Modo Yoga Winnipeg On Donald: what do users think?

Glenn Howell: Love Modo yoga! I go between Donald and Waverley locations both are great. I've been going since summer and the addition of the tea for visiting after was a neat addition.

Natalie Gauthier: I have been loving going to hot yoga on cold mornings. I really enjoy all of the instructors, especially Sean. Thanks modo for getting me active again.

Kamille Legaspi: Good place to relax and de-stress. Non-judgemental place to work at your own pace. Highly recommend

Tara: This is one of the best hot yoga studios in the city. Along with the Waverly location. The staff is always amazing and the change room are clean. They provide a hair dryer and toiletries to use as you need. The concrete floors and aesthetic is beautiful. They recently put in a new filtered water fountain. Rental mats and towels are available. They do karma classes that give back to the community and different charities. They have a full store with yoga products to purchase or if you forget something. They offer a variety of different classes some with music. It's amazing. Thank you Modo Yoga!

DJ L: One of the best yoga studios in the city in my opinion. Great instructors

Triple Threat: Positive:ProfessionalismCostly experience, but fun just the same. Professional instructor and clean welcoming environment.

Erin Joy: Modo is the best! I've been coming for 13 years and have never looked back. During pandemic they've had virtual options to keep up my practice, and gone over and above to keep everyone safe when in person has been possible.

Dilendra Wanigasekara: Great spot as always! Challenging but rewarding and good teachers

Kyla Webber: Great instructors, positive environment, for all levels of experience. Love the ZOOM classes they have started during this time of physical distancing. It's great to be able to still practice, have already told all my friends how great they are.

Modo Yoga Winnipeg On Waverley: what do users think?

M. S.: I wouldn’t take yoga anywhere else.

J Hud (Pumpkin Creek): If you can take one hour for yourself each week you should take it here. There are 3 major differences between Modo and other yoga studios.1. Most of the classes are in a hot room. You get a cardiovascular workout and a stretch. Plus you get a fluid change, losing a liter or 2 of water if you're working hard.2. All the teachers I've had there are knowledgeable and add a personal training feeling to my class.3. The combination of the above will make you feel incredible after only a few classes. Stop grunting when you tie your shoes up!

carol lindsey: I did some hot yoga over the weekend and it was excellent! The instructor made it so relaxing. Will def be back!

Rod Salm: Had the opportunity to try a hot yoga class here today. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. They made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in.The environment is impeccably clean, friendly - jovial even, and modern. Men's change room is almost elegant? Upscale. If a little small. If you are used to city gyms this will surprise you.Pamela cheerfully walked us through the facilities and operations before the class. The instructor was calm, and let you know teying was more important than right - a very good message for newcomers. No hihh pressure sales tactics was a welcome change from other studios I have been to. When I asked about membership they explained it clearly and without an "enroll now cause I work on commission" attitude.Later, after talking with my girlfriend and her experience, we decided we will be going back! How frequently we don't know, as it is a little far for both of us, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Modo Yoga for new and seasoned yoga practitioners.

Sharon Bou Chdid: Lovely studio, practice rooms, changing area and restrooms are always clean! The instructors are very friendly and helpful. I love every class that’s given! Would totally recommend!

Glenn Howell: First place I ever did hot yoga and I'm hooked. Very well set up facility excellent instructors.

Christopher Neufeld: Great studio with excellent teachers. There is ample parking and adequate space between students in the class so it doesn't feel like we're all packed in there like sardines. There is a nice mix of class types, so you can find one that suits you best.

Erin Joy: I came, I swear out every drop of fluid in my body, I came back.

Marcy Gauthier: Love Modo Yoga, been going for almost 10 years. Always feel welcome, and after class feel even better!

DJ L: Great yoga teachers. Location in St James would be a plus

Awesome Hot Yoga and Barre: what do users think?

M M: Went here for my first hot yoga experience and if I could give it 10 stars I would!!! Omg! Immediately when I walked in the staff greeted me and were so polite and kind. The atmosphere immediately calmed me with the dim lights and nice music. My class with Tally was incredible, I was so impressed how well it flowed and how calm she made me! It was really like a meditation too and I’m so grateful for it! I didn’t think i would like hot yoga but the temperature was perfect and the environment was amazing! I also loved being able to book on the website and the new to yoga section so I knew what to bring.Thank you sooo much for a great first experience!

Scout Froese: My favourite yoga place in the city! The instructors are super kind and helpful without using a "yoga voice". They don't play the usual yoga music which makes me feel more comfortable too! If you are not able to afford usual classes their $10 drop in Friday evenings and my favourite, $8 drop in Friday early mornings are crazy cheap and still amazing classes. Their changerooms are always spotless!

Keith Gordon: Hot yoga that wasn't too hot or crowded, with clear, detailed instructions and lots of assistance when needed. Staff and patrons are very friendly and welcoming

Siusan Hample: Classes are fun and well taught. I'm so happy to be able to go back again! ❤️❤️❤️

Nanni Teng: Great atmosphere and great teachers. My favorite is Yin Yoga with Krista.

Rebecca Ehnes: Very committed and thoughtful teachers - a wonderful place to do yoga!

Aniko Ignath: A clean facility, with friendly staff, and excellent yoga instruction.

Bill Hunter: Established yoga centre providing various levels of yoga classes, in person and online

Brenda Hrycyk: Outstanding yoga

Libbi Walter: goes back close to two decades. My initial involvement was to manage a major soft tissue problem that plagued my entire body. At that time, and presently, to my knowledge, this is the only yoga studio in Winnipeg that offers "true" Restorative Yoga classes

Cary Debenham: Wouldn't do yoga anywhere else in Winnipeg! 5 stars!

Aline Gavel: My experience at the Yoga Centre has been phenomenal from day oneThe instructors are excellent in teaching valuable techniques for optimum results. They emphasize that the pose itself is not the most important factor. The process of getting to or close to the pose with the best of your ability is what counts.I appreciate the meditative and friendly atmosphere at the Yoga Centre. When I leave the yoga class I feel a sense of well being.Aline Gavel

Dawna Smtih: I have recommend this studio to many people over the years. They have a variety of classes and instructors offer a great deal of experience and insight to their students.I started attending workshops here in 2000 and went on to compete my yoga teacher training with Yoga Centre Winnipeg. The insightful instructors guided my awareness of so much in life. As always though the learning never ends.Dawna

Lisa F: Love the studio, but miss the weekday-evening Ashtanga class. 4:45 isn't doable for those who work during the day!

loida O'keeffe: From the moment I walked in to when I left. I felt welcomed and relaxed. The instructor is wonderful. She explained and demonstrated so well that I understand easily.

The Yoga Barre: what do users think?

Michael Sparks: but it worked on fixing a nagging back injury.Jumping to today; I'm not kind to my body and with 1 total knee replacement 1 hip replacement I feel that my flexibility hasdiminished greatly.Since I shop at No Frills next to The Yoga Barre I thought I should check it out to see what they offer. The best way to describe Yoga Barre is "more than just yoga" the underlying discipline is yoga but the foundation of this local institution is holistic health and fitness. Yoga along with stretching, strengthening, breathing techniques, cardio

Alexia Noel: I visited The Yoga Barre for their open house and it was a beautiful space and such a positive experience.

Maria Ann De Jesus: It was an awesome experience. Heather was super nice and accommodating. The studio was so nice. It has a relaxing feel the moment you enter.. highly recommended!

Susan Quintana: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI admire the cleanliness of this place. Heather was an amazing cycling instructor. She was also very kind in lending her space and time yesterday to support the Birthday Ride for a cause of my son! We had a great time bonding with our family! I highly recommend her studio.

Pauline Angela De Jesus: The Studio is very nice. i love the ambience. it is very spacious. the owner is very nice and friendly. highly recommended!

Darci Silvestri: Very friendly and clean. All the instructors are lovely and have different energy and personalities. It's been a great experience.

K Lalonde: You must try classes at The Yoga Barre! When I started my first unlimited month almost a year ago I kept saying “this is my favourite class”, and then I’d try another and say again “this is my favourite class”....12 months later I am still saying “this is my favourite class” after each and every class I take. I feel stronger physically and mentally and spiritually. They have it all at The Yoga Barre...each instructor will help you to calm your mind, challenge your body and do things you never thought possible.

Robyn Halliday: Great atmosphere, friendly people, awesome work outs

Studio 26 Yoga & Wellness: what do users think?

Tyler Gilchrist: Great variety of classes, instructors are so friendly and welcoming.

Sebastian Sotello: Tried hot yoga for the first time here. Todd was very welcoming and our group had a great experience. We will definitely come back!

Tammy Jensen: Best yoga studio in Winnipeg. Classes for restorative if injured, 90 mins hot 🔥 room if wanting a challenge, 60 min if needing a quick fix. Friendly, safe environment with a huge bathroom and reception area for safe social distancing. Stop using covid as an excuse not to do the right thing for your achy body! Try the one month deal for first timers!

Carrie Hasinoff: Positive:CommunicationBest hot yoga in Winnipeg! The classes are safe and welcoming for all ages and fitness levels. Oh, and the change rooms are super nice! Huge private showers, lounge area, plants, blow dryer, filtered water ON TAP! Oh, and once you’re all dressed up and hydrated the yoga is amazing and so fun.

Liam Roy: I’d give this spot a 6th star if I could. Stop by, talk with the people there and you’ll quickly fall in love with this place too!

Mitchell Haw: I've been going to Studio 26 off and on for 9 years. The studio cleanliness, consistency, availability of showers, and style of hot yoga keep me coming back for more. The 90 minute Bikram style hot yoga and the condensed 60 minute 'Fix' classes are one of the only things I've found to release the tension that builds up in my neck, shoulders, and upper back. The Bikram yoga is a more 'militant' and regimented style of yoga that provides great stretching while improving overall fitness and cardio. It's more than just chill meditative stretching - it's a workout! Booking is convenient through the Mind Body app and staff provide great support and instruction for beginners and veterans alike.

Sam Davidson: Wonderful place to practice yoga! The staff are friendly and helpful during class. They offer classes in both hot and room temperature and it can be done by anyone at all levels! I feel refreshed within 24 hours of doing a Core 26 class. Highly recommended. Also have other non-yoga classes available in their new second studio. Very clean atmosphere as well.

Jason Hovland: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityVery clean, and relaxed environment combined with a knowledgable staff. Whether it's your 1st time trying yoga or your first time visiting Studio 26 you will feel welcome.

Fez H: Positive:Communication,Quality

Matthew Silva: Great people with a positive attitude that really want to see you succeed in you own personal health. I cannot recommend them enough!

Waleska Willson: I love this place! I felt very welcome since day one. Although I’m a beginner, I feel very safe and very well guided. The teachers are great. I’m really looking forward to continue my practice here!

South Studio: what do users think?

Kyla Klassen: South Studio is such a wonderful space to practice yoga! They offer a wide variety of classes, have amazing instructors and the space itself is very inviting. 5/5 would recommend!

Amy Hugill: This studio is my favourite in the city! It is so wonderfully intimate and welcoming and the instructors that I have practiced with have been extremely skilled, provide excellent cueing, and are just overall lovely individuals. Highly, highly recommend.

Charles Allen: Pro tip: do the yoga then a massage with Rae! What a magical combination!!!

kristyn boulet: Beautiful atmosphere and great yoga instructors

Haderra Chisick: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityBeautiful Studio with great teachers. Very professional.

Pamela Vernaus: Positive:ProfessionalismI love this studio. Their evening classes are at a perfect time to wind down and still make it home for a cup of tea. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable and make me feel welcome. I enjoy coming to this studio and feel confident in my practice more than ever before.

Sasha Lillian Green: Overall, my experience with the studio has been great. I bought some passes because I can't commit to a monthly pass over the summer, but the quality of instruction is great. I have tried classes with most of the instructors. Some are absolutely excellent at welcoming newcomers to yoga practice and others could be a bit more mindful about how they approach new students. It would be nice to see more diversity in body types teaching yoga and possibly a class meant for beginners or those recovering from injuries since it can be difficult to keep up with a class moving so quickly. There has been a couple of times when I have found the studio a little too hot for a studio that does not claim to be hot yoga. I am also a little confused about policies about appropriate attire since I have attended a class where a male individual was practicing topless. All the other participants remained clothed, male identifying or not. It would be nice if that could be clarified, because in all honesty, if his bare chest can be out, why can't mine? Or alternatively, since we're all students in a public studio, maybe we should all be covered?I would recommend exploring the classes and the instructors to find the right fit. For example, I love classes instructed by the studio owner who is inclusive and great at scaffolding poses for all levels. There are a few other instructors have a very warm and nurturing approach to their practice that have made me feel very comfortable whereas some instructors offer a very specific kind of practice that you seem to need to be experienced in.This is my first experience visiting an actual yoga studio and I would highly recommend it. Clean and very well socially distanced. I feel safe there.

B.L Cumberbatch: This studio is on the higher end of the practice and aesthetic spectrum, and that is refreshing and needed, especially in Winnipeg. Very professional staff and owner, challenging and accessible practices, therapeutic and authentic yin classes, a sincerely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall this is a great studio to join or visit if you intend to grow your soul and enhance your journey of movement and breath, or you just need an hour for yourself or to find some joy on a day where joy and a smile might be needed.

Samantha Dubois: I went to my first class today, it was my first time ever doing that and I loved it. The owner is very welcoming, she gives a tour to everyone. The place is not only gorgeous but has such a good vibe, like a peaceful heaven. The instructor was really good as well.

Brittany Thiessen: , Yin and Relaxation
