Stacey Altayebi: Spoke with Martin regarding some Interlux Pre-Kote & Brightside I was requiring in order to paint my Boler trailer. Despite the product not being used for boating purposes. Martin was able to talk me through the different products and knowledgeably speak to application. He did explain to me that material was non-returnable and his explanation as to why does make sense. I consider this to be a proof that good service still exists, and there are still good passionate people willing to help those supporting local small business.

Very well-stocked store room, and prices are some of the best I have seen, for most products. Hard not to leave without buying something I need. Pickup their catalogue in-store, for a full inventory. Very impressed and never crowded. Great spot and now a permanent customer.

Matthew Thomas: A pleasure to deal with. They always take the time to answer any inquiry thoroughly and provide you with real and factual responses - the gentleman and lady who answer the phones and are at the front counter, are phenomenal at getting everything you need looked after. I have an older classic vessel and parts are difficult to find, however, Bay City is able to order whatever I provide a part number for, and are able to get all OE Spec Mercury parts or their equivalent, within an extremely timely manner. Really can’t say enough - they outdo themselves and they my go-to for all Mercury/Mercruiser parts.

Stuart Seldon: Bay City has been maintaining my boat for at least 10 years, and they've always been great folks to deal with. A recent situation has lead me to write this review.Last winter, a rodent got under the cowling on my Yamaha 150. The thing ate most of the wires under there. I patched things up as best I could, but the instruments on my dash wouldn't work. I finally got the boat in, fully expecting I'd need to drop $1500+ on a repair. When Doug called me a few hours after I dropped the boat off, I expected the worst, so I was thrilled when he told me it was a minor issue which they corrected, and that they'd checked out my work and thought it was just fine.My point is that they could have charged me a LOT more, but they didn't. Many mechanics would not be this honest. I mentioned this to Clarence, and he simply replied, "That's not how we do business." I knew that of course, because I've been using them for many years, for exactly this reason.I highly recommend Bay City Marine!

Wayne T: Went in to ask if my lower-end oil looks ok Mike the owner took his busy time to look at the pictures I show him and suggested I should change the oil, I told him I wasn’t sure what I was doing and he said to bring the boat in he would show me how now that goes above and beyond. Thank you, Mike! You’ve earned my business from here on. For anyone out there looking for an honest mechanic look no further I highly and can’t recommend enough about this place. This place is the best bar none!

I'm now looking at doing salt water boating and Mike was so gracious to spend his time explaining to me the many differences between fresh and salt water boating. I highly recommend his services to any boater, novice and in my case experienced...always something new to learn.
