Mountain Madness Tours / Edmonton Bike Rentals: what do users think?

Sarah LaSelva: Ben's bike tour from Jasper to Banff was wonderful! It's a challenging ride, but his itinerary is thoughtfully planned out with rest stops and check ins with snacks exactly where they are needed. He had short hikes planned out for after dinner to make sure we got to see as much as possible. He put so much care into making sure we had the best possible experience. I highly recommend Ben and Mountain Madness!

Priti Shah: Wow! The scenery in the Canadian Rockies is exceptional and the trip is crafted to reach those great heights. I have had the privilege to participate on a few bike tours but never one as expertly guided and organized as this one. From the pre-trip communications right up to the airport drop off Ben has carefully thought of every detail to make the trip enjoyable, safe, achievable, fun and rewarding. He is super knowledgeable about the area and more importantly what is needed to cover these distances by bike. And his warmth as a person is absolutely icing on the cake of a great experience.

jan dafoe: The Jasper to Banff tour with Ben was beyond my expectations! We were able to get over the highest passes with encouragement and great snacks !! The short hikes in the evening also added to the already spectacular scenery.

Roz: Above and beyond service

Scott Zubko: Best way to see the mountains, well run and organized, very experienced operator and recommended, you wouldn't be disappointed!

Johannine Roque: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Edmonton Bike Rentals provided an incredible gravel bike rental experience, and I'd like to give a special shout-out to Ben for his friendly and excellent service. He allowed us to pick up the bike the night before, provided guidance on gear usage, and helped with sizing. The bike was in impeccable condition, and Ben's dedication to customer satisfaction was outstanding. I highly recommend Edmonton Bike Rentals and Ben for an unforgettable adventure!Cheers,Nina R.

Steve Sparkes: Ben was great, rented a bike for a couple of days. Highly recommended.

jeff brady: Very grateful for the flexible service.

Alison Worthington: Ben's Mountain Madness Tours are not to be missed!! Truly the most epic bike tour imaginable. They say the Icefield Parkway is the most beautiful roadway in the world. Even more beautiful than you can imagine. To experience it by bike with Ben is unreal. Ben is the ultimate host and an incredible guide. He has a laid back Aussie vibe that makes everyone feel like they can take on the challenge of the hilly climbs AND he is on top of every detail to make the tour easy and fun. Highly recommend. Sign up now!! Thank you, Ben! I had such a fabulous time!!

A Rousseau: Best bike tour ever!! Ben is the best! Everything was perfect. Ben knows the route by heart, supporting us perfectly during the whole trip. I loved having a hot beverage at the breaks. The scenery is amazing! after the dinner, Ben was always ready for a little excursion to see the beautiful scenery. Don't hesitate, book with Ben.

Marieta Velikova: biking routes 2

dunham6: Ben was absolutely amazing with all the organization aspects of this tour. The 4 day tour of the rockies was great, and Ben provided the right amount of support as we tackled the climbs, the flats and the downhills at our own pace. The accommodations are rustic but clean, and the COVID protocols in place by Ben were very comfortable. Snacks were fantastic, as was dinner. The breakfasts and lunch were a bit small, but sometimes that was limited by what was available. Overall I'd reccommend the tour for any intermediate cyclist who wants a fully supported and adventurous experience. Thanks so much!

Geoffrey Davis: Ben made our bike tour of the Rocky Mountains most enjoyable despite the smoky conditions. He looked after little details like ensuring our bikes were ready to go in the morning, to providing snacks that could work with my allergies. He checked with restaurant staff to ensure meals were allergen free. My spouse rented an e-bike and it took the stress out of the ride for her as she was uncertain about completing the hills. It made a huge difference for her.

Renu Prithipaul: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI am a repeat customer. Ben is professional, courteous, and attentive to guests' needs. Logistical arrangements - accommodation, food, transportation, on-road support - are all to very high standards. No hesitation in recommending Mountain Madness Tours.

David Lamb: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueOur group asked Ben to help us design a customized Jasper-Banff tour. We had a few ideas and using the core of Ben's Icefields Parkway route, as well as some customizations that we only got because of Ben's wealth of knowledge of the area, we got just what we were looking for! Let's do it again!Service:Group tours

Steve Douglas: 5 stars for sure! Ben provides a world class tour from Jasper to Banff via the Rocky Mountains. This tour provides stunning mountain scenery at every turn. Ben's knows this route like the back of his hand, right down to letting you know where you might find crosswinds on your ride. His attention to detail means you don't have to worry about a thing, he has your bikes ready for you in the morning and lays out all the days rest stops, lunch stops, terrain, distances etc. at the pre-ride chat. He also has radios for everyone to stay in touch as cell phones coverage is very limited. Accommodations are great, food even better. Overall you cant beat the tour that Ben has put together.Service:Group tours

Ian Dobson: Believe the 5 star reviews - this is a great trip. Biking in the mountains is an incredible experience, made all the better by everything Ben takes care of for you. My only concern each day was getting up the latest "big bump", and that's exactly what I was looking for. I can't say enough good things about the trip.

John Miller: Amazing experience!!! Ben makes sure everything is taken care of and treats you like a rock star! ...and he does it effortlessly because he cares so much about the Canadian rockies, cycling, and loves to share it with others!

Ed Ostiguy: This is an awesome tour. The views are spectacular and Ben is very organized and enthusiastic and took great care of all of us. I would highly recommend this.

Steven Mazzella: What an amazing trip! Ben has this tour running like a well oiled machine. Although we werent very lucky with the weather, the scenory and experience is incredible. Ben sets everything up for you so all you have to do is put in the work. I would highly recommend Mountain Madness Tours.

Paul Singer: Terry is an awesome guy to learn from! If you are thinking about trying this out he is the guy. He accommodated us by teaching us on Canada Day, and did the whole course while it was raining… Not just a little bit, but fairly hard. He just stood there in the pouring rain, and taught us what we needed to know for 90 minutes.

Bike Edmonton Downtown Community Workshop: what do users think?

Peggy Duiker: This place is amazing I feel Ken went above and beyond to make sure my grandson had a bike at my house. Adam sold mea bike carrier that i had been looking for, but couldnt afford.Ifeel so lucky to have found this business

Stephen McILwraith: I'd give 6 stars if I could. Friendly knowledgeable staff that teach you if you're a rookie like me and very fair prices.

Shawn Ang: Brought my bike in for a brake tune up. They have the best volunteers and peeps to teach u how to.Had extra time so they said why not clean your chain up.Ended buying a kids bike for my little one to use.Fair price and great people.Do make an appointment to secure a spot to do your stuff

Chris McGale: I needed to change my seat but didn't have the proper Allen key. They helped me with the tools. Great service. I plan on going back with tip money as everything was free.

Amy: .I tried calling Bike Edmonton Community Workshop, but didn't get an answer, so out of desperation, I decided to show up in person, and I'm ***so*** happy that I did. When I arrived, there was even another girl there getting help with her scooter!Even after admitting that they aren't experts in scooters, they didn't hesitate to help me.After missing my call, the shop manager even called me back within 15 minutes. What business calls back random missed calls? Amazing service. Shout out to both Greg and Larry. I cannot recommend this place enough. This place is run by volunteers and I swear they all helped and offered advice for fixing my scooter. They were all patient and kind, and willing to basically experiment until it was fixed. I honestly don't know what I would have done if they hadn't helped me.I did miss it when I drove past the first time, so I've attached a photo for reference.

Anas E: Everyone is talking highly about Bike Edmonton, the volunteers, the staff especially Larry. We went there today and experienced what everyone is talking about. We signed up for the membership and definitely will be going there more.

P.G. Reitsma: A very friendly and helpful vibe there. My first time in this location and I'll definitely be back.

Kukay Richie: I rebuilt an old road bike donated by my neighbour!Shoutout to Edwardo!

Dalila Villalobos: 2. The space is great! You can go there and find your new bike or if you know about bikes, you can get the pieces you may need.3. Prices are friendly. They have a membership benefits option and they are student budget- friendly as well!4. They have all-things-bikes!! City maps and bike registration tags to protect your bike.Definitely 5 stars for this place! I am looking forward to going to one of their workshops too and will recommend this place to anyone that needs to tune their bikes!

Alex Bachinsky: I am a struggling woman who doesn't have a lot of money. I went to bike Edmonton and a gentleman by the name of Ken and his co worker Kenny helped me at a discounted rate fix my bike. I am very grateful for the help and understanding of my situation. If anyone ever needs there bikes fixed fast, at a good price and with every detail and explanation out on the table I would recommend these guys.

RzRshRp 709: Today was my third time coming to the shop to do some work, and even though I came in for a DIY appointment, each time at least one of the staff members have helped me out and done things for me showing me how to do them like putting on a rear gearset or how to replace a bottom bracket. Alex, Larry, and Ken have all been a massive help to me, teaching me how to do things, and leaving me to my own devices in the rare chance that I happen to know what I'm doing, but still come over to check if everything is going smoothly and if I need any advice. They have a huge wall of nearly every used part you could ever need, from bottom brackets to friction shifters and everything in between. This is the only place I'll ever recommend to anybody that needs work done on their bike, simply because they'll teach you how to do the work yourself with the proper tools, or you can pay them a little bit more to do it for you, it's only $38 for a half hour service, and they do as much work as physically possible in that half hour. I haven't tried that yet so I don't know how much they can get done in a half hour, but even still a basic service at a retail bike shop I looked at would cost $150 minimum, not including parts, tax, or any hidden fees that may pop up, you could book 3 half hour appointments and a 15 minute one for less than the cost of the basic service at a bike shop.

Pepijn Heij: Just went here to fix my chain and the volunteers were supper friendly and helped me a lot along the process of replacing my chain.

Kayleen F: Great service!I came in for a just a couple of screws to fix my bike, and they were so helpful to find the right ones.

Chaminda Somathilaka: This is wonderful place to get you bike fixed. They have new and used parts for reasonable pricing.I went their to get my rear wheel repaired. Since I'm new to bike repairing, a volunteer helped with mine. He was super helpful, he explained me each step and each part. He found exact fitting used parts to replace my axel and cones and fixed the hub. I'm hoping to study more about bike repairing so that I can go DIY tune my bike next time.

Kevin Osicki: Absolute treasure for the city. Have been a few times and staff have been incredibly helpful and kind. Parts selection is pretty good and pricing is incredibly fair. The good people keeping it going are keeping cycling accessible and affordable for our community. Highly recommended to visit or support.

Bike Edmonton South Community Workshop: what do users think?

Cyrus Li: Great place to learn about bikes, find new and used parts, knowledgeable volunteers. Great way to support local bike community.

Kelly Granigan: I like that it's a mask mandatory space, helps me feel safe there

Dave Severn: Very professional help and a pleasure to get the help I needed to get my Grandkids mobile when they come.

Ron P.: Booked an appointment to DIY fix my bike which needed pretty much everything. Manager hooks me up with Colin and we start working. He taught me so much in 3 hours it was incredible. Explained things clearly, super patient, extremely knowledgeable and just a good guy to learn from. Fixed my bike from top to bottom with me doing some of the work. I dont usually praise people but this guy went so far beyond to help it was shocking. Prices are great and I felt like I was part of the project. I will be back for sure!!

Kazimir Haykowsky: Such a wonderful place, community, and resource! I highly recommend picking up a membership to support this organization, get some top-quality assistance with your bike, and connect with a supportive community. The workshop is such a fun and positive space, with so much knowledge and all the tools and basic parts you could ask for.

picassochis: Great experience, what an asset they are to the bike community! I got my first bike and had it looked over at the shop. Very knowledgable and helpful staff. I learned a lot in the process, bought some well-priced supplies, and was given additional trail and biking info. I feel a lot more prepared. Thanks for all you do, will be back again!

Yeh Warren: I and my son went there with broken pedals and tube. Staff is so friendly and helpful. We found what we need with very reasonable price. I have no problem at all to go in with mask on my face. Volunteer are seniors and definitely need more protection.

Michael (IG mike.slikes): Support LOCAL business

Thomas Borreson: , but there's some real gems that pop up. For example, I picked up a lovely 50-year old 3-speed roadster there for $300, and it's rapidly become my favourite bike that I've ever owned. It's not exactly the sort of bike that easy to find in Edmonton where so many bike dealers favour mountain bikes and road bikes. Also, I appreciate that they're not just taking the careless approach to COVID to appease the feral numpties. It would be nice if it were easier to get an appointment, but I understand their staff are limited and there's a lot of people who rely upon them.

Scott Rollans: . Its operating hours are limited, and those onsite can't always jump to the phone every time it rings. And, you can't expect them to always have the specific part you need

Matthew Boonstra: The volunteer, who is the manager for this location, was very friendly and helpful. She talked me through everything she did with my bike so that I could learn a bit, and stay engaged with what was going on. Even though she worked on my bike for the full half hour and had to close for the night afterwards, she had me go for a small test ride to make sure that everything was fixed. I'll definitely get a membership and go back next time my bike needs work, and I highly recommend Bike Edmonton to anyone who has a bike.

Pedego Electric Bikes Edmonton: what do users think?

Kevin Carson: We dropped in unannounced while at the Fringe to see if I could get my gears adjusted and my wife get her squeaky brakes looked at, and Sean was able to take us in, on the spot, adjust everything, and did it without cost. A few days later my wife got a flat riding to work, and again, was helped right after work, no appointment, no cost. The customer service is 2nd to none!

Louis Goulet: This is my second time renting bikes. Great place to rent from! Absolutely no issues.

J Brown: Knowledgable and friendly owners, and after a couple months and 900km on my bike I can confidently say they stand by their product and service. Helped me out allowing me to pick up on a Sunday when they were closed after my bike needed a minor service repair over the weekend. Highly recommend the bike, warranty and service you will receive.

Lindsay Welsh: Bike works great and the service is awesome

Tim M: The Service at Pedego is fantastic! I live far outside the City. Pedego had my bike for some repairs. Instead of having to drive all the way into the City to pick up my bike, they drove it out to me.Very much appreciated!

Isabelle Chapados: The most wonderful bikes, sturdy and stylish and friendly attentive service !

Craig Eddisom: Went to Pedego Edmonton to rent a bike for a friend so 3 of us could go for a ride. My husband explained how he was having some minor issues with his Pedego bike he purchased in the fall of last year. They set him up with a rental bike at no charge so our plans to ride could still go ahead. When we got back all the issues were fixed as well as a full tune up. Staff here are very friendly and nice to talk to. The experience and customer service was top notch!!!

Tyler Hall: . After researching, we settled on a Pedego Avenue. Sean was able to answer all my questions and made me feel confident about our major

Thelma Llewellyn: The service is unbeatable. We have found the folks at Pedego to be knowledgeable, helpful and quick to assist. We have had nothing but superior service and experience.

B DK: I have always received excellent care and attention from all the staff at Pedego Electric Bikes Edmonton. Right from the start ensuring I purchase the correct bike for my height and abilities, to any questions or help that I need. My first tune-up was quick and easy, there was no wait time for my scheduled appointment, a complete review from one end to the other with a few minor adjustments and I was ready to go off riding again. 5 Stars from me. Tks B

Ebike Edmonton: what do users think?

Norman MacDonald: Magicians, a simple fix . Bless them, no charge.

Mark Wilson: Amazing service! One of the only places in town that will work on Rad Power Bikes. They quickly diagnosed the problem with my bike and had me back on the road the same day. Helpful, friendly staff, and a large selection of new bikes and useful accessories. Great experience.

Rick Fowler: Absolutely loved the service. Will definitely recommend to others.

Philip Palindat: I was looking for a torque washer and these guys came through incredibly efficient. They were so awesome, they stayed open for me and had the part waiting for me when I arrived from the other side of the city.

Joe Lancelot: I went in this morning to find a stem bolt for my e-bike and the staff went out of their way to find last one in inventory and gifted it to me great customer service

Doug Troock: I was very impressed with my first visit to Ebike Edmonton. They seem to have a very committed service department.

NS Kokott: I was very impressed with the service I got from the people at Ebike. I went in for the first time last week, and even though it was clear at the outset that I wouldn't be buying anything, they were more than willing to take the time to listen to what I needed, and help out.I didn't spend any money this time, but as a result of the service I got, Ebike is certainly a place I will go back to.

Terry Horning: Very good efficient service from first inquiry call to dropping off bike and job completion !

Riley Dawson: Visited Ebike Edmonton the other week after snapping the kickstand on my bike. I had been to two other bike shops in town but neither carried a kickstand that could support the weight of a fat tire ebike, and the latter sent me here. Not only were they able to immediately provide a replacement without ordering, they also did so without charging me for the installation. The team was exceedingly friendly and able to answer all my questions about maintenance, etc. They'll definitely be my first choice next time I need help with my bike.P.S. If you're considering getting an ebike in the first place, I absolutely recommend it. I've put on 400km in under 2 months already.

RoseMary Frunchak: Best Bike shop, great service!

Rob Anthony: Got a flat tire on my bike with doing a brewery tour. These guys had it fixed before I could even finish my pint across the street! Service was outstanding even though I didn't have an ebike, but if I ever need to buy one I'll be shopping here first.

Go Der: Stopped there for a small repair on my ebike and they were able to help me right away. Great service!

redbike: what do users think?

Darryl Sparling: I've purchased a bike from three LBS in Edmonton, with my most recent purchase being from Red Bike. I must say, their custom and bike service are second to none, and they are every bit as great a shop as anyone else in town.I wouldn't hesitate recommending Red Bike to anyone in the market for a new bike.

Jamie&Trina Molnar: The staff at Redbike were amazing and very helpful. I bought a new bike and they installed the pedals and did a quick fitting for me. I was in a bit of a hurry so they said bring it back and they will do a proper fitting.

Teddy Medvedev: I went in, I told them I needed my handle bars to be fixed and they fixed it straight away for free! Great service, nice people highly recommend!

HK45: One of the better bike shops in Edmonton. Need to be careful when getting repairs done, to make sure they replaced the parts with what you asked for.

Mishu K: Quick service for flats.

Jody Horvath: Highly recommend!Had the absolute best experience - they are experts! There was no pressure when I was trying to find the right bike for me - the experience was so good I didnt bother going to comparison shop anywhere else. I'm 100% confident that I got the best bike from the best team.

brandon taylor: Best experience iv had in long time

Adrian brunette: Redbike is great. The staff for the most part is pretty helpful, and they have an excellent selection. I had a bit of an irritating situation with them refusing to sell me a bike during the pandemic, but that was a strange time and I don't hold it against them.

Kristian Rasmussen: Recently purchased my Breezer Radar bikepacking setup from the team at Redbike. The professionalism, knowledge and pure passion for cycling are the factors that make Redbike my go to shop. I would give six stars if I could!

Danielle Lafrance: Mason was super helpful!

Rohann Robertson: Spoke to sales staff on the phone before placing my online order for a bike frame - perfect service!

Revolution Cycle: what do users think?

Patrick Whittleton: from the Sherwood Park store. Customer service was fantastic - my bike was ready to go and the rep walked me through the details of my new e-bike. Needless to say I love this bike - it’s an amazing beast into a strong headwind and makes me feel like a youngster on hills and steep grades. This is my second bike from Revolution Cycle and my first from their Sherwood Park store. If you want quality and service that = excellence this is the place for you.

Erik deJong: Had a great experience. Salesperson was friendly and not pushy. Helped us find something that worked well for us.

John Fallon: Amber was ex excellent

Devon Phillips: Also very thankful that they registered our new purchase bikes on BikeIndex. My son’s bike was stolen and recovered only 2 days later thanks to the registration and EPS.

Surgical Steel: Always friendly and courteous. Always have the small parts I'm looking for and have a great selection of bikes and parts for all bike types.Purchased a cruiser for the wife, kid trailer parts, and several small parts for my bikes over the years and they are always very professional.

Omar Ortiz: If you need a bicycle. This is the right place to find it. The staff is the best either parts or service and even better sales.

John McFarlane: I’m very new to mountain biking. I was referred to Revolution Cycle by a friend and I’m really glad I went in. I was helped by Jeff, who took a lot of time to go through different bike options tailored to my price point and skill level, as well as the safety accessories and other needs. He provided some basic instruction on routine maintenance and made sure all my questions were answered before I left. I felt very looked after and will certainly be back for any bike needs I will have in the future.

michael s: Always helpful and honest

Mikida Bong: on my bicycle. Truly appreciate all your help and excellent customer service.August 5, 2022 I walked into the REVOLUTION CYCLE shop with my bicycle, Ben greeted me n led me to where the repair area was. He pumped up my bicycle and taught me how to use my new stand pump. I asked for the bicycle basket, he showed me which bicycle basket fits my bicycle. I was amazed as he knows what he is doing. I never thought any basket would fit my bicycle coz of the big wheel. Before going to Revolution I did go to a bicycle store on the south side and they couldn’t find a bicycle basket that fit my bicycle. I m glad that Ben of Revolution got me a basket that fit my bicycle. His co worker told me Ben is very experienced as he has been doing this job for 25 yrs. Then he showed me the folding bicycle and mountain bicycle. He informed me to go on the website to join events that I might be interested. All the staff there are very friendly and smiling , one of them even opened the door when I left with my bicycle. They make me feel welcome and at home there. I will be their forever customer

Kristyn Power: Fantastic service, great bike and accessory selection.

Ten Rain: Wasn't the greatest at explaining what was wrong with my bike, but the staff were all great, quick and friendly!

Chris Vilcsak: Stopped to get a repair completed on my daughter's bike - tire had bulged out - and Mike did a great job, new tire, in and out in just over 25 minutes I think - very happy with the fix and the service. Highly recommend!

Kirk Chambers: If your looking for excellence in a bike shop look no further.Knowledgable staff, excellent mechanics and great service.

stamperitis: I have bought several bikes for my family and have recommended to all my co-workers and friends. They also have great service and on the occasion when I can't figure something out they deal with it and explain. Wonderful bike shop.

kent z: Hardcore made picking my first gravel bike easy! I told Steve what type of riding and surfaces i was going out on and he gave me 3 options with a strong recommendation to go with a custom built Hakka. It took me about 2 weeks of google r&d to take his recommendation and am i ever glad i did. The bike is perfect for what i want to do which is road bike rides on gravel. Steve nailed the drive train and wheels and after 3 rides and a few hundred k i can say that its perfect. Looks pretty darn sweet too.Sorry my first review some how pulled up old text!

Dean Anderson: Thanks for the last minute with your help with my dropper! It worked flawlessly on the 850km Colorado Trail!!

Karl Welz: Good selection of products and good prompt delivery of special orders. Friendly staff. Top notch service department.

Trent L.: Very knowledgeable staff that will sell you what you need. As cyclists, they use the products that they sell.

Misha Nelson: . When I was ready, they were so helpful in selecting a new bike, and patient while I looked around and checked prices elsewhere, ultimately choosing to purchase with Hardcore because they are so awesome with customer service. The bike we chose has met all of my needs, and they even ordered in a few specific items so I could get the aesthetic I wanted.

Shantel Koenig: happens. Don't be intimidated by the "hardcore" name - the staff are a bunch of loveable bike nerd softies

Ron Wildemann: They were very helpful, had the parts I needed at a good price. Will definitely come back!!!

Dan Wilberg: Excellent work as always, simply the best service experience in town. I recently moved across the city from Hardcore, but I don’t think twice when I have bike needs; they’re still my local go-to shop

Sean: Solid customer service, great work and homey small town vibes. Love reppin' Hardcore for my bike I purchased there 10 yrs ago

mike kornega: People working there were easy to deal with, no pressure sales tactics. They seemed very passionate about bikes and knowledgeable in helping me choose my new ride, and even made some adjustments to make it more comfortable for me. Will definitely go back for my family's next bikes. Thanks!

Pedalhead Bicycle Works: what do users think?

Benjamin Alldritt: My kid had lots of fun and got much better at riding his bike. Teachers Harmony and Connor were very good!

Daniela Baldauf: independently! Would definitely recommend.

Peter LaBlanc: Well informed staff ,very friendly, highly knowledgeable would recommend anytime

Carly Beaulieu: The kids’ instructor, Connor, was excellent for the “Gearheads” level. The kids say “if I had to choose a bike teacher from the best top five, I’d choose you!” And “five starts. Thanks for reaching me cool tricks like wheel pop and dismount.”

Eduardo Vazquez: Super good service, they fixed my child's bike and they are very good! The work was excellent and the attention is very good. It is definitely the store you should visit if you want to buy or repair your bike. FIVE STARS!

Braden Bullock: Amazing service. They baptized me, delivered my baby and filed my taxes all on the same day. All jokes aside, I took my bike in to get fixed expecting to drop it off for a couple days but they fixed it on the spot and then went above and beyond to quickly do additional maintenance on top of the repairs. Would recommend.

Jodie Bakker: Pedalheads has really great service. My bike tire deflated, and I ran my bike to the shop just before closing, and they fixed it quickly and were extremely kind and knowledgeable. Feeling grateful!

Curtis Guile: A few years I had my Giant Anthem rebuilt here, they did a fantastic job! I have had it in again recently for some service and they are thorough! I would recommend this place for all your bike needs. Thank you Nathan for getting my bike in tip top rolling shape again.

Chris Thiessen: and helmet! I was given a sale price on the bike a few days early because I'm from out of town, and they wanted to be fair. Chris also taught me how to remove the bike wheels so I could transport it home. They have a great policy of getting a discount on bike accessories for 60 days after you buy a new bike! Also, two years from purchase date, you can get as many tune ups as you need! Overall stock of bikes was pretty good, lots of other gear. This was a great experience and I highly recommend Pedalhead Bicycle Works!!

Sherry Norton: , as well as skiing

P T: Support you local bike shop. Great location, free parking, friendly staff and owner. But be careful when buying open box stuff. There may be missing parts! Will definitely go bag to support them and their group rides.

Stephen W: Great service and very friendly

Daniel Giddings: . Only took a few minutes, and the guy who did it was super friendly and didn't charge me. I feel bad I didn't have any cash on me to slip to him... it wasn't a big job, but I still appreciated his time. So, the least I can do is leave a good review & I'll definitely shop here the next time we need some biking gear.

Sarah Read: Outfitted the family with bikes today and am blown away with the service. You just don’t get that quality of service anymore. The staff are very knowledgeable, which made the whole experience a breeze. We’ll definitely be recommending friends and family to head to Pedalhead for all of their cycling, ski, and snowboard needs!

Matt McTurk: Just purchased a bike here. Great service and the guy was extremely knowledgeable about bikes. We went to 3 bike shops before here and the knowledge was what convinced us to buy at Pedalheads

Ryan: Great Service. Fixed my bike on date promised. Excellent attention to detail. Thank you!

Paul MacLean: and I was surprised with the wonderful service I received from the lady at the front desk and the technician in the back. In about 15 minutes I got 2 new tires and when they offered to install them I couldn't resist for 12 dollars a tire. I will definitely go back there next time I need something for my bike.

Mud Sweat and Gears: what do users think?

Anne Davidson: Had never heard of this place till last week. I was looking for an affordable place to get my brakes adjusted. Service was fast and very friendly staff. Returned this week to have another bike done. Will be going there for all future work.

Linda Bergem: Both my husband and I bought our e-bikes from here. We couldn’t be happier with the service. Any time we have questions or have little concerns on any of our bikes old or new they are always happy to help. Shop local and in your neighbourhood is always better than a big box store.

Jordan Atkins: Awesome staff, I stopped in 10 minutes before closing on a Friday afternoon and the customer service was top notch. I apologized for coming in so soon to closing and they assured me that it was OK. We had the pleasure of chatting with Gary and the team. Ended up purchasing my wife's bike on the spot and she was pretty happy. Definitely support the business if you're in need of bike services 👌

Jackson Sled: Great staff, great selection of products. Exactly what a bike shop should be like.

Martin Male: Great place. Awesome selection of bikes and parts

Bryan: Best shop in town. Hands down.

Hannah Mckay: Went in for a dropper post issue and some brake maintenance. Was debating between getting supplies to fix myself or have it serviced. Nile at the maintenance desk was very knowledgeable. He gave me all the info to make a decision. He even encouraged me on my home basic maintenance journey! The person at cash was also lovely. We have been here before, and will return in future.

Mitchell Lemay: Awesome crew at the Stony Plain location. Had issues with ordering aftermarket parts online but MSG gave me a few different options to work with and had my bike turned around quick. Thank you Nile for all your help! - Mitch

Owen Richardson: Best bike shop in town! Not only is the selection vast & the pricing reasonable but the atmosphere is also stellar. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Whether they are helping me to find a specific part, working on my bike or just chatting they are amazing. Also the management of MSG is something to take note of. They are heavily involved in the community, something you don't always see.If yer looking for a new bike, bike repair, parts or apparel this is your place!

Fox Creek Nordic and Trail Club: Great customer service when I was at the Stony Plain location, from Paul and staff. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Repairs were performed in a timely manner to ensure we would not have to make a 3 hour trip back to Edmonton. I have dealt with MSG for years, both purchasing bikes and for service. Have always had a positive experience.A shout out to Max from Vicious Cycle in Jasper for going above and beyond to research bikes for me.

Elizabeth Doucet: I’m a middle-aged woman who needed an e-bike. I’d had a bad experience elsewhere and wasn’t feeling great about bike shopping. I don’t know much about bikes, but the staff person Renee was informative, polite, and not at all condescending. Low pressure sales, clean, well stocked, and I ended up with a great new bike! I’d recommend this place to anyone who maybe needs a bit of hand-holding for finding that new bike.

Harold Countryman: Great Service, Knowledgeable Staff my goto bike shop .

Samantha Taylor: Just want in and had unbelievable service!! Great selection super friendly staff.

pwee507: Amazing!

D V: The staff here is knowledgeable and helpful!

Matt C: Visited the store with my family and spent almost two hours with Liam. He went above and beyond helping with questions and showing us different bikes and ended up buying 3 bikes. We appreciated Liam’s patience, honesty and help!

Gary Lambert: Friendly and super helpful staff. Excellent selection of top quality bikes and accessories. Great place to shop!

Aneta Catunto: Our experience at United Sport & Cycle was awesome. Henry was helping us with the entire process. He had a lot of knowledge about bicycles, was really professional, friendly and funny. You could really see his passion and commitment to the company. He applied employee credit towards my purple handle grips. We would highly recommend United Sports & Cycle and of course Henry to our friends and family. Thanks so much,Aneta and Greg

G Ellis: Great service.

Shauna Gold: It was easy to find what we needed online, and our order came in perfect condition and super fast. I'll happily order from here again. Love the great service from a local Canadian company.

Valerie kropodra: shipped and received really fast. Shipping cost wasn't unrealistic like other places I looked at. Me and kiddo are thrilled with her Zuca insert!

Leandra Grenier-Green: and is clearly sought out because every time I have visited United Cycle since buying my bike

Karen Loates: Fast shipping, great prices! I will Definitely shop here again! GREAT product.

Sabina Qureshi: I needed to have my seat raised; I hadn't been able to do it at home because I couldn't loosen the bolts holding the seat post.A fellow came out from the back and said they would give it a try. After 5-10 minutes he returned and said they hadn't been able to loosen those bolts either and recommended I make an appointment and ask them to work on it for an hour at the shop rate of $100/hour. But he didn't charge me anything for the time spent today. He also advised me that my back brake cable needed to be replaced since it would soon fray.Excellent service!

Norm Trottier: We bought new bikes and a year later one of them started making a thumping sound. Took it in a couple times, then the service manager Jeff took over. They replaced everything they could think of. We talked to Tracy who is one of their bike techs….it was a puzzle for them. They rode it and the noise wouldn’t go away. They finally found a rare issue with the rear wheel that was the cause. They were helpful and provided great customer service while they tried to fix. So happy they got the issue resolved. Thats why we buy local and from reputable shops…. They care!

Dave Schlauch: I recently purchased a Blue Jays Jersey for a birthday present for my wife, that I sent out for custom numbering as her favourite player is not one of the star names. The size was incorrect & the staff was super friendly & accommodating, as they allowed me to exchange the jersey for the correct size & have sent it out for the same custom numbering. I was so pleased with their customer service that I ended up purchasing a Blue Jays wind breaker & gift card before as I leaving the store.

Michael Bains: Was in EDM on a family trip from ON. Son is a huge oilers fan bought some hockey/oiler gear from United. Got back home and the Oiler water bottle peeled. Called the store not expecting much but they were amazing. Apologized for the the situation and shipped a new bottle plus some more oiler gear. What a stand up store 👍Thanks again Tyler from United sports

Stormie Wunderlich: Amazing customer service!

Brent R: I picked up a mountain bike last week and couldn’t be happier with the customer service. The associate I dealt with was very knowledgeable and answered my questions. Great selection, great staff and great prices. I’ve been to other retailers and they either don’t listen or try to up sell you another bike. Highly recommend you check out United if you are in the market for a new bike.

Mic Sanders: Ben saved the summer by fixing my rollerblades !!No coast this round!Cheers, United Cycle ..

Laura Warner: Had a bike tire/adaptor question for the bike department here. I spoke to Courtney there. She was super helpful and kind. She put air in my tires and gave me a couple caps for my tires since I didn't have any. Huge shout out to Courtney!

Annie Lam: During my two recent visits to the store, I was very impressed with the courteous staff and their prompt service. The bathing suit section is well stocked and the prices are reasonable. During COVID, I was in frequent contact with a representative due to racing suit being not available, and she went out of her way to help my daughter. I’m a happy customer.

Karen Pentland: Easiest shopping experience ever. I didn't want to wrangle traffic, so I ordered online and had my purchase delivered. FYI Edmonton shoppers: if you order before 11AM, you'll get free, same day delivery.

Melinda Widrick: Keep up the great work.

MEC Edmonton: what do users think?

Bob Woodford: MEC always an interesting place to shop.

Aidan Kolousek: My favourite store for all my gear and outdoor apparel! Mountain days sale is going on now too.. huge savings! All the staff are lovely and knowledgeable.

Deb Lewin: Love this location

Laura: Fantastic Canadian born store for outdoor gear and clothing, with a wide selection of items for hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, camping, running, and other outdoor activities. They have their own line of clothing and gear that is high-quality and moderately priced. They have an environmental ethos, with strong corporate sustainability commitments. This chain used to be a co-op that was member-run, though sadly it's now American-owned.

Cindy Ma: Good selection and location. Helpful and nice staff.

jake scheffer: Helpful staff. Good products.

R Beaubien: Great selection and help from staff.

Jenny Y: Outdoor equipment like everything else has gotten more and more expensive. However I do find their sales and clearance items quite reasonably priced.

Taylor Laschuk: A girl names Rebekah helped me today find a sleeping bag, water filter, and compression bag and gave me tips on finding backpacking trails, she was very friendly and helpful!

David Gartner: Lots of outdoor oriented gear. Prices for some items seem a little high, however I believe they try to source their merchandise from suppliers that treat workers fairly. This may account for some of the price differential.

A Davis: Spacious store with everything under the sun. And if you are willing to dedicate an hour or two of time, you can locate some amazing deals. I've found an inexplicably discounted rack of Craft jackets, decent winter running leggings, perfect cycling shoes, merino wool socks and hats, t-shirts and most recently, excellent slip-ons. My MEC winter running jacket from 15+ years ago is still perfectly intact minus the zipper.

Colby Lachance: Thank you to Graham and Leah for helping me pick amazing gear for my fire bag. We appreciate you! 🔥
