The Certified Chicken Boy: was good, but for the price I was left with a feeling of dissatisfaction. The appetizers however were to die for - I don't think I've had a salad that good before, and the dessert was authentic and very enjoyable. The two young ladies serving my table were very kind and it was easy to see they were putting in effort to make the table's experience an enjoyable one. The location has some neat history, too. If you're not one to care for money or food too much and want an outing for a fun family experience, look no further.

Marcia Ingleton: This is not only a stellar restaurant but is my most favorite. I recently celebrated my 61st birthday at The French and to my absolute surprise, a special 8 course menu with wine pairing plus being seated being at the Chef's Table was awesome.The food, service, ambiance and conversation with the Chef, Somoliier and Staff was entertaining and very enjoyable. I cannot stop gushing about this restaurant and would recommend that you reserve a memorable night out at The French.....you won't be disappointed.

colin craig: This was my first time here and overall had a decent enough experience. We were there with a party of 10. One person had the fried chicken which was very overcooked and had to be sent back and another guest got fries with thier meal but it was a tiny portion compared to everyone else and had to request more be sent out. Those issues aside the rest of the good was good, cooked well and tasted good. Would recommend 👍
Warren: Just leaving a quick note to commend State & Main on their excellent delivery packaging. The food is pretty standard Canadian mish-mash fare, lots of familiar options and everything I've had here has been solid. But that extra detail of high-quality bag and containers sets this place apart from others. Well done.

Randy G: Party of 4, on a Saturday evening. We ate on the patio which is set beside the main building, back from the sidewalk. Very nice atmosphere for dinner, little street noise. Our server was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed appetizers, mains and dessert. The Key Lime tart was excellent. The interior of the tavern is quite elegant, and we’d definitely recommend, except for the Chocolate crème Brûlée which was more of a chocolate pudding and overly sweet.
Sam Samida: If you go to pizza pizza for your pizza then please avoid this classy hidden gem of Hamilton. Dishes are made to perfection and selection is fabulous. Staff are good but drinks take time to arrive at table. Still this place deserves 6 stars out of 5. Been there few times and never let down. Please make sure you have a sophisticated desire to try superb food before you visit

Todd Taylor: Great meal here on Tuesday with Family. Really appreciated the friendly staff, from the second you walked in, until the second you left. Very reasonably priced. Great ambience. We were able to actually hear each other easily and felt no pressure in terms of time. Rylee B: Great place if you wanna dine in! The server who took us today was incredibly informative 👌 and very charismatic! Her jokes and wittyness made the whole experience alot less intimidating. They have huge portions so it can be overwhelming when trying to decide how much you'd like for leftovers. Overall would come back! Definitely worth a try if you love burgers!

We told our waitress Amanda, & she immediately told her manager Cara.We tried to finish it,by putting au jus on it. Near the end of our meal the Manager came over & told us that the meal was on the house. We were totally surprised & pleased..We only had to pay for our drinks. Bruno Di Giovanni: We had a great experience at The Keg last night we just came after 5:00 but they still gave us 5:00 happy hour drinks and my wife felt her steak was a little salty and they comp'd her steak management and the server for us were great throughout the evening we've been there before and will continue going there based on the good food and good service

Maya Gdalska (mspace): Beyond a 10/10 experience. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was lovely and comforting and welcoming, the drink list incredible including the mock tails. The wait staff was beyond wonderful, Brian and Kyle made the experience so relaxing and blissful by being very friendly and knowledgeable of drinks and food, having some fun banter and ensuring we had everything we could ever need, including bearing with us waiting out some short rain to enjoy one more patio day for the summer. Will absolutely be visiting again and recommending!

Caylee Spearing: Been here so many times would definitely consider it one of my favorite places to eat by far as a picky person I tend to have a lot of anxiety with going out to eat giving the fact that idk if they will have anything I even like but this place does not disappoint they have the basics like chicken strips and fries a killer Mac and cheese that's my favorite on the kids menu they have alfredo but if you ask they're nice enough to make it in a bigger size the restaurant it's self just visually looks very cool and rustic and the service is always amazing
Andrew Sparkes: Went out for our monthly family meal, the server Angie M was fantastic. Service was fast and accurate. The food was brilliant, the ribs and wings were great the meat fell right off the bone. The cornbread was sweet and moist. My kids enjoyed their meals too except my son who found out the chicken sandwich was to spicy for him 😆, but he finished most of it.
Random Llama: Came here with my aunt for lunch and was served by Andrew, he was very friendly and great at his job. I come here semi regularly and I prefer this location to some others I’ve been to since the servers are kind and the atmosphere is better than a lot of similar restaurants. I particularly love the skillet cookie, it’s often the deciding factor when considering where to eat since the cookie, ice cream and toffee sauce pair so well together. Andrew was also very understanding of my dietary restrictions and made sure my meal was altered accordingly, which is shockingly rare among other restaurants. Thanks for the great meal!

Cassandra Gonzales: Pictured here are the The French Onion burger with Cajun fries and the Duck Wings with honey lime sriracha - damn delicious! The burger was hella tasty and just loaded with toppings. They didn’t skimp on the cajun seasoning on the fries at all. My only complaint would be to leave more of the meat on the duck wings, they’re so yummy. Oh, and their homemade ketchup is amazing!We sat out in the front patio, which they could definitely add a few more tables at. Service was SO kind and attentive. Definitely need to come back at try their other burgers.
Layla Ibraheem: This place has one of the best burgers in Hamilton.Whenever I go here the workers are always very nice and the service is good. I had the Yankee burger and it was SO good my only tiny problem is the fries are a bit too salty for me but other than that the food was delicious. I definitely recommend if you want a really good burger.
Chase Robertson: Southern catfish was so great! The only reason I’m giving 4/5 is because the fries were definitely over salted. I was drinking quite a bit of water just to only eat about half. Enough about that though because the flavor of the catfish was so great!Vibes were immaculate. Such a chill spot. Was looking for a good eatery after a long drive and I got exactly what I was looking for. Great spot. Wish I could give 4.75/5.
