They were able to mock up in the back of their shop an exact set up for my frame in order to cut and make a new bimini. I did not have a template to start from but their approach and attention to detail ended up creating a perfect fit bimini. Absolutely perfect.I am also using them for some repairs of a few older pieces on the boat to bring them up to like new appearance.I would highly recommend.

Norma Armes: We took our 20 year old Eagle cover to them in late fall, and by very early spring our new one of the custom colour of our choice was ready. They gave us the snaps to install in it on location to match exact positioning of the snap halves on our boat.We just finished installing those snaps and we have a gorgeous quality cover ready for another twenty years. As we installed the snaps, we could not help but marvel at the quality workmanship and talent that had gone into this cover. Everything fit like a glove. Martin was able to talk me through the different products and knowledgeably speak to application. He did explain to me that material was non-returnable and his explanation as to why does make sense. I consider this to be a proof that good service still exists, and there are still good passionate people willing to help those supporting local small business.

They always take the time to answer any inquiry thoroughly and provide you with real and factual responses - the gentleman and lady who answer the phones and are at the front counter, are phenomenal at getting everything you need looked after. I have an older classic vessel and parts are difficult to find, however, Bay City is able to order whatever I provide a part number for, and are able to get all OE Spec Mercury parts or their equivalent, within an extremely timely manner. Really can’t say enough - they outdo themselves and they my go-to for all Mercury/Mercruiser parts.

Stuart Seldon: Bay City has been maintaining my boat for at least 10 years, and they've always been great folks to deal with. A recent situation has lead me to write this review.Last winter, a rodent got under the cowling on my Yamaha 150. The thing ate most of the wires under there. I patched things up as best I could, but the instruments on my dash wouldn't work. I finally got the boat in, fully expecting I'd need to drop $1500+ on a repair. When Doug called me a few hours after I dropped the boat off, I expected the worst, so I was thrilled when he told me it was a minor issue which they corrected, and that they'd checked out my work and thought it was just fine.My point is that they could have charged me a LOT more, but they didn't. Many mechanics would not be this honest. I mentioned this to Clarence, and he simply replied, "That's not how we do business." I knew that of course, because I've been using them for many years, for exactly this reason.I highly recommend Bay City Marine!

Sung Kang: Just purchased a Starcraft Storm 165SC aluminum fishing boat from Dewildt Marine and I had a great buying experience. Mitch Atlee was my sales consultant and he was fantastic to work with. I initially started emailing with him after configuring a boat on the Legend website. Most of the time when the website says that a salesperson is going to reach out, they never do. But in this case Mitch emailed immediately and was open to discussing alternatives to the Legend because I wanted something with a wider beam as well as an alternative to Mercury outboards, which is how I ended up in the Starcraft with a 70hp Yamaha. I had an easy time with the purchase and he even offered free tickets to the Hamilton boat show so I could see the actual boat before I committed. He helped me upgrade the trolling motor and threw in some great accessories to save me cash upon delivery. I look forward to years of enjoyment with this new toy and highly recommend Dewildt and Mitch in particular if you are looking for a no pressure sales experience!
