Amandeep kaur: We booked this venue for our wedding. We were so impressed by Daniel who knew every detail of the venue and how we could best structure the package to fit our vision. we have been getting non-stop compliments from our friends and family about the venue. Overall the whole place seemed magical. Again a million thanks to Daniel for helping us out. We will always remember with delight the joy we had in Greenview Paradise.
Kenneth Mui: We held our engagement party here and Daniel did all he could to ensure that it was a success. Check in was a breeze as he went over everything in detail while we toured around the property together with the four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This place has everything, including the high tech sound systems, Roku enabled smart TVs in every room, table tennis table, foosball, pool table and the gym. It is very kid friendly as well with their own bedroom downstairs with two bunk beds and an N64, as well as a theatre room with a popcorn machine to keep them engaged. A fridge with freezer on both floors and all the kitchen utensils and coffee machine, air fryer, etc you can think of. To top it off, the hot tub was great in the winter and right on the deck from the sun room. We would definitely stay here again!

Elaine Pelley: This venue was spectacular for all of the generations invited to my husband's 60th birthday! Some of us enjoyed the recreational activities such as the theatre, pooltable, hot tub and paddleboats but most of us relished visiting in the breezy sunroom and indulging in food and drink in the comforts of this clean, expansive property that honours the beauty of nature both inside and out. The beds and furniture were pristine and comfortable and the host and hostess of Greenview were friendly, hospitable and payed attention to all of the details and prep prior to our party! The natural surroundings with water, birds and greenery made for the perfect background for our pictures to mark this milestone birthday! We hope to return for another party or as wedding guests one day; maybe even renew our vows here? Naturally lovely!
Shaminder Dhaliwal: My family and I used Greenview as our home away from home during my wedding week to host pre-wedding ceremonies and celebrate. Daniel made the entire experience super comfortable and accommodating from the moment we started chatting all the way till after we had checked-out from the property. I would highly recommend this location for both small and large groups, beautiful property with lots to do in the home as well!

My Channel Is A Joke: I went to a celebration of my friend’s life at Transcona Country Club, the service was amazing, the supervisor Bev was friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were clean and the food was delicious. My only complaint was that the coffee was a little bit strong. Other than that, my time honouring my friend’s life was respectful and enjoyable. I would highly recommend booking events here.

C F: My Mom, Grandmother & I went here for Mothers Day High Tea. We all enjoyed the experience and would love to attend another event like this in the future. Very unique event. The attention to detail was great. I loved the china that was used and the decor it was very authentic feeling. All the food was delicious and the service was prompt. The “MOM” photo station/display outdoors was a great addition. Thank you again for the lovely experience, what a great way to celebrate Mothers Day.

Elly Fehr: would look weird in the celebration hall but it was a great size! I have already had so many compliments on the photos I’ve shown others about how beautiful the architecture is. Kathy Furst: We were at Doors Open Winnipeg and chose this house. The tour was fabulous. There was someone outside, and then another on the main level,and also a guide on the 2nd floor. They all knew this house and Ralph Connor’s story and gave us so much fascinating information. It included that this was his pen name for his many many books. His real name was Reverend Gordon and he maintained his status as a church leader at the same time as being a novelist. It was built in 1913 at a cost of $50,000 when homes were being built for $1,000. If it is open again to the public I recommend going and soaking up some history!
Jenn Yablonowski: I also know first hand that the staff work extremely hard to make their clients day as special as possible. I would highly recommend Ralph Connor to anyone wanting a venue with character and charm right inside the city!

Robert Huskey: We stayed for 3 nights in mid-August while traveling in Canada. The location is great for getting around downtown Winnipeg. The hotel is very beautiful and the rooms are large and comfortable.I have to say that there were at least 4 weddings in the 3 nights that were there, so very popular.I would point out that teh Concierge was AWESOME. Jeannie Cole was on point and very helpful numerous times during our stay. Kudos to her.

The dinner served at the wedding reception was outstanding.

Natalie C.: It’s a historical marvel! Large size stately rooms with 10 foot ceilings and chandeliers and double heavy curtains for those preferring to sleep with no light. Our corner room 128 consisted of two rooms, one with king size bed, a desk and a lovely sofa, plus a full living room and dining room, lovely white bathroom, with new soft towels, pillows and warm blanket selection, temperature control, It was not only comfortable but it was a treat to stay here. It’s a historic building with many statues and portraits. We had a lovely view from both sides as 128 is a corner suite. There is a restaurant. On weekends they also serve branch. It’s a lovely experience to have stayed here.
