A shout out and a big thank you to Chris M he went above and beyond to ensure that my experience would be smooth and enjoyable.Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the front desk. Throughout my entire stay, they proved to be incredibly helpful and kind, always ready to assist with any questions or requests.Hotel itself was nice too. I would definitely stay here next time and recommend to friends/family!
Jeff Shay: Included breakfast is excellent full breakfast. Not "continental". 24/7 free coffee and tea service.The gym is large but could be better. Has the basics. Some kettlebells, spin bikes, and a bit wider range of dumbells would be nice.No bar in the hotel which would have been nice option at night

Chris Montan: This property is located incredibly close to a lot of shops, restaurants and attractions. Service was super friendly & prompt, welcoming us warmly as new visitors to the country. Our king bed suite was very clean and comfortable while affordable in price too. Marriott properties are my preference and this hotel did not let me down at all. Plenty of parking and we felt safe everywhere we went on the property.Rooms: Spacious luxurious rooms.Nearby activities: Lota of shopping restaurants nearby. All of the attractions we had planned were also less than a 20 minute drive away.
Jason P Ryan: Excellent hotel, especially for an extended stay or an overnight. Great if you like a full kitchen and you like to cook your own meals. Breakfast is good lots of diverse hot and cold food items. Nice pool, lots of kids! 😁Walkability: Close to many stores and malls in Polo Park area.Food & drinks: Restaurants and Walmart, etc. All around this property.

Tanya Ross: Great hotel downtown. Walking distance to so much. We got the jacuzzi room and it was so nice. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just ok. It was something to put in your belly. Caitlin Body: After getting off the train from Churchill this hotel was amazing! So close to the train station and the Forks. We stayed here for the night so we were rested for the next day! This place is in a great location!!Walkability: Lots of places nearby to eat and drink.

It very close to the forks and the Canadian Human Rights Museum. The location seems very central in the most touristy areas in Winnipeg.Nearby activities: The hotel is close to the forks which has many place to eat, the River walk and near Canadian Human rights museum.Walkability: You can easily walks to the Forks which as many tourists attractions.

She provided us with breakfast supplies in the fridge every morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. The whole house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, which made for a truly enjoyable stay.One of the highlights of our trip was trying Val's own brand of wine. It was fantastic, and the perfect complement to the cozy hot tub during cold evenings.Overall, we cannot recommend Val's Airbnb enough. Terri-Lynn Andersen: Overall, a good hotel. Yes, there was security- but not Because there was any incidents, and I felt good knowing someone was present.Raj 10/10 for service. Was so helpful with all my questions.My room was renovated and the only extra thing I would have liked is liquid dish soap, but an extra tablet for the dishwasher was provided when I asked.The breakfast was continental, but I just made my own since I had a full kitchen.I will definitely be back
Frank O: Nice hotel but could use some improvements. Very loud toilet and breakfast needs to improve. A hot breakfast is more than toast, bagels and hard boiled eggs. Being as it was an actual suite with full size fridge and freezer, stove, dishwasher etc was a welcome touch. Currently under going renovations and will be nice when finished and conveniently located close to the airport. I would stay here on my next trip to Winnipeg. PS: One thing I might add is a little better attention to the grounds. See pic. Clean up the butts and provide some ashtrays.

David Dotseth: Great place next to the airport. The server/bartender at the bar/restaurant was great. Excellent food and cold beer/drinks. Nancy Rideout: On our drive from Montreal to Calgary, we stayed one night at Hyatt House. We actually got a suite on points which was great. Super clean hotel, very pleasant staff, plenty of nearby restaurants in what appears to be a nice neighborhood. A little further off the highway then we usually like but it was worth it. Very pleasant stay, would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

The location is close to many restaurants and shopping locations with minutes. I highly recommend staying at this hotel while in Winnipeg.
Melissa Jensen: This was an amazingly clean and comfortable hotel. A very new hotel in a great location next to the mall, restaurants and the rec room. They have some snacks and drinks available for purchase, very expensive. The lobby bar was comfortable and service was fast and friendly. I didn't use the pool but another customer said it was cold but a nice pool. The breakfast is excellent. Pancakes, hash browns, sausage, eggs, fresh cut fruit, juice, coffee, bagels, and more. The bed was so comfy and I liked that they have big bottles instead of the single use toiletries. I forgot my toothbrush and they had one at the Lobby desk for me.
Tara: Stayed here for a week and it was great. The rooms are huge. We stayed in a double queen suite, full kitchen with stove top, convection oven and dishwasher. Had a nice living room and a tv that flipped around to be watched either in bed, or on the couch. We did hear people running around in the room above us but they were quiet by 11pm. We could also clearly hear doors from the hallway, which sometimes sounded like they were being slammed shut, otherwise it was fairly quiet. It's very close to the outlet mall, Cabela's, Ikea, Dollarama, a grocery store, The Rec Room and many other stores. Breakfast was ok, being celiac my options were limited to fruit. The coffee was awful. There's a Tim Hortons across the parking lot. I love this hotel and can't wait to return again soon!Update June 2023: this hotel has the best coffee! They have a new machine that can make pretty much whatever you want. I stayed here for another 4 nights, every morning I had the best Americano.Rooms: Huge, comfortable layout. Lots of space.Nearby activities: Outlet mall, The Rec Room, Cabela's, Ikea, Dairy Queen, Co-op grocery store, mini golf in the dome, and much more shopping

Saymy Name: a reminder when you're booking would be nice. I always expect a deposit but everywhere runs them between $200-$350 depending so I would like to know ahead of time to keep my finances on trip in order. Otherwise, decent hotel for what I needed. The bar does get loud so maybe pick a different hotel for weekends.Rooms: Rooms are old but again, you get what you pay for

I especially liked the unique touches that remind you that the hotel is owned by Long Plain First Nation, the signs are all bilingual in English and Anishinaabemowin, and they've got a nice little gift shop of beaded crafts at the front.The real gem of this hotel though is the restaurant. The food is phenomenal for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and I would eat here even if I wasn't staying at the hotel!Food & drinks: The restaurant is Indigenous-themed, and everything is delicious. I'd eat at the restaurant even if I wasn't staying at the hotel!

Mae Manimtim: , was coughing and hacking simply because the air circulation was not good. My two nieces and I had an extremely rough time breathing and could not last 30 minutes in the area and had to leave to get fresh air.Other than that, I was pleasant to find out that they do check-in calls, something I had never experienced before. The lady on the phone enthusiastically greeted us and asked if we found everything all right. I don’t know if this is normal — definitely isn’t for me — and I appreciated it greatly. It’s hard to maintain that enthusiastic energy after a long day at work.
Jasmine: We picked this hotel for a staycation for their water slide, and stayed in their king suite room. The room looked like it recently just got a redone. The room was very clean and neat. My husband who’s usually very picky was super happy too. The slide was one of the highest one we could find in the city. It was awesome! We will definitely be back.Nearby activities: We didn’t eat at the restaurants at the hotel, but instead went to another restaurant at Ye’s Buffet. We went on a Sunday evening, and there was so much selection! Chinese food, Japanese Sushi and lots of western food too. There’s something for everyone! We loved it! Everything was freshly made! If we stay back at the hotel, we will most likely go to this restaurant again.
Sammy Kowalchuk: Rooms: Clean but dated. Could not adjust the air conditioner only turn it on or off with a light switch. Had mini fridge but no freezer.Noteworthy details: Ordering from DoorDash front desk would not allow delivery drivers to drop food off at hotel room door which was a total pain. All orders had to be left with front desk.Poor water stream with the shower which made it difficult to rinse off hair/body.Front desk staff were all very kind.
Reborn Unicorn: Played at playmakers gaming lounge. They close daily at midnight which is really not a good idea considering the majority of vlt play happens from 10pm to 2pm.

K M: Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Room was so clean and welcoming, staff were delightful and helpful. Denise was exceptionally wonderful and helped me out when I had car trouble and had to stay an extra night. Plus, the slushies are awesome. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe staying here. I will definitely be back anytime I am passing through.
Edward M: Way better than other Super 8s I've stayed at. Newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Friendly staff, and welcoming for my dogs with a little treat bag. Delicious grab and go breakfast! They've got games too, although I don't think they were available during covid. Fitness centre is big and we'll equipped, with equipment in great shape. Hot tub!
Sharon Hamilton: My husband and I stayed in a kitchenette suite for four days in July and next time we come to Winnipeg we will stay here again. This is a fabulous hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and hard-working. Everything is clean: the room, the stairways, the hallways, the fitness centre, the laundry room. They provide free 24 hour coffee and tea, slushies all day, and lemon water in the afternoon. The 4-hour breakfast has lots of variety and they use washable dishes with very little plastic waste. Even the yogurt comes in a dispenser. The room was compact but well designed so there was lots of space--and shampoo etc dispensers in the bathroom instead of little bottles. Having two sinks and a full size fridge was great. The fitness centre has a lot of different machines, including weight machines. The hot tub was big and worked well. Our room faced the #1 Highway so with the window open it was pretty loud, but with the window closed it was fine. The air conditioning worked well. My only suggestion is to put a sign in the laundry room to say how long the washer and dryer take to run their cycle so you know when to come back. They don't do housekeeping unless you ask for it, but they did check to see if we needed anything. The whole atmosphere is cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.Safety: The hotel and area felt very safe.Walkability: Lots of restaurants and a mall within walking distance. Easy to drive to anywhere because you're on the main Street through a Winnipeg. You can walk to the Assiniboine River through a nice neighborhood south of the hotel.

Daniel Jolic: Location is good right off the Trans Canada Highway. The rooms were comfortable and clean. However, it hard to lug the bags up and down the stairs due to lack of elevator. Also, the continental breakfast was not the best - no eggs/meat/potatoes. Overall, it was decent.

Really nice Ficus trees that have grown huge from the nice natural light that give it a neat atmosphere. The pool and hot tub are perfect temperatures and there’s a neat sitting area to hang out at as well.The evening Manager on duty was very accommodating and hospitable.It ain’t no 5 star hotel but the price is right for a decent place.

Frank O: When my wife first walked in to book our room she was met by friendly staff and offered a latte by the hotel manager followed by a friendly comment. I was a little concerned about noise from a room next to the pool but pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. Clean and comfortable. Basic breakfast in the morning to carry on after a comfortable sleep.
