Marc D.: I had a fairly pleasant first time buyers experience at Barbecue Country. It was time for a replacement of my nearly 20 year old Broil King BBQ, so I started shopping around. Luckily for me, Barbecue Country had a 10% off sale on in stock Broil King grills and accessories. After doing a bit of online research, I called in and asked a couple of questions about the Baron 420 Pro model. They answered all my questions and even put one on hold for me for 15 days to ensure that I got the discount once I got a chance to come into the store to further look at it. Once at the store I had some additional questions, including about the Broil King warranty. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive and answered all my questions. They are also not commission based, as an FYI. My only issue was that during checkout, the staff member forgot to apply the 10% discount to the Broil King accessories and has just applied it to the grill. Once I asked about it, she checked and refunded me the amount.As a customer, you definitely need to do a bit of research beforehand when it comes to BBQ's, as the warranties are different between grill models, especially when it comes to Broil King. The difference in price between the Baron 420 Pro and Crown 420 Pro models was only $90 at the time, but the warranties are quite different with the Baron being covered top to bottom for 15 years, and the Crown being less. You must also understand that any issues with the grills themselves will need to be taken up with the manufacturer, as Barbecue Country is only a distributor/seller. Sure they have a parts department, but why would you pay out-of-pocket for the parts when the manufacturer is obligated to ensure that you have a grill that's operating properly I'd under warranty.I'll definitely be recommending Barbecue Country to my family and friends.

Jason Sichkaryk: I bought a Louisiana-Grills Kamado from BBQ country early June 2023. I hadn't owned a charcoal or Kamado grill before.I was really happy with the experience I had with the sales guy. He was friendly and knowledge and I felt like he was telling me the straight goods and not BS'ing. I thought prices in the store for all of the accessories I needed were also fair.What impressed me the most is that my grill developed an issue a couple weeks after I bought it. One of the seals was starting to come loose. My wife phoned the service team at BBQ country. They asked for some photos and then they took care of it. They kept us informed about ETA's and sent a couple of people to our house to fix the problem.Many small positive things have turned me into a loyal customer.

Mark Whetstone: The two gentlemen in the Parts Department are so knowledgeable and helpful regarding Weber BBQs. Harrison used his sleuthing techniques to confirm the model of one of our three Weber models and knew the part we needed. The other gentleman, sorry I do not recall his name, kindly called when a part had arrived. BBQ Country is fortunate to have team members who know the products exceptionally well. One can also find an amazing range of useful accessories that make the BBQ experience even better. Kudos!

Amber Vleeming: I LOVE my new Green Mountain Grill! We got the Jim Bowie Elite model with all the accessories. Set up was so simple, I was able to do almost all of it on my own except lifting it once the legs were on. It is crazy easy to use!! The manual has all the information you need but they also have fantastic YouTube tutorials. I highly recommend you look up GMG recipes as they have more then you could ever imagine. I can’t stop cooking! I am so mad I didn’t buy one of these years ago! Thank you BBQ to go for all your help! You have been nothing but helpful and fantastic to deal with!

I’ve been travelling to south Edmonton every time I need bbq supplies not anymore. Definitely my new go to, the staff was friendly and helped with personal recommendations. Stop by and check them out next time you’re in need of rubs or sauces you won’t be disappointed.

After doing so I still had questions which the expert staff answered for me.Finally, their willingness to step up with service, as a small local business, is exactly why we all should support these kinds of operations. The Backyard Grills folks were kind enough to deliver my grill for me — to my St. Albert address — free of charge. Nobody else would provide that kind of service.Backyard Grills has earned my support for the long-term. We decided that it would be best to have Bill come out and do a full service check. He was able to get it up and running in no time, and checked all the lines, etc. to make sure it was safe. Very happy with the quick turn around.

And new Jotul fireplace looks great.
