I am happy Winnipeg has a place that you can get Japanese cheesecakes, this is a good place to start if you are really wanting to try it.I have tried many Japanese cheesecakes around Canada, US, and Japan. This one is not really fluffy and a bit dense. To it’s credit, I do like it is creamy, but it is not the jiggly, fluffy, and light cheesecake that cotton cheesecakes are supposed to be. It is too much cream cheese flavour when it is supposed to be more balanced. Delicious cheesecake, just not cotton cheesecake.It is a bit confusing to find using GPS and was shocked to see it is a random warehouse type of building and not a cafe or even have a display where you can see cakes like in the photos. They basically had no selection when I came in on Saturday, except for the original cotton cheesecake and ube flavour. No one was at the front when we arrived and it was dark and sus looking not gonna lie. 💀 I was very disappointed with lack of selection and even more so with them discontinuing the cheese tarts which was the main reason for going across the city to drive to this place. I moved to Winnipeg and missing cheese tarts a lot, and finally thought I could get some 😭 the hunt continues..

We purchased cream puffs, mini cheesecakes and a bubble tea slush. The cream puffs and cheesecakes were delicious and not overly sweet, which we really enjoyed. The matcha bubble tea slush was rather disappointing though - big ice chunks throughout and very limited matcha flavour.
