Things ran very smoothly and efficiently, we actually recorded a bit more than we planned because we ended up having extra time.The acoustics of the rooms and the variety of spaces was fantastic, plus there's a ton of awesome vintage gear at your disposal.Will definitely record here again in the future!

Doug McArthur: I recently had two songs mixed at Private Ear. This is my second time working with John Paul. I came back to him without hesitation because I know I can trust him to make the right choices, even with minimal guidance. He has an innate ability to place instruments in the sonic landscape of a song so they feel natural, and his approach to applying effects is always in service of the performance and never feels templated or cookie-cutter. On top of the excellent, polished and thoughtfully-done mixes, the studio as a team communicated with me throughout the process, so I was never left wondering about the status of anything. They’re transparent and upfront about their pricing and the terms as well. I could put down hundreds more words here to praise Private Ear, but it's not necessary! Their work speaks for itself.
