Alhambra Books: what do users think?

Wes Thorpe: A really fine selection and a very helpful owner. I started getting in touch with other nearby bookstores when he didn't have what I was looking for. Top notch!

Ethan Sala: Excellent vibes, chaotic store. Perfect. Better than wee book inn that's for sure

L M: Great shop! Lots of selection!

BenRittenhouse: Great used book store. Huge selection and all prices are clearly written in pencil inside the front cover.

Zachary Day: Amazing local used book store with a huge variety of non-fiction texts and a very good selection of fiction. Located in a beautiful building

Alie Desrosiers: Was early for an appointment and decided to walk into this place as I love to read.Anyone who also loves to read, needs to stop in here! There is such an amazing selection and soo well organized. As I was going to another place after, and I saw soo many books I wanted to take home, I need to return and pick them up!

Emanuele Pezzani: but I’m being nitpicking: the selection is vast and well-organized and I will try to come here again soon!

Arielle Mavridis: This is a great used bookshop in Edmonton, and I would recommend this store to anyone who is looking for a good book, or even just in the mood for a nice place to meander around and browse on a hot day. I found the prices to be some of the best in the city for affordability and fair market value, they don't overcharge even though they easily could because independent bookstores are becoming more and more scarce. There were many rows of books, with shelves ranging from shoulder height, to some going all the way to the roof. I'm sure there is easily thousands of books to choose from, and I would definitely say this place is worth the trip.In the back area of the store, there is a display with tons of cool antique postcards from around the world, and I could help but buy some

Bethany Meyer: Quiet and cozy with a widespread collection of many different book topics, lots of interesting older unique finds. Walked in and found a book I had been looking at online the day before, so it was fate lol. Staff was polite and helpful. The music playing was also nice

A: Favourite used bookstore in the city!

Marie Griffin: Wonderful Gem of a bookstore just off whyte Ave

Jason G: Great selection of books, and always friendly staff.

Bryan Synn: Of course, it smells like a used bookstore, the smell of death. The store is organized and has plenty of books at a reasonable price. Just far enough off of whyte ave to actually have parking

Neiko C: Lots of good books and the owner is friendly and knowledgeable. I love this book shop.

The Edmonton Book Store: what do users think?

Mark Christopher: Many books on site, helpful owner. Most categories of books except for fiction. Good selection of Canadian, Alberta, and military history. Clean and organized.

kevin warner: what a great opportunity to fill all the bookshelves that I have to buy for the books I bought and the even more I hope to

Wes Thorpe: Managed to get half of my wish list taken care of right here! Very helpful owner, and a wonderful selection of books.

LuftxMiantiao: Absolutely fantastic book store!! Huge selection of every genre and the people working there are amazing and hilarious. The history and science sections are my favorite and they have one the largest selections I have seen for a used bookstore. I believe the gentleman said over 90,000 books in store.

Nicole Theriault: This bookstore is the best for odd books you can't find anywhere else- the staff are so helpful and nice

Sami James: It had the mesmerising smell of old books, and a bigger selection than you could ever imagine. The staff member that was working was a wonderful Englishman and was so kind and informative, it was an absolute pleasure to visit the shop.

Brad Best: Great selection of books. Incredible

Ryan: I buy most of my books here. Have so for a very long time. Everything is well kept and staff are always very friendly. Five stars all the way!!!

Annick Belanger: This is the best bookstore in Edmonton. Lots of non-fiction books, especially history.

Arielle Mavridis: This store is one of the, if not the, best used bookstore in the city of Edmonton and surrounding areas. The store itself is a maze of amazing books around every twist and turn, there are two floors (the basement being much smaller but just as packed full with books. You can find all sorts of rare, interesting, and unique books in this store. I went in for a quick browse and I ended up spending over an hour just browsing before I even began thinking about narrowing down my choices to buy something! I ended up walking out with a book, and as I was checking out I got to chatting with the store worker. According to him, within the store there are over 90,000 books! I believe it but my gosh you could be in this store all day and never read the same title twice. Definitely a great place to check out if you are looking for your next "new to you" book! This store is an amazing addition to the city of Edmonton, and I hope it remains one for years to come.

Fran Berry: I've been dealing with this store for years, and it's the best used bookstore I've ever found, with the best selection of non-fiction books I've ever seen. Simon, the store manager knows more about books than anyone I know and always brightens up the store with his charming and friendly personality. You can tell he loves his job!

Andrew Varze: Incredible selection

Mark Salomons: The owner was super helpful, they didn't have what I was looking for but suggested several other places in the city and even a website for used books.

Audreys Books Ltd: what do users think?

Dustin Banks: Always happy to support my local independent bookstore. The staff are great and always helpful. If they don't have what you need in stock just let them know and they'll find it for you.

jonathan culleton: Really nice small bookstore, very well considered selections in each section

Aimer R: I honestly was shook when I first entered the store. There’s endless selections from kids chapter books to psychology books. Additionally, the interior is comforting and the staff were super helpful too! This probably has to by my favourite book store in Edmonton!

kevin warner: having worked my way thru 4 bookstores to afford university and bookshelves I am so glad there is still an independent local place to buy new books

puoɯʎɐᴚ: Great selection of books & gifts! A safe haven for all book worms 🐛 📚

Sam Oboh: Nostalgic

Tarien Bezuidenhout: Wished I could have stayed a little longer and spend a little more money. It's a lovely store.

Ingvill Walmann: One of my favourite local bookstores! The staff is so friendly and helpful, and the selection is impeccable. I love coming here!

Jaya Chauhan: I love #yegdt and how delightful that Audreys Books continues to serve us in Edmonton given that bookstores are rare with Amazon taking the market! Helpful and friendly staff with availability of chairs to sit and browse books. I plan to call and order a book as I support local book stores being a book worm who boycotts Amazon. Audreys is much appreciated and may it continue to serve #YEG in time to come!

mystery evolves: Local downtown bookstore. Large selection. I just happened to drop by on a day there was a booksale on downstairs. I came unprepared with no bags. Luckily they have reusable bags for an affordable price.

Kara Boucher: that undercut local businesses. Absolutely wonderful place to visit for book browsing and buying. The staff truly care about the world of books and are always so helpful. They've always had what I'm looking for, and are able to order in if need be.

V Silk: A nice bookstore. I deducted one star because I wish they had more books I could checkout in person, and usually, you have to pay for parking if you're planning to stay more than 15 minutes.

Akash Jhand: A lots of books old and new

Karen Vanderwell: Always a wonderful experience

Catherine Griwkowsky: Best selection of kids books and toys. Great Canadiana/Albertan author offerings.

Michael Leenheer: I’ve bought books here before but strangely enough it’s a book I couldn’t get that’s prompting me to leave this 5-star review.I requested a book that is a few years old, and despite it no longer being available Audrey’s took the time to look for a copy, checked with the publisher to learn the status of any reprints, and kept me informed throughout. It’s been a couple months and they still were attentive enough to contact me with the status. It’s a treat to know places that care about their business and give personal service are still out there! Thank you.

I'm March I'd heard of a book that I really wanted but it was on pre-order and I could only find the UK release of the book online. I emailed and asked if they could pre-order it for me and they did!I just really love this place. The hours can sometimes be tricky but they also deliver!!

Miguel Malo: They offer online ordering with delivery and pick up options!

Charles Castro: I was able to visit this place because of the invitation of my coworker's daughter who is studying at this university. It was an alright place and a decent selection of books. I had a great time visiting the campus of the university as well, I had lots of time spent walking around the place. I'm thankful for my visit to the university and its bookstore too.

OGIE JOHN: The school is very understandable

Nayeem Naymullah: Alhamdulillah

Colby: The library here at Concordia is pretty great! While it is small it does have lots to offer and the people working here are always super friendly and ready to help. It is well organized and kept clean. There is also a bunch of university apparel for sale at good prices. The only downside is how many cashiers there are. During peak times and especially at the start of the semester it take forever to get through. Other than that it is great!

Nadine Chalifoux: Not completely easy to navigate for accessibility. I had to go back outside to get to the right section.
