Gale Songco: I was a first time mom I did not know where to go or what to do. I found Gianna Centre and they helped me out to get a doctor, doula and all the baby stuff I needed including an almost brand new baby swing! They were a blessing to me! Everybody was so helpful and even offered to deliver things to me as sometimes I do not have a vehicle even though I live on the different side of Edmonton. Also they had lots of give aways of diaper which really helped me.

I have learned everything from money management, to cooking classes, knitting, Indigenous beading, parenting classes, enfant CPR, gardening, discovering your dignity class, counseling, and how to run my own business through creating a market with the other Mom's. We sell our own handmade products like bath bombs, new and gently used baby clothes, handmade soups, farm fresh veggies, free run eggs, amongst many other items. After my Mom passed away I wasn't sure how I would manage everything. I love spending time here, having child mining available so I can learn new skills. Support through grieving my family members who have gone home to be with the Lord. I would recommend the Gianna Centre to any Mom's who are pregnant, or facing an unplanned pregnancy. Before you make any decisions know that you are not alone as you may feel, there are places like this where you can find resources and support for your decisions when dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. Thank you Gianna Centre for the kindness and support you have shown me during and after my pregnancy and for being such amazing role models to myself and my daughter. ❤

Karen De Mesa: I have been here for both of my pregnancies. Both times I have been seen by Dr Andrew Swinton and he was always professional and attentive to my concerns. I also had the pleasure to be seen by other doctors at this clinic and they are all wonderful to deal with. Unfortunately, my 2nd pregnancy is now a high risk one and I have to switch to a high risk OB. Dr Swinton was very empathetic towards my situation during this hard time. I wish him the best and will miss seeing him for the rest of my pregnancy. I had the best care with him and this clinic. Thank you

ENGLAND is a great professional, knowledgeable, caring and extremely patient when it came to answering my 1000 questions. 😊 My journey was best because of her. She is simply awesome! DR. PENROD – She delivered my baby and made the whole process so very easy. She took care of me, provided all the insights with utmost transparency, very knowledgeable and yes, she would crack jokes in between to make you feel light. She is a Rockstar! DR. LO – She initiated my delivery process and visited me post-delivery to check my & baby’s well-being. Extremely focused towards her work. Her initial decisions and efforts regarding my delivery process were so helpful afterwards. HAILEY– She is super nice, helpful and a great professional. She is very respectful towards everyone and patient with the queries during calls/in person. Based upon the great experience - I would highly recommend this clinic.

Vicky Sutherland: was great -informative, professional, and efficient.Dr. Lo delivered our baby. She walked us through every step of the process. Great bedside manner.Dr. Cardinal got to check in on us before discharge. She provided helpful breastfeeding tips!Dr. Penrod saw us at 2 week postpartum appointment. She provided a lot of information on baby, my health, birth control options, etc. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to chat with.All in all, it is a great clinic with fantastic staff! I will be returning if I get a chance!

A.D. Rehbein: I have seen both Dr Eliyahu and Dr Swinton, both of whom have been amazing. I read other reviews about this office being discriminatory against women with extra weight- in my case this is THE FURTHEST from the truth. They are a low risk OB clinic and your BMI is part of the equation to figure out your risk level. I am blessed to be plus size and deemed low risk. I have never once been made to feel bad about my size and rather, have been made to feel like I'm doing a great job as I navigate through my first pregnancy. The front desk ladies are also amazing both in person and over the phone. I feel beyond blessed to know my baby and I are in good hands and am proud to say I'll be delivering at the Grey Nuns with a doctor from this clinic. Dr Eliyahu is seriously one of the most down to earth and kind doctors... and Dr Swinton was fantastic to see as well. Thank you Millwoods Maternity Care Clinic for keeping my anxiety at bay and for always being there for my questions and concerns.

Fatema Zohra: . She treated me like my own elder sister. Whenever, whatever concern I had she dealt with that right away. Often times I said something in one appointment and forgot it after couple of appointments but she never forgot. She remembers each and every details about her patients. Whenever she suggest or talked about any issue she referred her own pregnancies not with her other patients which made me feel I am talking to one of my friends not with any doctor. She is busy but yet keeps herself super relax and calm whenever she talked with me. I live here with my husband, didn't have any other family members or relatives so every time I used to go for my appointments I used to feel like I am meeting one of my family members. I wish just the best for Dr. Penrod. She is an amazing human being. I also had appointments with other doctors sometimes when Dr. Penrod was busy in delivery . I had appointments with Dr. Leeor Eliyaho, Dr. cynthia Kwong, Dr. Lana, Dr. Cardinal all of them were beyond amazing. I am soo thankful to each of them to make my pregnancy easy and help me to bring my child safely. Also the front desk staffs are very friendly .

Jordan Lee: We had our breech delivery at the lois hole. They made my wife very comfortable. We dealt with a few doctors as we arrived close to shift change. Dr. Pattel was excellent when we arrived, Answered all our questions and listened to all our concers. All the staff monitored my wife very closely and helped with all we needed. Dr. Daniel did the delivery the following shift and was very excellent. They were also very prepared for every possible outcome.Recovery process was also very good, could not ask for any more. Excellent service all around.

Barbara Wasyk: Delivered both my babies here, most recent was September 2021. The care my baby and I received were exceptional, especially during the pandemic. I did have a cold when I was admitted so I was considered “isolation” but I never felt that impacted the care I received. I’m so appreciative of the staff with helping me have a safe delivery, despite how quick and crazy it all went. I’m so grateful for all the nurses and drs we have at this hospital!

Nikki H: I’ve gone here several times and can’t say enough great things about the nursing staff and especially Dr. Jiwa. She is truly a saint! She has a great bedside manner and will instantly put you at ease. All the nurses I’ve encountered here are very comforting and sweet as well. They make hard visits bearable. I’ve never had an issue with wait times either. Each time I’ve been here I am in and out pretty quickly. I am super greatful for this facility and the amazing staff.

They saved my new born life, and still follow him to this day.The psych ward 15 years ago was so kind, compassionate, and respectful 15 years ago when they truly helped a good friend of mine.And here today I'm in hospital overnight with surgery and they are so kind, gentle, and listen to my needs on unit 22.This hospital is all around fricken amazing. Branka Hanson: Dr Hassenoff has been a family physician for years. Met him today and am so pleased with his bed side manner and his care and attentiveness towards my parents. Couldn’t ask for a better dr for my elderly parents. His nurse could be a bit better but he is an absolute gem of a dr.

Truth “Crooze” Teller: This dr Mc dermit hasn’t went beyond what any neurologist would do to try help me the best he can. I suffer extreme pain after physiotherapist pushed on my frontal lobe down extremely hard for 2 minutes on a wooden table. Ayer he released it I was never the same. 4 days later ER then 2 after that and now ER trip 43. This paid dizziness and wanting to puke steady is a normal day for me. Dr Mc dermit is trying g all he can. The bad it’s not a ordinary injury or disease. Whatever this guy did to me they can’t pick it up with our technology and I live an extremely painful life of hell. Hoping one day they find something. So far we know the nerves driving me crazy. Occipital nerves foresure damaged. He’s got me for a test they burn them somehow. Praying it helps some. I cry scream everyday cause I can’t handle the pain and on narcotic meds not even near enough to kill it but trying to get injections from pain clinic. I just wish I could again do things with my family. Our home is dead now. I was the love of the house. Adam physiotherapy and wellness ta ga Deeb owner ruined my only life I had. Dr Mc dermit is trying to fix it. He’s good go see him he hill do what he can.

Brendon Jones: Dr. Baker is an absolute gem of a family doctor. She's caring and clearly possesses a deep well of knowledge in her discipline. I live a 30 minute drive away but it's always worth the trek.

aldene tully: Met Dr Ben Malinowski in 1976 and had a very good relationship with staff and Dr for many years. My son is now 45 years old but I still remember my experience. Both Dr Malinowski and my son has the same birthday so I will always remember him on that day.

Christina Ignacio-Deines: Very happy with our GP Dr. Hansraj. She is very thorough, listens well, and follows up promptly. Their receptionist is also nice, speaks quickly, but good. I'm always able to get an appt when I need one, and the waiting room times are reasonable.

Mark Fetting: Staff are always professional. Dr. Butzelaar and Dr Chan are great to deal with. No issues with scheduling when needed. I have been coming here for at least 6 years. My parents 10+ years.
