I had been looking for a very specific fabric for a while now and even checked out other small local and cultural stores. I could finally end my search here. They have fabrics for variety of cultures. I will definitely be returning to Overseas Fashion as first stop for fabric. The owners were very nice and helpful. Greg C: I finally got to visit Marshall Fabrics' new location. It's quite a bit nicer than the old one and I'm glad the weird smell is gone. There's a ton of fabrics to choose from and the prices are reasonable. I do miss the friendly, cozy vibe from the old store, but I guess that's just how it goes.
Angelle Holmes: This was my first time at this location. It was massive, with lots of selection. They have a discount area as well that had a decent selection. We came for a fake fur and there wasn't any in the discount section and we were looking for a very specific color I wish I didn't have however there was a lot to choose from and I'll come back when I'm making something a bit more flexible.

Diane McKenty: I own 2 sewing machines. The first is a Kenmore that I bought before we were married. It’s about 42 years old. The other is a Janome that I bought several years ago when I was looking for something with a few more features. I like both machines. Each has some quality or feature that I like best. 😁Several months ago, my Janome seized. Nothing I could do would coax it into working order. So I took it to KTR Sewing Centre in Winnipeg. They got it back to like new condition for a very reasonable price. I was thrilled. And so I thought it would be smart to bring in the old beast too. The Kenmore was still working, but it was noisy: I often said that it sounded like an old tractor. Well, KTR worked their magic again. That old workhorse is purring like a kitten.If you need any sewing machine repairs, I highly recommend KTR Sewing Centre.
Haris M: to find what is wrong with it and to repair it.As I open the door this gentleman warmly welcomed me. I asked whether I need an appointment for a repair. He said, yes. Drop the machine and it will take 2-1/2 weeks. Then I requested, how about if you take a look and see how bad the repair is. Then he asked me to bring the machine in. I brought it in. He spent about 30 minutes. Fixed it. I asked how much. Couldn't believe. He said, it is only a 10-15 minutes. Its free. I gave him 5 starts not because of the free service, But, beyond that his customer service is excellent. Very friendly and professional.He explained me what is wrong. How he fixed it.Because, he didnt charge, I purchased some items from him. Thats what I can do al least. Finally, found his name is Rob. Thanks Rob.I highly recommend this place for anyone everyone.All the best.

B. M.: I love this little shop. They will cut my fabric in meters even though they typically cut in yards, but my brain works in meters when I am calculating how much fabric I need. I appreciate this. They also have a fantastic selection of Kona solids which is the best in the city and you can buy it in bolts if they have it. Their print fabric prints are also very nice and I usually find something to take home with me when I go buy the solids I need.
