Michael Kowalson: If you want authentic Greek food that is all fresh made ingredients, this is the place for you! We got the Pappas Platter for two and a pizza. The pizza was all fresh made ingredients, including the crust and sauce. It is a wonderful crust that is very thin and high-quality ingredientsEverything looked so appealing we had to dug in before remembering to take photos!The Pappas platter seems pricey on the front at $75 for two but don't let that dissuade you - it is really enough food for at least three including an amazing lemon-rice soup, an appetizer, spuvlaki, tsarziki, Greek ribs, spanikopita, Greek salad and more. And every element was exceptional, not a one was sub-par in any way.Despite being full we did order the lemon meringue pie and baklava. They were equally well made and wonderful as the meal - worth saving room for.I can not recommend this restaurant more highly - you will not be disappointed.

B Gray: Very clean well kept place. Owners take good pride in their restaurants.It isn't an authentic Greek restaurant but the food is still great. The waitress that' has been here was also the waitress I had a couple of years back before covid. 11 years and she may be the only one if not the only 2 or 3 staff they have on the floor. The bathrooms are well kept and there is accessibility for those who need it and a bathroom as well. The area is good enough to be in, although I am not sure about at night but it's a great restaurant

They immediately offered to make the large order on the spot and were SO pleasant to work with. Every bit of the meal was amazing - great quality ingredients and huge value for your menu. Made a special meal even more special and the best takeout we've had ever. Also, Keto menu is incredible and worth checking out even for non keto people - I swear I had a whole bundle of fresh perfectly cooked asparagus with my meal and I'll take that over potatoes any day.

Stephen De Beir: I have been to Nikos twice now and the gyros are the best I've had in Winnipeg - the lamb and beef was flavourful, the veggies were fresh, and great sauces. Our group really enjoyed the lemon soup too.It is obvious they take pride in their food and establishment. Service was great and the beer being served in a chilled glass is a nice touch; we will be back!

Michael Wagemakers: This is my favourite restaurant in Winnipeg. Delicious home cooked meals served with love by Theodora, the owner and her son in the kitchen. The chicken souvlaki is so tender and tasty and you could have fries but don’t, have the roasted lemon potatoes, creamy and sublime. The Greek salad is unique, a light dressing with tons of feta and a few olives, the real ones with pits. This place is my home away from home and even though I live in BC I still come here when I am in town. Eat well and be part of the family.

Cindy Stewart: We were traveling through and took our time to choose a special Greek restaurant to enjoy our 33rd anniversary dinner. WOW…what a perfect choice!!Everything was absolutely delicious and such a fantastic atmosphere. Vasili, our server, was amazing and very attentive and friendly. Our appreciation goes out to every member of the staff and management for an evening that we will not forget!

Lots of vegan options, and many things can be easily adjusted to suit as well, including the new, awesome vegan chicken fingers, yessssss! Portion sizes are generous, and I always have leftovers. They are dog friendly on the patio too, which is super awesome for Winnipeg since most places are weirdly exclusionary with our furbabies. The vibe is great also, especially when the flaming saganaki comes out, smiles and laugh are as generous as the meals!Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegans, just ask the friendly staff!

If you can get in on a night when they have entertainment you’ll have an amazing time. We also had lunch here and we’re not disappointed. This needs to be on your must try list. Arthur D Lowry: there was no waiting even though the restaurant seemed quite busy. The burger was beyond compare! OMGosh the Greek salad was from another planet 🌎 and the fries were very good. One other thing I noticed was they brought vinegar to the table. This has only happened at one other restaurant we have been to. The service very good and it was very nice to go to a restaurant and you are not bugged all the time with questions. We were asked once how the meal was and again if we would like anything else. We both really like this type of service where you are able to enjoy the food and talk.We were only able to finish one burger. Already looking forward to lunch tomorrow and splitting the burger.The price I would say is inline with other restaurants offered during Le Burger week. 180 restaurants to choose from.We will definitely go back again to try the regular menu.Our view is that this a MUST place to go! HINT: We suggest making a reservation. Enjoy!!

I very much enjoyed it.The staff were friendly, and very relaxed and friendly.I only knocked off a point on the atmosphere, and I'm sure given time it will be corrected no issue, they're in the middle of renovations, so there is building materials to navigate around, and the bathroom was a bit tricky to find. But that's not what I was there for. The food was great and the staff were great, so don't let a little atmosphere get in the way if you want to have some Mediterranean food. I really did enjoy it.And I'm quite sure that when the renovations are complete, it'll be fantastic again.All I have to say is don't judge a book by its cover. The atmosphere dock is just a minuet technical critique, don't let that dissuade you from trying this lovely food.Thanks, I enjoyed my visit.
