
kyle meldrum: The entertainment by the blazing fiddles was excellent in the common room of the facility prior to departure. The cruise was laid back and casual but not much too see on the shores but camp grounds and Ontario forest and the boat could have used some work. The food was just ok. The captain and staff were friendly and inviting.
evader11: A good backdrop setting if all you want is a place to relax and talk with friends or family and eat. Food felt like a home-style meal. The portion of the drinks menu that are non-gratuitous is where the taste gets better. Didn't get the music show option with the Blazing Fiddles that costs extra. They play at the auditorium in the indoor dockside pavilion on certain days of the week only. The topography of the river is such that the embankments are high enough to block most of the scenery so the sightseeing is of the treeline and local wildlife, most of which are ducks, muskrats, herons and, if you're lucky, bald eagles.

Excited to go again!Just went on the dinner cruise again Aug 15th and it was so relaxing, meal was delicious, the service was fantastic and everyone was friendly!

He listened to what we were looking for and suggested a Cruise of the Greek Islands. He suggested we stay in Athens for a couple of nights before the cruise and made arrangements for our taxi and our day trip. The service was impeccable. His suggestions as to what to see in Athens and what to see on all the islands we visited were excellent. We had a spectacular time! He even called us when we returned to see how the trip went. Fantastic to be taken from "being apprehensive about capsizing" to "practicing proper rescue & getting back on board safely". PLUS attempting rolls. I am over 60 but believe with Aaron's instructions I might be able to complete a roll even if my hips don't move like Shakira. This definitely left me wanting another lesson.Added bonus, you get to do this learning in a Nigel Dennis Kayak. Those are definitely top quality.

Aaron and Iza were fantastic, ensuring no matter what level of experience you had they made you feel comfortable to learn at your pace. Their enthusiasm and celebration of your progression made you want to keep going! Thanks Aaron and Iza , I learned so much and know that the new skills will keep me safer and a better kayaker!
Susan McLachlan: My introduction to sea kayaking was with Kayak Ontario this June for the Level 1 course. I recommend it to anyone who wants to be on the water. You learn skills that force you to be more comfortable on and in the water including wet exits and assisted and non assisted reentry. The paddle strokes taught are beneficial even with our recreational kayaks. We enjoyed the course so much my partner ordered a kayak for delivery this fall and I just picked up my very own Delta Blue. I recommend Kayak Ontario courses, services, and awesomeness to anyone interested in anything kayak related. Special thanks to Aaron and Lydia for the great instruction during th course and for all of our classmates for being so great as well. Can't wait to hit the water more confidently and of course keep on practicing.
