Kathryn always makes sure that modifications are done so I can still participate. I never feel self conscious, out of place or less than anyone else. Additionally, the group workouts are small , at the most 12 people. They become friends and like family. We share are hardships and our victories. We hang out outside the gym. I highly recommend Blue Sky to anyone wanting a physical workout and a supportive relationship.

my2cents worth: I've had my share of trainers over the years and I have to say, Flex Fitness is the cream of the crop. A+++ Ali is super passionate about his business and paired me with Ryan who helped me build muscle, while managing injuries. Ryan uses a personalized approach, harnessing your strengths and weaknesses to foster progression. Many of the people training with Flex have been doing so for 10+ years and it's like a family - which says a lot. These guys aren't weekend certified trainers, they're university educated in the field of exercise, sports science and kinesiology with 20+ years of practical experience. I have never been more pleased with my programming and results. Keep up the good work.

Both Joel and his wife are such genuinely nice people. A lot of the time it doesn't feel like I'm working out because of the great conversations I have with him, but I definitely feel it the next day. Joel is great with answering any of your questions regarding dieting and training. His answers are definitely backed with post-secondary sciences and personal experience. The location is easy to get to since that intersection has lights. The parking lot doesn't have lines but you can park right in front. I was most impressed by their app. It's pretty, it's easy to use, it makes scheduling your sessions WAY easy, and there are workouts on the app that you can do at home! Overall, I would definitely recommend this gym. I can tell that these people genuinely do want to help because they give advice that helps you be better at working out and eating at home.

I was coming over from another program and Calvert has provided me with the structure and accountability that I needed to continue my weight loss progress and increase my fitness level. David Normandale: I had doubts as to how good this could be considering the level of program I chose is all remote. It's good to be wrong. I have worked through the first month of the 90 day weight loss/two belt notches program & while it does require commitment, I am delighted with results. One notch in the belt has already occurred. I have some exercise limitations due to age & past surgeries but Mitch Calvert has modified and substituted where necessary. He is in daily contact, there is group support, and weekly check-in's based on your reporting to him. Highly recommended.

Tamara Wells: Mitch and his team of trainers run a tight ship and have given me all the tools to be successful. I have lost inches and when I follow his process feel all the better for it! I have had more success with Mitch thus far than with WW or Noom, each I have done more than once. My successes would be faster if at times I were vigilant with the process. That is on me though. My body photos are showing the results and my husband is complimenting me on my strength, stamina and cheekbones!

Christina Stratman: Calvert Fitness has been a game changer for me! I have tried so many different approaches to losing weight and getting healthier in the past and never seen even close to the results I have in the past 6 weeks in the program. I was borderline diabetic, after 8 weeks, my blood sugar is back to normal, my family doctor was quite amazed. I also lost 15 lbs and 3 inches off my waist. My old clothes started to fit again. I became stronger and love the complements I was getting. It was very hard during the first week for someone like me who never went to any gym, but if you persevere, you will surely reap the rewards. Donna Maxwell: I wasn’t sure what to expect at Fit Body. I was extremely surprised with the format of the workout program. Various stations, lots of variety and coach led guidance all with good music selection.The facility is clean and well organized and the members I have worked out with are supportive and helpful. I truly believe this is a facility where it is not necessary to be wearing the “ cute little gym outfits” you really only need shorts and a t- shirt. I would recommend Fit Body boot camp if you want a place that is non- judgemental.

Tara Cobbett: 35 minutes a day has changed my life! The coaches are amazing! I have bad knees and from day 1 they have provided me modifications or alternates whenever I need them. After 4 years, they keep me motivated to keep going.

A few days later, I received an email and a text message from Derek enquiring about my interest. I responded to his email and advised him of the problem. He then offered me 14 days free trial and I misunderstood a few things. However, the part I really loved and admired was the fact that he communicated with me through my 14 days trial; cleared up my misunderstandings, encouraged me along the way, and gave me some helpful tips. Second thing I love is the connection an individual has with the coaches. I felt like I was apart of this community forever. I felt like the first day was it for me, but at the end of the workout, I was told I did well and it will get better with time. Randall & Lisa Newman: Took the 1st step in getting back to the gym and looking after my health. Thought I would try a different way to workout. Loved the coaching through the entire workout, motivational. If you're like me, and need guidance and support to get to the gym, tell you what to do, how and when to do it, and do it safely; then this is the place to be. The atmosphere is great. Clean environment and not only friendly staff, but gym members actually encouraging you along the way. I feel that I am currently at my heaviest weight wise, but determined to focus on strength and toning.

Came in on time and had a chance to get my body weight and stuff measured. I didn’t realized how much I weigh because I haven’t really weighed myself for a while But it’s all good, everyone has a starting point. I was looking at everyone wondering how they have so much energy at 5am and so wide awake!The instructor is kind, she greeted me and helped me with my body posture and with some of the excercise that i’m not as familiar with. The receptionist is friendly. Everyone were so cheerful. I got to work out with my friends that I don’t see much. I had a great time, just need to bring more water for tomorrow. The routine can get you really thirsty 😂😂😂 It’s a nice set up, kinda like a relay in highschool and you have no choice but to go and do the next step. In a snap just when you’re just about to complain you’re tired, it’s over! You’ve actually done something active for the day. Unlike the gym, you’re 10 minutes on the threadmill can feel like forever!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I really like the routine, it feels like you’re in a Team and everyone is doing their part, so I felt like I had to do my part. It can be intimidating seeing everyone so full of energy but they were all so smiley and friendly, giving me high fives and cheering. I was so focused on trying to get the routine, I probably didn’t look like I’m happy but I was! 😂😂 Then we took a picture right after the workout and I was like, OMG I must look like a red tomato 🍅 😂😂 All good! All good! 👍🏼I forgot to say thank you and bye to the instructor🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll have to thank her tomorrow for a great workout! I’m happy I joined to be part of a great Team and I’m proud of myself that I am doing this. Thanks Fit Club! ♥️

harpieunbeatable: I like working out in this gym because there's always just a few people working out. Tons of weight equipment but what made it top-notch is their personal training. Shoutout to my personal trainer, Ivan! Ivan is an awesome personal trainer. After discussing my fitness goals, he immediately prepared a workout program for me, as well as a nutrition program. He checks up on me all the time and asks whether I’ve reached my calorie intake, so you can tell that he really cares for his clients. Also, since I’m a beginner, he would always show me the proper form and if I don’t get it right, he won’t get tired repeating it. He’s very knowledgeable and with his experience, trust me you’re in great hands. Very recommendable. 10/10

In terms of safety the staff are diligent with their booking system, sanitation, and are always exploring the different ways to improve the service and safety of the facility.Finally, all of these positive items are supported by and facilitated by the amazing staff. I’ve been at this gym almost since it was open, and Cody and the team there are always trying to improve the gym, ranging from checking in with members, getting feedback, adding equipment, offering advice, and more. Truly, the reason this gym is one of the best is because of the staff at Movement.If you are looking for a new gym, Movement is the place to be.

Erin: I’ve had memberships to many gyms over the years. AF lindenwoods has a very inclusive feel to it. Everyone is welcome there. I have cancelled memberships in the past at other gyms for feeling like I’m not welcome and I don’t belong. The entirety of the staff at AF are always kind and genuine. There is significant improvement in my workouts, thanks to amazing trainers who take time to guide you on technique and motivate you to do your best every time. Best 30 minutes of the day invested in myself.

Erin Kennedy: 9Round is hands down the most fun workout I've tried. It's challenging, engaging, and only takes half an hour. The trainers on staff are knowlegable, motivating, and take the time to make sure you're doing everything correctly. Highly recommend!

Linda Kadeshuk: I find Amber and her team of trainers great. They are friendly and positive and will correct me if I am not doing an exercise or move incorrectly. If you have not tried kickboxing, you should give it a try. There are no set times to workout. Trainers are always there to help and motivate you.

Mazen: Excellent cardio & conditioning workout and it's only 30 minutes! Great for losing weight or increasing endurance & stamina. Also, you get to practice punching/kicking. It's not exactly kickboxing training like 1-1 matches, but you get to practice kickboxing exercises. Price seems a bit steep but it could be worth it depending on your fitness goals and level of self-motivation. It's also likely that the higher memberships offer more value than the cheaper ones.

You get what you put into each workout in my opinion and it's hard not to push yourself at 9Round. Great coaches to keep you motivated very simple instructions and a genuinely fun way to get a good sweat going. I'd like if the price was lower but you get what you pay for in my opinion and you definitely get the value of the membership out of the workouts. See you guys next Saturday.
