There has only been one services call previously. we are out of warranty period, but some of the soft closers were not functioning properly. I called wanting to get new closers for a couple of problem doors. Tanis was very professional and pleasant said she had a service person in the area, she advised he could come that day, to come to check the issue, and fix if possible.The service man fixed the 2 doors with the problem closers He was professional, answered the questions and was quick.Even with the cabinets out of the warranty period, Towne and Countree did the work. Now 12 years later, out of warranty, some of the drawers had loose screws on the sliders. I called to get advice for new screws or how to fix the sliders. Tanis had a service man come to check the issue and fix if possible.The service man Richard fixed all the drawers with new longer screws He was professional, answered the questions and was quick. Wesley MacDonald: As an informed buyer, I began my kitchen renovation process fully anticipating engaging multiple vendors to obtain estimates for the services required, however after one visit to the Towne and Countree showroom I didn't phone another company. Our first meeting was with Greg and Tara, and within minutes we knew that this would be the company we would use. They knowledge and experience was apparent right from the beginning, and they continued to impress us with their flexibility, design ideas, and their enthusiastic personalities. Lynne Anderson: We were really happy with the work done by Quantum. The in-store staff were very helpful. They came out to measure and later install. The turn around was quick and the quality of the install was wonderful.

Tom Zaplachinski: The countertops are gorgeous. The service was fantastic. There were three stand-out parts of the service. The first is the price. The second is that they had sample cabinets with different wood colors in store, so we could put them against the sample stone in different lighting. They were also the only place that let us take a sample block of stone home with a small deposit so we could see it in the real lighting in our kitchen.There are two minor reasons they aren't 5 star, however. We needed a piece that was too large to be part of one slab so it has a seam. We discussed putting the seam by the sink but it isn't so it's very visible. Another is that the top of our dishwasher was secured to a particle board countertop before the new stone countertop. The replacement was made without discussing a problem with this to us, so now the dishwasher tips forward when you pull out the racks while they have stuff in them, and there's no real way to get at the security screws to fix it properly without cutting things apart again.

They had a bit of an accident which cracked the wooden bracket that holds the handrail going upstairs. John was contacted by one of the movers to see about repairing it and within a few hours John called me to see if he could help. He came by that evening, took the piece off and took it home assuring us that it would be fixed and reinstalled before we had to leave for our new home on the Thursday. True to his word, he brought the repaired piece back on Wednesday afternoon and reinstalled it. Tammy Biggs: We heard about Fresh Carpentry through a social media recommendation. We had previously been working with another contractor who was hired to install 3 new fiberglass doors. Unfortunately, this contractor damaged one of the doors while installing it and then left us hanging in the middle of the job, refusing to install our other doors. We were leaving for vacation two days after terminating the current contractor and needed this work done ASAP.I called John at Fresh Carpentry. After explaining our situation, and despite his very busy schedule, he came right over the next night, after a long work day and had a look at the scope of work required. He spent a lot of time in our home on that first visit, measuring and talking to us about the job. He explained in detail exactly what would be done to insure that the door installation was perfect. He was very understanding and empathetic to our current situation and was able to accommodate us at the last minute.From the moment I met John, I felt that he was honest, trustworthy and paid close attention to detail. We left for vacation and John installed the remaining two doors while we were away. I had no problem giving him access to our home while we were not there. He gave us a price on installing the doors and indicated the amount of time that it would take to complete the job. As it turned out, he ran into some problems with the installation, due to the settling etc. of our older home. John spent over 12 hours on the first day making sure that everything was perfect. He obviously did not plan on the job taking this long, however, he stuck firm to his quoted price. We were extremely happy with our doors and the quality of workmanship. We have a security system and had to order two new sensors for our new doors, which arrived after John had completed the install. Although this was not part of the initial quote, John came back to our home and installed the sensors for us and did not charge us.John was also able to come back to our home and reinstall the damaged door from the previous contractor. In the end, John charged us less than what we were quoted by the initial contractor and the quality of his work was far superior. I would highly recommend John and Fresh Carpentry. John is now doing some work for our son at his cabin and will soon be working with us to remodel our bathroom. You will be hard pressed to find a more dedicated, honest, hard-working contractor! John will go above and beyond to insure that his clients are happy and satisfied!Tammy

Conrad Jones: John stuns me with his Craftsmanship and attention to detail. I am very comfortable referring jobs to customers of mine I am unable to take on as he is always on point with them and gives them a high level of service with what I think may be one of the best finished products in the industry. He does everything to code or in many cases better than code, gets proper inspections and educates customers on the proper way to do things.

Doris Stoikopoulos: My Kitchen is complete and I love it! I tell my friends/family that it went from the ghetto to the penthouse! Love the openness, lots of counter space for touch points and prepping and includes a dishwasher. Jostar was very professional from design to final walk through. The design phase took a while - Joanna listened to what's not working and provided thoughts on what it could be. We were provided with a few designs to review and tailor before selecting the right one - seeing it in 3D gives an accurate snapshot of what the new space will look like - Worth the extra fee to get it right. I wasn't really sure what I wanted as far as cabinets or color, having the design team in the house asking alot of questions about how I use the space, seeing existing decor and matching it up was very helpful. Management of the trades was impressive - they arrived in the order they were to and what made me comfortable was the fact they knew each other, knew they work from working together on other jobs. They were all very timely, professional, friendly, and quality work. With management on site a few things were caught right away avoiding extra time/cost. There were some delays receiving product due to COVID shutdowns but regular updates kept me informed. With the countertop delay put a hold on everything else. Joanna searched for a similar local product for me to take a look at in case I wanted to change to keep the work progressing. I'm glad I waited as the initial order arrived sooner than expected. And the tiles - we viewed many a couple different times - they all looked the same - Joanna found one that was unique and looks amazing in my kitchen. Terri Drynan: We renovated our kitchen, starting the summer of 2019. Finished in Nov. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism, the service, the quick responses and our over all experience with Jostar. I will admit, you pay for what you get, and although it is a bit pricey when you are not GCing your own project, it was well worth it! I do not think we'd have our new kitchen had we not had Jostar do the design as my husband and I could not agree, so that alone was worth it. Have them come in and do the 3D design for you at minimum. But my opinion, it was well worth them taking over the project!!

Judy Miller: Joanna came laden with books of wallpaper. She heard what we wanted, narrowed our choices down to a few and supported our choice, which ended up to be perfect! Although it came at a cost, it solved our wall problem and turned it into a wonderful feature.

Marlene Brilz: Yes, I used Jostar way back in 1981 and had drapes and bedspreads made, all the colors and fabrics I choose were just right.This time in this place I had blinds, bedspreads and a curtain and verticals. The first gal that came out right away knew exactly what i liked as she heard me repeat shiny and sparkly so my bedspreads were perfect colored and sparkly in ivory and light beige brown, even my drape had sparkles and valances just how I imagined. Then Nicole came out as my rooms need some darkening and she picked the perfect colored blinds so I have everything completed now and everything is great. Thanks to the Jostar team.

Neil Glebe: We did a major renovation which included a new kitchen, removing walls, and adding new ones, had a new stair railing installed, matched hardwood to butt up to existing hardwood and had new drapes installed.Pat from Jostar consulted with us to come up with a design. We changed our minds a few times until we were completely satisfied with the design. Pat and the designer at Jostar were very patient with us and offered us 8 different alternatives that we were able to see in 3-D. Without their expertise and patience we would not have been able to achieve the results we did.Once the design was decided upon, our consultant Pat was amazing in helping us choose products and colors. She was quickly able to figure out our style. Without this assistance we would have been totally overwhelmed. We were provided with a estimate for the total project that included everything down to the smallest details. Because of this we were confident in proceeding as once the contract was signed we knew there would not be other charges as we went along.We were very impressed with the Jostar team and their contractors who completed the job promptly and professionally. We left and went on vacation while the work was done. Pat send us progress reports and pictures and when we arrived home the work was ahead of schedule. The workmanship was excellent in every trade. The workmen always showed when they were scheduled, they were polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves. Walls were removed and the ceiling matched perfectly, the hardwood was matched and installed very well. The cupboards and quartz countertops were installed very professionally. Jostar oversaw the whole project and were very thorough in their inspection of the work. Whenever there was anything that needed to be fixed they worked with the contractors to assure that in the end everything was done correctly. This project looks very professional.In the end we now have a terrific open floor design with a beautiful kitchen that opens up to our dining and living room. We are very happy with the end result. Everyone who has visited us have commented on the modern professional look and are blown away with the difference that this renovation made to our home.We definitely recommend Jostar, Pat who was our consultant and project manager, and the tradesmen that Jostar have working with them.
