Lesia Arneson: I had purchased a rather expensive leather bag from the US, within a week of use from poor design, the stitching came apart and I couldn't use it. I took it to David's Leather and he restitched the handles and added rivets to further secure the handles. I especially appreciated the attention to detail he made with selecting the rivets to match beautifully with the leather. He was very polite and prompt with his service. The pricing was very reasonable as well. I highly recommend and will definitely be a repeat customer for any future leather repairs I may need.

Sylvia Chrobak: Quality and prompt service. I have never had any issues with my shoe repairs here. I do realize they are a little pricier than other places in Edmonton, but I appreciate the convenience since I work 5 minutes away. Humberto is a very nice man and I think some of the reviewers here have completely taken his comments out of context. He does like to joke around and get to know his customers. I see nothing wrong with that. I do recommend the place and the workmanship.
Zoe Wagner: I brought in a pair of 10-year-old leather boots that had been totally destroyed by Edmonton winters and needed a complete resole. Humberto quoted me a reasonable price and showed me what they would need to replace on the boot. Not only were they ready in less than 3 days, when I came in to pick them up they were polished, brushed, and beautifully resoled past my expectations. Worth every dollar I spent for the degree of care and service provided.

He's repaired shoes that other Edmonton cobblers have told me to throw in the garbage, and made them as good as new.I've taken shoes to him for years, and he always fixed them perfectly. Even though U of A is now out of my way, I won't take my shoes to be repaired anywhere else.

In 1955, Pat DeLuca immigrated to Edmonton from Italy because of the great work opportunities available in Canada. In Italy, the DeLuca family was known for their generations of talented shoe making and repair skills. Pat worked in various shops his first years in Edmonton and mastered the 'modern methods' of shoe repair.
His skills attracted the attention of William "Pop" Kostiuk, an old master at shoe repairing and owner of Expert Shoe Clinic. Pop took an immediate liking to young Pat and a strong bond of friendship was quickly formed.
In just two short years, in 1961 Pat proved himself worth of Pop's skillful teaching and he was taken into full partnership of the Expert Shoe Clinic, located at 9922-101 Avenue.
In 1962, Pop decided to retire and he sold his interest in Expert Shoe Repair to Pat. Pat now had his own shop in Edmonton and realized his dream of being a 'sole' owner.
Business was booming and Pat decided to open a second location. In 1962, he opened a second shop at 10316-100 Street. He ran both locations until 1969, and them closed the 99 Street shop to improve quality control and customer relations. He stayed at the 103 Ave location until 1987, where he then moved around the corner to our current address of 10020-103 Avenue.

Ben Ciechanover: Great craftsmanship in adjusting the angle of the heels in my shoes, plus adding sole protectors to the leather soles. Their work was super smooth and well done, as if these shoes arrived from Crockett and Jones with these alterations.The total cost was about $85, which is an excellent price for their level of service. ShoeMaster has an outsole stitcher for those looking to resole their Goodyear welted shoes, whereas other cobblers in Edmonton either don't have a sole stitcher or just an insole stitcher for Blake welted shoes. They have multiple other leather sewing machines as well.Communication can potentially be an issue if you have a very specific or unique request, so if I were you I'd try to make your request as visually clear as possible.It was a pleasure doing business with these cobblers!

I have some very expensive and exquisite shoes and I never hesitate taking them to him as I know they're in good hands.
