The food is delicious, really amazing and fresh, and the service from Syd and the rest of the staff is top notch.We were traveling through Winnipeg and we always look for the best vegan restaurants wherever we go, and we found it here!On Friday, we enjoyed lunch so much, we ordered dinner to go... Both meals were superb. Saturday we stopped in for lunch, and came back for dinner, it was all so good!The pasta, mac & cheese, salad, tot-chos, soup, sandwiches and desserts were all amazing! And we love supporting small businesses and local owners...Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegan plant-based and delicious!
Magdalena Procknow: We are in Winnipeg for the weekend visiting family and were searching for a vegan restaurant to have lunch. We stopped by the Roughage Eatery and we are so glad we did! Everything is vegan and they make their seitan and vegan cheese in house. We had the Apple Brie sandwich and UnTurkey Pesto sandwich which were both absolutely delicious. We finished off with a coffee cake for dessert that was absolutely divine!!Our server Syd was SO NICE we love her so much and would come here to eat again just because of her!! Support them expanding their vegan cheese empire because we absolutely need them to come to Saskatoon!

Janna Machts: So good!! We were looking for a restaurant with vegan options and stumbled over this gem... Originally meant to try more things in Winnipeg but had to come back the next day haha the dinner for 2 is huge and lasted us for another meal, also very tasty! Their gluten balls will haunt our dreams forever now though :D might have to take another trip across the pond one day.
Josie Torres: The service was wonderful and the owners are very great and caring. If you're looking for delicious vegetarian food I would definitely recommend this place. Personally the Spicy Sauce Wontons were my favorite.I will however mention, that for the price the servings were *just a tad bit* slightly on the smaller side. Definitely enough to fill us though, and bring home some leftovers. I would maybe next time get the combo instead, as they seem to be better value for your money. Otherwise everything was amazing ♥️Vegetarian options: Vegetarian Restaurant, everything was either vegan or vegetarian.

The food was sooo good, my family of 5 loved every bite! We have three children, 2 of which are toddlers. So we ordered the combo for 3. The owners brought us two extra deserts just as a kindness and I would say just further showed how thoughtful they are! We would definitely recommend for a all around wonderful experience! This time around, it was a complete 180 from my last time trying Chinese.I will definitely be back for dinner soon, everything was so fresh and delicious. Alana Holland: A quiet and calm atmosphere to have a nice lunch. Very delicious falafel served with a simple salad and some amazing house made sauces! Potatoes were cooked and seasoned to perfection with another great garlicky sauce paired with them. The gentleman who I imagine is the owner was very gentle, friendly and accommodating. Very reasonably priced, $10 will get you satisfied! Would absolutely recommend!

Grace Farmer: Been going to this place since I was very young, can honestly say my favourite restaurant in Winnipeg 💕 with growing up vegetarian eating out normally wasn’t easy but Delicious was vegan since before it’s was wildly accepted and has always been consistently amazing food. The folks that work here are lovely and kind. Their deep fried “eel” is what made me like mushrooms.

Jacob Carewick: Simple, but delicious. A summer must if you're visiting the Forks. Vegan options with tons of variety. It's on the bridge so the view is nice, and they often have live performances. Seating is only outdoors, so be aware. They usually always have French and English staff too.

Coffee cups are very small- only got a half-cup refill and they never came back or checked in after food arrived.Eggs and bacon were blackened- presumably from a dirty grill with burned grease. Bacon was very dried out. Almost as if it were precooked and put back on the grill. Falafel Balls were good but are much smaller than their early days.Water tastes odd-like well water. No ice.They don’t give you an itemized receipt-only the total owed at the til.

She was quick to refill our drinks, chatty, and had a smile.The food was tasty and cooked well, but I wouldn't call it exceptional given the price point. Don't get me wrong, it was good food, but I was hoping for a little something extra to justify the dent on my wallet.All in all, I'd definitely recommend Oxbow if you're looking for a place with great vibes and on-point service. The food serves well, but if you're eyeing the 'wow' factor in every bite for the price, it may not hit that mark. But hey, it's still a pretty good night out!"Remember, this is just my two cents! Justin Caputi: .I mostly recently visited with my family and we tried 9-10 dishes that were incredibly delicious, paired with 2 wine selections, and we all left very satisfied with every aspect of our evening.The menu can also be enjoyed for people with Celiac disease, as many of the items are gluten-free or have great gluten-free substitutions. The kitchen staff were amazing with handling and creating our dish selections to ensure that everything was Celiac-friendly too.The atmosphere inside is a great spot for date night, to get some friends or family together, or even to enjoy a night out for some drinks. We didn't get to enjoy their outdoor patio, but it has been highly recommended and I can't wait to enjoy another night at Oxbow this summer!

David D: I have been wanting to try this place for a long while and finally was able to. Father’s Day and my daughter’s birthday together and this was the perfect place to celebrate. The server Misha was spectacular and made our night very nice. She was knowledgeable about the menu and then curated the order of the food coming out to make the meal progression perfect! We were on the patio and it was very nice. We did peek inside and I would say you can’t go wrong in either place. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The food taste sensations were amazing and the prices very reasonable. Ended with a cappuccino that was perfectly crafted. Thanks to the team there for a wonderful evening!
MA J: Last time I was at Oxbow was probably over a year and a half ago, if not longer. Made a reservation here to come to celebrate my fifth wedding anniversary with my husband and it was so wonderful. I always love the ambiance of the place, the service is A plus and the food was so good. Only call it is I feel the burrata was missing a flaky sea salt or something, but it was still delightful. Loved my white cross mocktail. We also had the arancini, the potatas bravas, the schnitzel, and the carrots. Definitely was a lot of food but we were happy to take it home for leftovers the next day. Can't wait to go back and check out their patio this summer!
