The trail at the river access point at Bourkevale Community Centre (100 Ferry Road), depending on snow conditions, extends from the Assiniboine Park foot bridge to Route 90 (Kenaston) bridge (~3km long). This section of the Assiniboine River Trail is maintained by volunteers whom we have partnered with, so show your thanks and take care of the trails!
The Ice Trike is the best ice bike to start for beginners (although they are all easy to ride) since it has a dual ski design allowing for a sturdy ride along with a rear fat tire for better traction. The adjustable seat makes this choice suitable for those 7+.
The Classic Ice Bike is what you might come to think as the original ice bike. With only a pair of closely positioned blades attached to the steering wheel along with the rear tire, this bike requires a little bit of balance. Not to worry though, with the supporting frame acting as training wheels, you'll feel confident riding this model. The fixed seat makes this choice suitable for those 10+, however the long bench, back support, and side foot rests allows for a child (aged 5-10) to ride along!
The Tandem Ice Bike is perfect for date night.... with or without your toddler. The long bench with two sets of pedals, handlebars, and breaks, allows for a cozy ride on the ice. Feel like taking a break? Your partner can continue to pedal and operate the steering while you take in the sights (bike can be operated individually as well). The centre of the bench seat has room for a toddler to be buckled in, feet positioned on supporting rests, and their hands to hold on to the toy wheel.

I have even come for a work team building afternoon as well and my co-workers loved it!The only feedback I would give is that it would even be better if it had a small change room and water bottle filling station.The bathroom wasn’t very clean, and is the only place to change into your active wear.Otherwise it’s a brilliant set up and so much fun!

We came as a group of 7.The reason I give u 4 stars is cos it stinks of sweat and we aren't allowed to take water with us, so by time the 75 minutes are done, we were sooooo thirsty!!!Also, some of the games would say "to play the next level, press on the green button;" and we would press on it and nothing would happen, so we tried again, and then it would say "please exit the room in 10 seconds" - so yeah, that was a pain
Michael Dube: A great way to get a workout! Wear your gym clothes!We prefer this location over the other as this one the rooms are better sound proofed. Having people screaming when you're trying to listen to prompts takes away from the experience... that doesn't happen at this location. I prefer the layout of this one as well.
Aaron Tsang: Always a blast, but sometimes can be quite busy causing other groups to boot you from the gaming rooms. If possible, going at off hours will greatly enhance your experience.

Vids Tube: If you are in Winnipeg this is a must do thing in winter. The tobogganing hill is excellent kids had a lot of fun. The snow maze itself is a fun one to solve with family. There are nice warming huts with ice skulptures. Be sure you are properly dressed as it does get quite chilly. There is a nice refreshment cafe, washroom, ample parking etc. But over all ita worth it.
