Brian A: Winnipeg best retro arcade. So many pinball machines to play plus a bit of arcade games too. Most of the modern pinball machines are $1, but the older ones are 50 or 25 cents. $20 bucks in the change machine and I got more than an hour of entertainment for my son and I - well worth it! The attendants who work there are great too. A couple of times I had a stuck coin and they were friendly and on top of it right away. I do wish they had some golden age era arcade games too, though I know space is pretty limited.

The option to choose between team play or going solo added a unique twist to the experience. Opting for the solo mode, our group of both kids and adults had a thrilling time running around, strategizing, and competing against each other. The arena was well-designed, adding to the immersive experience. At the end the scoreboard will show in order who got the most points, but it will also show you different categories, like who was the most accurate.The bumper cars, while entertaining, did have one drawback - the limited space. With the number of cars on the track, it felt a bit crowded, and the fun was slightly compromised. However, once we got the hang of the controls, the bumper cars became enjoyable. The better handling of the cars set them apart from what you might find at other amusement parks.The XD extreme ride was a hit with our group. The 3D attraction was immersive, taking us on an exhilarating journey filled with excitement and surprises. It provided a thrilling break from the other activities and left us wanting more.Now, onto the arcade - the only aspect that left us with mixed feelings. While the arcade offered a variety of games, some of them were a bit too pricey for the virtual tickets they provided. This led to a somewhat disappointing experience for the kids when their cards ran out of credits too quickly. We wished there were more affordable options available for the arcade games.Despite the minor critique regarding the arcade, U-Puttz Amusement Centre offers a memorable family outing with a diverse selection of activities to suit all interests. The laughter and joy shared during our visit made it clear why this place has garnered positive reviews from other parents. The kids had a blast, the adults also had tons of fun playing too! The staff is AMAZING!! They are mostly young kids, but they are fantastic! So attentive to our group! They made sure everyone had everything they needed at all times and that the birthday boy felt extra special! Also, they provide everything which makes for a stress free party for parents. No set up, no clean up, popcorn, drinks, pizza, cupcakes.. what more can the kids ask for?! I even didn’t have time for loot bags and they whipped them up for me with candy and prizes they already had there!! Such a great experience! Thanks for the great night!!

Jessie Christianson: I have to say Westwood Lanes were the real super stars this past Saturday. We held our daughter's 7th Birthday Party there. We purchased the Ultimate Kids package which included an hour of bowling, unlimited popcorn and pop, an hour in the party space afterwards and arcade cards. I made all of the arrangements ahead of time with the general manager, Zack. We emailed over the names, the pizza requests, pop requests... They were non stop attentive to our group. Constantly filling buckets and pitchers. They were so patient and thankfully kind about the popcorn being spilled all over the place. Every year is so hectic planning my child's Birthday and the staff at Westwood took so much of that pressure off of us.Zack and his staff were very accommodating and friendly. We aren't strangers to the facility because we like to spend time in the arcade there during the week but this was our first time doing a party there. I encourage others to host a party with Westwood Lanes because they really do take care of everything! Thank you all again for your help, patience, set up, clean up and accommodating our group!

Kyle Vezina: Went for a tram building event here. The upgrades have been amazing. Way better than last time I was here years ago. The drinks list is fantastic and very diverse. The food is standard bar food but that was expected. The nachos were meh, not enough cheese which was all on top, and the chicken was just cut up chicken fingers. The salt and pepper wings were fantastic. Perfect balance. The bbq wings were meh. It's bar food so the finger food platter was what I expected. The lanes are very nice now, the scoring system was great and really enjoyed the time there.
