Dale M: I booked a private room and a lunch for a day of spiritual retreat. The centre is a great place to do this. Comfortable rooms, lots of amenities, great hospitality, and all shrouded in peace that comes from the Holy Spirit's presence.

Michael Spangler: I have benefitted greatly from the teachings and support I received from Kushok. I felt welcomed by the group there and got alot out of the experience. It is good to be part of a group involved in self awareness and spiritual growth. Kushok is a great teacher.
Crystal Sea: This is an amazing gem, in the heart of Edmonton. They have a wonderful teacher, a master, monk from India, Tibet and beyond, who lives here in the city and teaches here at the centre. They are an inclusive community of practicing Buddhist's who welcome all people of all ages, races, faiths and beliefs. They have wonderful programs all throughout the week and celebrate the major Tibetan holidays and ritual days. The temple is beautifully decorated inside and outside. You can tell the members here really take pride in their temple. Their website is easy to navigate and they have a great online presence with facebook and Instagram. The dedication to the dharma is admirable. They are always looking to expand their members base and welcome everyone to come learn meditation, mindfulness, compassion, dharma and Buddhist philosophy.
Glo from Afar: Very spiritual and peaceful. Kushok is a wise, knowledgeable guru trained under Dalai Lama's teachings. His kindness and approachable nature allow for easier guidance for all.
David Turner (Thoepden Lobsang): This place saved my life. If you are looking to improve your mind and take yourself to a higher place, with a lot of effort and investigation on your part, why not check out the website for a beginner's class or when to drop by.

Darlene Timmerman: No issues with the facility and the care. The rooms, and the staff are lovely. But finding the place for a visit the first time is a nightmare! There is no signage specifically for the hospice so once you enter the compound off St Vital Ave (which contains half a dozen buildings its by guess or by gosh where to go. Then, once you find the building there is no clear indication that it is indeed THE building since it is attached to and not distinguished from, another biilding with an intercom entrance. There is an area for handicapped parking which makes it more accessible for visitors thus in need but it is not immediately obvious. What one sees immediately upon finally identifying the place is a set of stairs from the parking lot to the entrance of the building. This is dismaying for anyone with a walker or any type of mobility issue. Once inside the building there is a long trek from the one and only entrance/exit to/from the rooms on the north end. So, all in all, the facility, although wonderful for patients, is not very visitor friendly, especially considering new visitors are probably already distressed to some degree. Please, Foyer Lacombe: could you invest in some clearer directional signage for visitors?

morag gordon: My mother passed three weeks ago, the care was brilliant, and families are so welcomed, and accommodated. At this a most difficult time, you made it possible to say goodbye with love and dignity. The staff are wonderful and caring, from the cleaner who first greeted us, to the nurses, chaplain and administrators, everyone was lovely and caring. Thank you, thank you thank you.

That was my mom you helped out and I can't thank you enough for accommodating momma bear and the family when she was there. 01/19/23 @ 9:00am she got called home and I couldn't have wished for a better place to happen at. The staff is super wonderful and they made sure that she was comfy and well looked after ❤️❤️❤️.Your loved ones would be very well looked after here, if you choose to do so. ❤️❤️❤️
