Indian Fusion - The Curry House: what do users think?

R X: Another real one closed down...

Luciano Silva: Great little spot on Whyte. Highly recommend. The owners are super nice people. The coconut naan is the best thing ever. Will return for sure.

The Reformater: The food was great and the owners were very kind!

Catherine: I just read that the ownership has changed or something? The restaurant definitely does not have the same vibe it once did. I was worried, but the taste of the butter chicken is exactly the same and I enjoyed it very much. The portions seemed a bit smaller and I was disappointed that there was no tamarind chutney for the samosas. But otherwise, it was what I was craving! My favorite Indian place in Edmonton.

Yasmin Kapadia: Best foodGreat serviceTop notch ambienceYou are treated royallyBest in Edmonton and areaChef created wonderful cuisine ❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: Tasty vegetable cuisine are prepared upon requestKid-friendliness: Chef made special menu for kids. They loved food so much, they were able to finish their portion with smiley faceParking: So many meter parking and other options are not too fatyWheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair friendlyDietary restrictions: Best place for VEGAN eateryMeat options are too good

Asifa Krystofiak: Our first time eating the cuisine.. Chef Ali doesn't disappoint with his culinary skills! A touch of spice...a hint of exotic ...the menu is both exciting and enticing! People of the world.... eat here! This little resto on Whyte is a find! ❣Vegetarian options: A variety of vegetarian dishes are avaiable on the menu.Parking: Busy area but free parking around the block.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a wheelchair ramp.

Raffat Ramji: Went to an event at the Indian Fusion The Curry House. Amazing and very inviting ambience. Very friendly and good service. The food was delicious. The Honey glazed cauliflower is a must try, malai chicken and beef kababs were very moist and delicious and also the lamb biryani was also very good. And to end it with delicious kheer and house chai. Will be going back for more.

Ruhee (Rubies Bras): Excellent food and atmosphere. Incredible Renos. We celebrated a birthday and we’re able to rent out a section with a live band. Plenty of veggie and vegan options as well. Great times! Thank you!

Geoffrey Parlby: This was our go to place for all you can eat sushi. Went there today and it's closed permanently

Chocopie: . I will give the the staff the benefit of the doubt, as there was another group 10+ and a group of at least 8 as well. I offer advice to others who plan to come to this restaurant. Come with a smaller group

Henry Vu: I think the All You Can Eat menu completed revitalized this place. You get to choose 30 pieces of sushi, a bunch of different rolls, a Poke bowl, 1 grilled option, 1 deep fried option, 1 main and UNLIMITED appetizers/soup/salad for only $40.*Food*- Sushi: Delicious for the price. Fish wasn’t the freshest but you could always use the grill to enhance the flavor. The butterfish and salmon tasted amazing. Not a fan of the red snapper and tuna.- Beef Tataki: Beef was nicely seasoned. Could replace the weird seaweed with 1/2 pieces of fruit. I personally like more citrus in the sauce.- Miso soup: A little too much miso.- Rolls/Hand rolls: Very delicious, nicely seasoned and all had great combination of different flavors.- Short Ribs: Lacked saltiness/umami and was overly sweet.- Drinks: They have great cocktails.I had a blast overall. There were MANY options to choose from and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The AYCE menu is highly recommended

Denys Zhadan: Recommended dishes Miso Soup, Beef Tataki, Mango Roll, Dragon Roll, Tempura Shrimp 8pcs, California Roll, Soup

Emil Yim: An intriguing culinary experience that combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant's all-you-can-eat menu is a highlight, offering a decent array of options that cater to diverse palates. The soup selection is particularly commendable, with four distinct varieties. Each soup is a testament to the kitchen's ability to balance ingredients and create harmonious dishes that warm the soul. However, the grill selection at Soleilki is somewhat limited, which may leave those seeking a more extensive range of grilled delicacies slightly disappointed. The curry udon was also swimming in grease which upon consumption, immediately unsettled the stomach. In conclusion, Soleilki Japanese Fusion Kitchen + Bar offers a dining experience worth exploring. The fusion of traditional and contemporary elements in its menu, coupled with the restaurant's commitment to quality, makes it a noteworthy addition to Edmonton's dining scene.Parking: Pay attention to paid parking hours

Jasmine Hafso: This place is nicely decorated and has a very calming atmosphere. The pacific roll is delicious. They have a great variety of dishes at very reasonable prices. The cocktails here are also very flavourful. One of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton!

Nix S: I took my friend here for his birthday as he was craving for sushi. This place is a hidden gem on Whyte Ave. The food was amazing, and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even came out of their way to make a treat for my friend. Thank you for the great experience, we will definitely be back. And I will recommend you to everyone that I know.

I loved their yummy pho noodles, tender chicken and rice and crispy spring rolls. my dessert came quite late but I can understand this because there were so many other happy diners. My dessert was friend banana with ice cream and it was great as well. Good price for yummy foodKid-friendliness: They have an ample-sized room with a round table for diners with little babies or kids.

Shogun Fusion: what do users think?

dudethatscomplex: Great service and even better food!

Kalyshia Lalande: Ordered for delivery. Best damn spicy tuna roll I’ve ever had. Cannot wait to go in person one day and experience the rest of the menu. Absolutely blown away. The pho chef recommended special was incredible and they take such care in their packaging and the portion size was incredible. I am so so happy that I tried this for delivery 10/10 will recommend just based off of this experience. Fresh, flavourful, tasty, delicious. What more could I need. Thank you, Shogun Fusion.

Erica boberica: Shogun downtown just off Jasper Avenue was my first ever Sushi experience in Edmonton almost 20 years ago.I haven't been back since before the goofy Pandemic.Went back tonight. Still just as good! Clean. Friendly quick service. Really good valueRecommend the all you can eat. You can pretty much get everything from the menu including some viet and western choices. Steal of a deal for $39.95.YUM! GO THERE!

Nathaniel Khallil: My fiancé and I just had lunch here! Despite some of the comments/reviews made about the chicken, I found nothing wrong with the taste. That said, the lemon grass beef was incredible.I have not been to every Vietnamese or Japanese restaurant, fusion or not, in Edmonton yet as a base line for my opinion; however, this was easily the most delicious beef I have eaten in Edmonton in months. To be clear, I'm not suggesting that other restaurants in Edmonton do not also have nice Japanese food or serve poor quality food. The meat served to me was just so delicious, that Shogun will easily be my first choice when I invite guests/friends or family out for dinner going forward. I am usually quite picky with meat when I eat out, too.Next time, I'll give the pork a try as well, but do yourself a huge favour and try the lemon grass beef when you visit. The thin strips of beef were thinly cut, charred wonderfully and packed with flavour. I had it is part of a main menu offering, but regretted not ordering the AYCE specifically because of how darn delicious the beef was once I learned it was available for AYCE, too.

Emil Yim: Shogun Fusion, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of downtown Edmonton, is a culinary revelation. Despite being open for just a year, this restaurant has managed to create a dining experience that transports you straight to Japan, right from the heart of Alberta. The interior design is a marvel, beautifully capturing the essence of Japanese aesthetics. It's a setting that perfectly complements the food, which is nothing short of exceptional. The Takoyaki, a must-try, is delightful when savored hot. The beef teppanyaki are a standout, tender and beautifully seasoned, their enticing aroma of Japanese BBQ filling the air as they arrive at your table. The beef tataki, subtly marinated, allows the quality of the beef to shine through. An unexpected find on the all-you-can-eat menu is Pho. While the soup base may not be the star of the show, it's an interesting addition that showcases the restaurant's fusion approach. The sushi rolls are a highlight, offering a variety of complex flavors that are as pleasing to the palate as they are to the eye.The owner's warmth and friendliness add to the overall experience, making you feel welcome and valued. Despite the slight misstep with the Pho, Shogun Fusion delivers a dining experience that is truly worthy of a 5-star rating. It's a must-visit for anyone seeking an innovative Japanese dining experience in Edmonton.

Min Chong: Amazing! Always great service. My husband and I have been coming here for special occasions for over 10 years. It's been a while since we've been back last, but it's still a great time.Went for the All-you-can-eat dinner and it was SO GOOD!! Great variety, great quality. Definitely recommend! Perfect date night

Filistix Downtown - Filipino Restaurant in Edmonton: what do users think?

John Palfrey: This review is based on their awesome Food Truck during the 2023 Fringe festival! This is the Only Food Truck I plan on visiting! The service is Outstanding with the most cheerful people ever! Very polite and informative in what is being served! The food is extremely delicious and the presentation is awesome! They keep their area clean and tidy! They like to add new items to their menu of goodies! Never ending delights! The experience is totally awesome and I seriously recommend this location! As well as their Fringe location!

Ailynn Wong: because they're super yummy!Beautifully built location downtown and a good stop for weekend brunch or dinner.

Sosyal Scoops: .The owners and the team are extremely hard workers who put all the love into their food, their team and their business. Recommend the restaurant and their trucks for your catering needs.

M P: I have experienced Filistix multiple times in multiple ways -- at their restaurant and through different menus/venues with their food truck. I once watched a documentary on Filipino food in NYC and they said it best when they said that Filipino food is about nostalgia and competes with your family's way of doing things. I think Filistix does a good job of staying true to the idea of a dish, elevating it and just making things damn tasty. I am thankful that I get my fix for when I want a Filipino breakfast, when I miss the street food I grew up with and when our food is celebrated in a new iteration. More power to you guys -- ya'll make my heart and tummy happy.

Christopher YEUNG: Absolutely amazing food and service! A unique authentic experience that was fantastic for our large group. It’s a small restaurant but the atmosphere is great and the staff is very attentive. They offer catering and takeout so if you want great Filipino food for your office or next gathering, I would highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back!

Bobby B: . Both the meal and his service was awesome. The bowl cones with a ground beef, Cole slaw, and rice. Love the Cole slaw with raisins gives the meal a nice sweetness to it. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Elva Fay: and neither of us liked it very much. Good overall not the best we’ve had from Filistix.

Katrina Lazo: As a Filipina, I'm usually very picky about going to Filipino restaurants. In previous experiences, other places try too hard to fuse western comforts and Filipino cuisine, but lose the traditional tastes. However, Filistix has done a fantastic job staying true to Filipino flavours, which showcases how awesome Filipino culture is.I would recommend ordering the pork adobo and leche flan for dessert.... So good!Service was excellent! Our host was friendly, funny, on top of our orders. The atmosphere was great- clean, nice decor, good music.

Sherry Boerefyn: Had an amazing meal here. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend. The twice fried pork was to die for!

Ar: Booked a ticket for their Mother's Day brunch and we were not disappointed! Brunch was great with garlic fried rice, longanisa, bangus, tosino, corned beef, Lechon, beef tapas, etc. The mango fili tea was delicious too! Service was top notch as everyone was super nice, accommodating, and were always around to refill our drinks. This was actually our first experience at filistix and we'll definitely be back for the normal menu. Thanks for a great Mother's Day!Parking: There is tons of parking close by down 106th st and 107st street. Expect to pay if you are around during peak times but we only paid about a $1 per hour.

Sandra Chen: What fantastic food but what incredible staff/management! They were so accommodating of our 2 boys on mother's day. Excellent spot for families and their buffet today was fantastic. There's no place to brunch but here, beats all the other basic brunch options and spots!

Bailey R: .-A happy customer of 7+ years

Jade Connors: flavours that I get to look forward learning about as I try new dishes. The staff if so friendly and warm. I got to try their food at a community Asian event - these folks put their warm hearts not only in the spirit of their food but back into the community with love.Make reservations, they get busy, and I hope you can see from my photos why. Do yourself a favour and try this place out. You’ll be back sooner than you think 😅

Dan Hansen: We got the spicy pork and took it to a nearby park to eat. All we talked about during the meal was how good it was.

Miriam Stipanicic: The food rocked! You need to try this place!

Ben: Huge portions for a great price. The squid rice bowl was amazing

Divine Siffy: Above and beyond customer service! Great place to go grab a quick bite. Bulgogi rice is amazing, great value and portions. They’re open late night so definitely recommend for a late night bite.

edmonton ab: Excellent bulgogi

Audric Moses: . Ordered 2 spicy pork and 2 bulgogi beef bowls. Lots of food, at a reasonable price. I preferred the flavour of the pork bowl. Beef was sweet without any heat -- would be great for kids! Would definitely order here again. Shop local!

Irene Handiyanto: We ordered Jeyuk rice bowl and Oden, it's delicious!

Thanks: Good food so go eat. Sadly not open all the time but yummy as hell

Ellie: Super cute little place, kind staff, amazing late hours, lovely small selection of dishes and they offered us tea while we waited! Will definitely be back.♥️Update, I suggest getting everything except the potstickers/dumplings. We went back and ordered those and they are literally just the exact ones they obviously bought from Costco with the same sauce but waaaay more expensive. Stick to the in house made foods.

Cassandra George: Looooove Rice 101, its my new favourite Korean food restaurant. I've tried several rice bowls and they've never failed to please. Also, I had the kimchi jjigae stew on a rainy day and it completely hit the spot. I keep coming back whenever I'm in the area!

Jason Rutledge: Wow! This place was great! Khan was our server. She was nice, speedy with service and the food was amazing! Green curry and pad thai! Will definately be back!

Tyler Johnson: The ambience of this restaurant is what drew me inside. It has a good assortment of pho and there are fresh fruit drinks. The large bowls are huge, so order a normal size unless you are extremely hungry. I highly recommend the fresh jackfruit drink. I tried #21 the spicy hue soup, the meat portions were massive.

Amber: ! Awesome vermicelli. All available bathrooms are gender neutral.

Victor Cuevas: Excellent food, excellent people!!

GeeWhiz GeeMicheal!: Staff are friendly and the food is great, portions are big, wouldn't recommend the large pho unless you are ravenous or want some leftovers for dinner! Weekdays from 1 to 5 is 15%off too so you can have a big lunch for a good price!

Dang Good Restaurant: what do users think?

Yolly Ann Monteon: We went here because of good reviews. We wanted to try it out ourselves because we love vietnamese food. Glad we did because we never regreted it. Food was absolutely delicious! Aside from the good service, their clean utensils, plates, glass and condiment bottles made our dining experience really good. We will be back for sure.

R Lowther: , great selection of vegan dishes as well as meat. Server was great, he so nicely explained how to make the Vietnamese iced coffee, and made sure we knew the after dinner candies were vegan. One warning: dishes labeled spicy are indeed SPICY! Next time I will choose a mild one. And there will be a next time!

Jessica K: The cutest little restaurant with amazing service. Food was delicious, with many vegan options.Vegetarian options: The whole back side of the menu is vegan dishes, very similar to the front side of the menu, but vegan version.Dietary restrictions: Many vegan options and also many gluten free options available

Matthew Schafer: The name says it all! Vegan, vegetarian, AND meat options to satisfy the entire group. The food is amazing only topped by the efficient ever smiling service. I have been told the spring rolls are amazing!Vegetarian options: Owner understands and cares about different dietary needs.Parking: Sometimes busy parking lot

Joel Trinh: . Great pho broth. The mussels for the coconut pho were a bit briny but the broth was really unique and tasty. Only issue I would say is the portions are a bit small. If you're a big eater, you would probably need two bowls or extra noodles to fill you up. The service was great though and they were great with our kids! Would definitely recommend a try!

Paul Fike: Diverted into this place on a whim while waiting for the light at the 118th Avenue traffic circle and felt hungry. What a find! Ordered the prawn salad rolls and the Six Colour Bowl. The bowl was an absolute work of art. So flavourful! To rebuke the previous reviewer who complained about the portion size: There was more than enough meat and fixings in the bowl. I felt full when I left the restaurant and I'm a 300 pound guy. What did you expect for $21? This isn't Texas! Also, your review is flat-out racist. Maybe you should move there.

R X: Fish aesthetic. Little kids with iPad near counter. Table smells like Viet import. How much more authentic can you get? Top 3 Edmonton bun bo hue and pho restaurants

Karrilyn Carpenter: Best pho in edmonton! Always fresh and delicious. Service is always friendly!Update- have spent over 6 years coming here. We are treated like family. It's such a treat to come to this family run restaurant. Staff are always friendly, happy, and helpful. Food has maintained its 😋 deliciousness!!! I recommend this place to all my friends and family!!

Shane W: Wow, wow, wow! I just had the most amazing meal at Dang Good Restaurant! They serve authentic Vietnamese cuisine that is fresh, flavorful and satisfying. The service was super quick and friendly, and the pho was out of this world! I loved the rich broth, the tender noodles and the aromatic herbs. It was like a symphony of flavors in my mouth. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Vietnamese food or wants to try something new and exciting. Dang Good Restaurant is truly dang good!

Janice Overend: . Service is amazing, place is beautiful, food is delicious.Parking: The lot out front is usually full during peak times, but lots of street parking, paid just off Jasper, or free a block or two north of Jasper.Wheelchair accessibility: Half their restaurant has a raised floor, but they have several booths and tables available with no elevation change.

Cassidy Capper: is amazing and their food truly delivered! It was super tasty and gave a good portion for one person. Their TNT roll, and anchovy garlic edamame was to die for. I 10/10 recommend. However, I have only tried their food through 3rd party delivery apps so I cannot vouch for their atmosphere and service, but I would definitely give it a go having tasted their delicious food.

Elaine: Christine, is an amazing manager! She’s hard at work, running very smoothly, great experience, ensuring customers are happy! The staff is super friendly, delivering excellent service. Chefs make excellent sushi and delicious and artistic dishes! Love this place in Windermere, will come again, especially the Tuesday’s $1 salmon sashimi!

Carly Marie: Cute little spot with a fair sized menu. The portions were great, with amazing flavour. Great little space to meet a friend or take someone on a causal date.Vegetarian options: Limited options for vegetarians, the Yam rolls were a win though.

Love Your Back: We were close in the area when I had a craving for sushi.. after a quick google search this place came up with great reviews and decided to walk in. We were greeted right away, had to wait a few mins for a table but we’re put in one of the rooms: I’m always afraid of out of sight, out of mind.. but we were looked after! Also if they offer you complimentary miso soup, get it! It was warm & yummy! I’m more of a traditional sushi gal, I don’t care much for fancy rolls, so what I ordered was negitoro maki, salmon maki, dynamite & California rolls.. everything was fresh, rolled tight & pretty wasabi flowers. Yummm! We will return!

Yeh Warren: Chicken karaage curry is awesome!

Daniel Jimenez: Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Katsu Don, Hurricane Roll

Twitchy: Had lunch at Washoku on a recent Saturday. I expected it to be busier but there were only 5 other tables occupied. Service was very good. We had the chicken udon, a sashimi & nigiri bento, salmon combo, tuna combo, shrimp combo and a yam roll. The udon soup, rolls and nigiri were all very good and I would give them a 5 star rating. However the bento box had a couple of items that stopped me from giving Washoku an overall 5 star rating. While the bento box was generally very good, the slice of octopus was extremely chewy. Also, the tuna sashimi was very cold, not quite fully thawed out. The salmon sashimi was fine.

Ruby: I saw a recommendation on the Internet. A family of three went to eat at noon today. The restaurant environment is very good. The lady clerk is very friendly and patient, and the food is served quickly. The key point is that the taste is particularly delicious, and the children said it was super delicious! Will visit again next time♥️Based on the recommendation we saw online, our family of three went to dine at the restaurant for lunch today. The restaurant had a great ambiance 👌, and the waitstaff were very friendly and patient. delicious flavor. Our child even exclaimed how super tasty it was! We will definitely visit again next time ♥️.

Esther Thong: Good food. Service could be more interactive.

Jing Li: Excellent

Arthur Lee: This is a great little hidden gem near the university. The name of the restaurant literally means the food will come in ten seconds. Naturally, that’s an exaggeration but the food is very fast to get to the table.I would recommend the chicken noodle soup as that is very flavourful. Also, the prices are not exuberant so it bodes well for the students who do not want to spend too much.

丁嘉禾: Recommended dishes Tomato Beef

Shay Diep: I ate here the past two days in a row. This place is awesome! You order by scanning a QR code at the table. It’s reasonably priced at $12.50-$15.00 on average for a noodle dish. Ingredients are fresh and it’s a fun experience to put them in the sizzling hot bowl. The restaurant is tasteful decorated and always very clean. Staff are quick and friendly. No fluff, just good food and good service. My favourite is the tomato beef flank noodle soup.Overall: Delicious food, great atmosphere, and quick customer service. 10/10 will eat here again. 很好吃 😋

Kwokman Ng: If you like rice noodle soup, you should try it, especially in winter time. They serve the noodle soup in a very hot stone bowl. It tastes extremely good when the weather is cold.Recommended dishes Noodle Soup …

Alex K: Dorinku is one of my all time favourite restaurant’s. The pressed salmon sushi is very good and the carbonara udon, is probably my favourite dishes to try. The calamari and chicken skin was pretty good as well for appetizers. The employees are very welcoming and gives it that authentic Japan vibe when you walk in.Parking: Has a strip of parking, if its not busy its not bad parking
