Josh Friesen: We played there June 20. Decent space with private bathroom in back. We were 19 people in total, wouldn't want much more. Good stage set up and good mixture of tables and standing area.
Kyra Thiele: Went for Queer Bingo and had a blast! They had a decent beer selection, which was awesome for this craft beer lover. My only complaint would be that they ran out of food options early on in the night, but I think that was because they probably weren't expecting the huge turnout they got. But overall, fun place!

Kalie: Very friendly atmosphere and good live music on Sundays. The Blues/Swing/Solo dancing is great! Lots of dancers go here. The dance floor is a little small, but it is a good quality floor for a club. There is also a bar and a billiards table in the back.

Live music, good beers, great venue, multiple floors, pool tables, seated areas, and a packed dance floor in front of the stage leave loads of room for plenty of fun. The second floor heaves when classic bangers are played!Side note, as an Aussie, kings head was an awesome place to meet new friends! Do yourself a favour and give this neat little pub a fair crack!

2 Baked Girls Potcast: Great atmosphere and good selection of beer on tap.We went on a Thursday evening which was Wing Night so it got busy. Great prices on domestic draft too.Our servers name was Ainzli, she was incredible!!! Highly recommend sitting in her section if you get the chance.
Don Swain: 3 of us walked in for a pint, no acknowledgement from our server, she was too busy standing and chatting with her friends at their table....15mins before we got our orders taken....pints of Coors were on sale for under $5, so we ordered a few rounds of them with some wings....my wife paid our bill and told me when we were driving away down portage that we got charger full price because it was 10mins after 6pm....funny how that works....

The atmosphere is great to meet and hang with friends!Kosmo’s is serving food there as of late and their tater tot’s are KILLER!! Loaded with toppings and they come piping hot to your table. The Smokey Tots have really nice corn and jalapeño bites and the vegetarian tots had a nice spicy sauce that was very addicting.

Garnet Suss: Excellent locally owned business that deserves it's growing popularity!Great food that's priced on par with other pub style joints, excellent beer selection, they book good bands, the staff are friendly and attentive, and if you're in the mood you can do some bowling! They have a small patio but the front opens up to the outdoors, so you still get the feeling of being outside. Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis is one of my favorite places to visit, and now we've got a similar place right in Winnipeg!The owners are wonderful too. It's the perfect addition to Winnipeg!

Treena Chabot: This is a neat place to hang out whether or not you wish to bowl. Very family friendly and the patio is one of the only dog friendly ones in the city. Wings were pretty good, spinach and artichoke dip good too. Beer was cold!

KB Bastt: Food generally great/great quality, good serving sizes!Service usually isn’t great.Prices on the high side, but at this establishment you generally actually get what you pay for!The nachos are great and a must-have - very respectable sizing.
