They are also the only scrap yard I know of in Winnipeg that has their prices posted on the website which is a BIG deal to me, it saves me having to phone in, and saves them getting called about it which is why I don't know why others do it. They are missing some prices of the more obscure things but that's not really a big deal. When it's not busy the guy's at the small scale have been very helpful in teaching me things like organizing properly. Highly recommended!

Jordan Charles: First time getting rid of a disassembled gazebo with an aluminum frame. 70lbs of aluminum was going in the garbage when a friend suggested going here.I called. They were very helpful. I went in person in my car with the aluminum and the process was straightforward and easy. The staff were very friendly. And I was paid almost $50 to not throw my aluminum in the garbage!If I had scrap metal again, I would definitely take it here.

Randilin Goldenleaf: I had never been before so I found the steps involved a little confusing where do I drop off the different materials how do I sort and so on. Some some type of signage would have been helpful, there might have been some but I did not see it. Having done it once now I will certainly be back to do it again and encourage my friends and family to do this.

Kayla Flockton: We are a commercial use user of Emterra, and I just wanted to say what an asset Todd is to the team of Emterra. He provides excellent customer service, is quick to respond, and addresses any concerns we may have. We are very happy with our services.
Lief Palmi: What bugs me is the behaviour of the clients. I look and see a long suburban street of near empty blue and grey bins that takes the truck forever to collect and is hard on the men.We take roughly 4-5 weeks to fill a blue bin and 8 weeks to fill a grey bin since we started composting in the yard. I phoned 311 and they said you ONLY need plastic bags for dust and animal waste. So since your garbage will be dry from the composting, no need for plastic garbage bags!In Wolsley I saw very sloppy/messy garbage boys. In Corydon I have outstanding workers ever since they started. They would even empty my bins when not wheeled out, so now I hide them, till their full.
