Tokiwa Ramen: what do users think?

Josh Benoza: Place is always busy, but can get seated fairly quickly due to how fast service is.The food is very delicious and can’t go wrong with much on the menu. Seating area is very close together so not much privacy, if you want more of a quiet atmosphere.

Bobby B: Tokiwa is usually open until 3 or open until ingredients run out. I have had the tokyo tonkotsu as well as the black garlic. How I would describes tokiwa ramen is very balanced and almost lighter than other ramen restaraunts in town. It's flavourful and nothing is too over powering.

Al Can: I love this restaurant as it's a true gem. They open late and close early, serving an extensive menu that makes your mouth water. Despite the long queues, it's worth the wait as their hot ramens and bowl meals are heavenly. One dowside of this location is that it can be quite noisy and crowded, as it is a smaller space. When dining here, you may find yourself sitting close to your fellow patrons and cramped. Additionally, once you finish your meal, the servers are quick to clear your table as a signal that it's time to leave and make room for the next group waiting to be seated.

Olivia Shwetz: but they were out.We had the Spicy Miso Ramen

Michael Mose: Tasty Ramen!

Kazoku Ramen: what do users think?

Lucas Zadery: Recommended dishes Spicy Garlic Miso Ramen

Bobby B: Cool things about Kazoku, alot if the songs I heard in the restaraunt came directly from anime. Really Cool back drop of Godzilla as well. Bring sesame seeds for you to crush as well since it releases the oils in the ramen.Had the tonkotsu black and it was delicious. Noodle consistency was perfect, garlic broth tasted garlic by not overwhelming. Pork shoulder was also quite tender. One of the top tonkotsu blacks in town.Customer service can feel a little transactional and unfriendly.

Nic Daryl: Simply put. Edmonton's best ramen. This is the sort of place you will pass by a hundred times and barely notice, but, behind those unassuming doors it is like a magic space, where proficient and friendly staff will happily serve you ramen that will keep you coming back, again and again.Whether you want traditional ramen or dry ramen, the choices here are great and everything you order is delicious.Portions are large,so, bring your appetite!

T Eu: First time here and everything was delicious! We ordered a black garlic, spicy miso and vegetarian ramen. So rich and filling. Noodles were cooked perfectly and char siu was ultra tender. We also ordered yam tempura and that was so light and extra crispy not greasy at all and takoyaki was so crispy and cream tender in the inside. They always came to check on us and fill our water. They were friendly and inviting.Vegetarian options: Lots of options!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with seating and utensils for their sizeParking: Lots of free parking in front of the restaurant

Ramen Misoya Edmonton: what do users think?

Janice Chau: I got the deluxe tan tan noodles - It's a generous serving and some of the best ramen I've had. My waiter was very polite and attentive. There was a mixup that made my order take longer - but that's a normal thing to happen on occasion.Nice vibes for both solo diners and groups, and the restaurant was really busy on a Saturday night. It's a convenient location near the LRT station and a lot of downtown hotels.

Veronika So: and their chashu slices are pretty big compared to other places. We also love their skewers

Meghan Burt: Friendly service, came back twice. Very tasty food, but large servings.

C: Love the “gold” ramen! Always delicious, and even when you get it to go it arrives hot and the noodles keep their texture. The aroma is so irresistible, I have had people order from here because they smelled mine in the break room - that’s how good it is!

puoɯʎɐᴚ: Top Notch Michelin Guide Recommended Ramen!! 🍜First time I had the pleasure of trying a Michelin Star quality dish & Ramen in Edmonton! It was amazing! The service & atmosphere was great! The food quality was outstanding! Portion sizes was large & generous! Flavor combos for the Veggie Ramen was very unique & scrumptious! Would definitely not sleep on this place, and will return to in a heart beat if the opportunity arises!Edit: I came back & order the same dish! The Gold Veggie Ramen 🍜 - the best combo is to have a bowl of rice on the side! Add an egg, nori & you are set up for success! Hands down WAYY better than the Montreal location 📍

Hari Khalsa: Delicious ramen right off ice district. Worth a stop to check out flavorful plays on fusion foods and the deep deliciousness of the amazing ramen bowls. If you are driving in from outside the city core, parking can be had all around. I don't live in the downtown so parking costs extra on the day. The food and service were well worth it. The surroundings are comfortable and promote you taking the time you'll need to go get a full bowl in you. The music selection had us chatting for sure, part of the experience.Tasty, and like all dining out options these days, a treat if not a tax on the pocket books. Would definitely be back to try the other things I didn't, which all looked delicious.Kid-friendliness: Bring them! They love new flavors.Parking: Lots around, just expensiveWheelchair accessibility: Tight door space, but accessible

Thomas Borreson: both have a great depth of flavour. So, it's definitely pretty good for Edmonton

Malvika Chandnani: Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options under each category of food - appetizers, sushi, rolls - name any of them.

Hannah: Food was delicious, ESPECIALLY their salmon sashimi! The salmon karaage was not what we were expecting and could do with a little more flavour but still good. We tried the green tea cheesecake and the strawberry mochi ice cream and they were so yummy and not too sweet! The servers were great and very friendly. A tad pricy but it's on par with other prices at Japanese restaurants nowadays

Sapporo Ramen and Bubble Tea: what do users think?

Joe Tolvay: !

Sean McDonald: Great little Ramen place on the northside. The Hong kong milk tea was perfect.Recommended dishes Miso Ramen, Beef Ramen …

Elena: Went for a late night snack here, and got the tan tan ramen and the seafood udon with the miso broth! Both were so delicious. Miso broth was perfectly salty and the tan tan had a nice warming spice!! The lady at the front counter was very nice and helped us pick our options. The decor was adorable and the prices were completely fair! I'd love to come again soon.

Sherisse Gusnoski: I’ve eaten here four times via delivery and every time has been delicious. I love that they pack the broth separately so things don’t spill for takeout, and their tonkatsu soup W black truffle oil is amazing 🤤My favourite comfort food is now their soup & a pina colada bubble tea!

Asian Springroll: I have eaten in 3 times. Staff are always nice to me. I enjoyed the ramen soup. They have bbt too there.I have ordered many times on skipthedishes. Always comes hot and in time. There's a tim hortons next to it too. I have never had a bad experience here.

Hailey Parsons: The tonkatsu ramen was very creamy, and a good level of salty. I added black garlic oil to it and it was very nice. Always happy to see when restaurants marinate their eggs! The bean sprouts they put in it gives it a nice texture as well. The noodles weren’t anything spectacular, but overall a delicious meal!

Bryce: This is my favourite Japanese restaurant on the Northside. The ramen is so good and the bubble tea is very tasty. I'm excited to go back and try some of their appetizer menu items. The woman at the front counter is so friendly and nice. Great spot for dine in or takeout.Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly.

Asian Springroll: I been here about 3 times. There was an old man there that served and cooked for us. He was very nice and I enjoyed the food. If you give this place one star. You probably have a small dink.

Gabrielle R: Tasty Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. Tastes fresh. Great owner

V Heacock: was still so juicy and tender, and with the nice crisp, it really complimented everything. The curry itself

LLek: 10/10. I’ve been ordering at uber eats food comes in a right temperature, good amount and tastes so good. Went in for a dine and definitely would come back! The owner seems really nice and welcoming. One of the most underrated restos in whyte ave, please support this business!♥️

Alex B: Went to this place for the first time today after I’ve been on a bit of a ramen binge the past couple weeks and I’m happy to say I think I’ve found my new favourite spot! Cozy little restaurant with delicious food, cheap prices, and a super friendly worker/cook. Will be back again soon for the Tonkotsu! 🍜

Bobby B: is so creamy, filled with umami and delicious. The bacon gives it such a savory taste as well.Shacka shacka fries are like mcdonald fries, stuck in a bag with shacka shacka seasoning and than mixed. It's sweet, salty and filled with umami and crispy.

Alex K: Dorinku is one of my all time favourite restaurant’s. The pressed salmon sushi is very good and the carbonara udon, is probably my favourite dishes to try. The calamari and chicken skin was pretty good as well for appetizers. The employees are very welcoming and gives it that authentic Japan vibe when you walk in.Parking: Has a strip of parking, if its not busy its not bad parking

Sydney Rayne: delicious food and service is always great! the pressed salmon sushi roll is sooo tasty. as well as the chicken udon! great flavour.

Geoffrey Parlby: This was our go to place for all you can eat sushi. Went there today and it's closed permanently

Chocopie: . I will give the the staff the benefit of the doubt, as there was another group 10+ and a group of at least 8 as well. I offer advice to others who plan to come to this restaurant. Come with a smaller group

Henry Vu: I think the All You Can Eat menu completed revitalized this place. You get to choose 30 pieces of sushi, a bunch of different rolls, a Poke bowl, 1 grilled option, 1 deep fried option, 1 main and UNLIMITED appetizers/soup/salad for only $40.*Food*- Sushi: Delicious for the price. Fish wasn’t the freshest but you could always use the grill to enhance the flavor. The butterfish and salmon tasted amazing. Not a fan of the red snapper and tuna.- Beef Tataki: Beef was nicely seasoned. Could replace the weird seaweed with 1/2 pieces of fruit. I personally like more citrus in the sauce.- Miso soup: A little too much miso.- Rolls/Hand rolls: Very delicious, nicely seasoned and all had great combination of different flavors.- Short Ribs: Lacked saltiness/umami and was overly sweet.- Drinks: They have great cocktails.I had a blast overall. There were MANY options to choose from and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The AYCE menu is highly recommended

Denys Zhadan: Recommended dishes Miso Soup, Beef Tataki, Mango Roll, Dragon Roll, Tempura Shrimp 8pcs, California Roll, Soup

Emil Yim: An intriguing culinary experience that combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant's all-you-can-eat menu is a highlight, offering a decent array of options that cater to diverse palates. The soup selection is particularly commendable, with four distinct varieties. Each soup is a testament to the kitchen's ability to balance ingredients and create harmonious dishes that warm the soul. However, the grill selection at Soleilki is somewhat limited, which may leave those seeking a more extensive range of grilled delicacies slightly disappointed. The curry udon was also swimming in grease which upon consumption, immediately unsettled the stomach. In conclusion, Soleilki Japanese Fusion Kitchen + Bar offers a dining experience worth exploring. The fusion of traditional and contemporary elements in its menu, coupled with the restaurant's commitment to quality, makes it a noteworthy addition to Edmonton's dining scene.Parking: Pay attention to paid parking hours

Jasmine Hafso: This place is nicely decorated and has a very calming atmosphere. The pacific roll is delicious. They have a great variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. The cocktails here are also very flavourful. One of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton!

Nix S: I took my friend here for his birthday as he was craving for sushi. This place is a hidden gem on Whyte Ave. The food was amazing, and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even came out of their way to make a treat for my friend. Thank you for the great experience, we will definitely be back. And I will recommend you to everyone that I know.

Kay Liew: Quick Edit: Don't forget that they close in the middle of the afternoon to prep for dinner service. They have last call 15 min before they officially close. I been caught a couple times now by it. Check the hours here for thier service hours!Definitely great food, to honestly I mostly come here for Ramen, Always a consistent experience, the food is super delicious and brings me great joy. I usually try to get something different every time. Try out thier seasonal drink menu as well! The staff is super friendly, and helpful with the menu, delicious food.

David Duong: I got the tonkotsu ramen and it was actually a very solid bowl of ramen. The broth was yummy and creamy, exactly what you want out of tonkotsu ramen. There were an abundance of toppings, only thing missing was an egg which is an add on and worth.I got extra cha shu, which was very unnecessary as the given portions are more then enough. The cha shu itself was good, nothing special but its your standard cha shu.Which isn't a bad thing as "standard" cha shu is actually more uncommon then it seems. My companion got the Buta Kakuni, which for some reason had different cha chu that was much more deliciousDefinitely will come back again, the food other then ramen seem tasty as well.I tie Nomiya as my top ramen place with Menjiro.

Let's Grill Sushi & Izakaya: what do users think?

David Duong: Got the Miso ramen, comes with meat, seaweed, corn and an egg.Oddly enough they dont have regular Tonkotsu ramen on their menu. The broth was savory and the noodles were good. The highlight of this restaurant's ramen is definitely the cha shu meat.Very flavorful and seared well, I definitely reccomend getting extra meat. The egg was unmarinated but cooked well. The portions however were a bit lacking, I found myself only relatively full and I even drank all the broth.Coming here was a nice experience, glad I tried it.But if I ever did come here for ramen again, it would just be for the meat.Otherwise there are other ramen places I would rather go.

Jennylyn Villagen: Very good ramen one of the best ramen I had and the staff is nice

Cee Gee: I love the unagi rice bowl. It’s everything in it.The sushi doesn’t taste like fresh compared to other Japanese restos that I’ve been to but it was still good.

Janny Nguyen: The katsu curry and salmon oishi roll was absolutely delicious! The grilled stuff was also really good, especially the Lamb. Would definitely be back!

Taylor Bauwens: Always great food for a great price.

mireille cumine: I can't speak to the other food so much because I only ever have gotten the spicy ramen but holy moly is it good! The service is great. Food is delicious. I could drink that broth with a straw just nothing but broth. It's so good. The tra is really yummy too and the tea pot it came in is really beautiful and now I want one just like it.

Eriq Collantes: Always good food and service. Still one of the best for service and quality

Darryl Molloy: I absolutely love this place! Fantastic food and great value for the money. What's not to like?!Oh wait, there's more! As with almost all of my reviews, it's the staff who either make or break the customer experience.Incredibly kind, funny and a true delight to interact with the staff here. With every visit, they reinforce why I will be a lifelong customer. Great food, great value and fantastic people! Can't recommend this business highly enough!

joe blondin: Top notch sushi every time i come here! Consistently amazing food plus super friendly staff makes it easily one of my favourite places to have a night out. Shaira was a real delight, great service!

alma angeles: . The presentation was good and most importantly, everything tasted great. Yum! Ambience is really cool. I love the decor and the music and the vibe, it really set the mood. Most of the customers we spoke to were pleased too. Staff was very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly, they were very eager to serve in any way they can. Parking was spacious. You couldn’t ask for more. Thanks, Maki Maki!❤️❤️

Anne Angeles: The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We came in on Sunday and it got a little busy but our waitress remained a good host. We ordered what we would typically get at other Japanese restaurants, expecting the standard smaller servings we are used to seeing nowadays and were completely blown away when our plates were brought out. There was so much food. To give you an idea, the beef tataki was on a large square plate and the serving was easily three times as much as what I’ve seen from other Japanese restaurants. The dragon eyes were about two times the size of what I’m used to as well. We also got the spicy tuna rolls, agedashi tofu, a bento box, and deep fried squid. Everything was well cooked and tasted great. Definitely coming back to enjoy the service and the food. Highly recommended!

Manchi Lo: I have been coming here for over 12 years and I have had my birthday celebrations here too because of the awesome food, excellent hospitality, quick service and friendly staff. They have renovated their restaurant to keep it fresh and beautiful too. They have great photo backgrounds to take with friends and a private room for gatherings too. They are open late so it's perfect for post shows at the northern Jubilee too or after any concert or game. The staff make you feel like family and remember your order and what you like. There have a delicious variety of Vietnamese and Japanese food. The pho and sushi rolls with sashimi are a few of my favorite. I definitely recommend to come here and go plan your next special occasion here.
