Blufish Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Nikki B: Blufish is one of the best sushi restaurants in Winnipeg, when you compare what you get for the price and what you get at other places. I love this place. There's a reason it's been around for so long. The cocktails are delicious and well priced. Try the specials they are fantastic. The fish is so fresh and amazing, we had a great dinner like always. Followed by a lovely walk in the Exchange District.

Andre DeBattista: Quiet and clean space in the historic east exchange district, near the waterfront. Nice atmosphere if you're not so outgoing but want a trendy meal spot with top quality fresh fish and seafood and some original specialty menu items you wont find at the average sushi restaurant.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian rolls, edamame beans, agedashe tofu, wakame salad and tempura are all good options

Wilson Hendrawan: Good food, good ambiance. I like the White truffle tuna carpaccio. Definitely a unique menu item that you don't find anywhere else.

Geoffrey Snider: Been here many times before plays and sometimes make the long journey just for the great sushi. Find the visited once and feel expert enough to review pretty odd. Blufish scallops, Spicy Ben, are favourites. I have eaten at most of the Sushi restaurants in Winnipeg over the years and this is the most tasty.

Saad Tassoufra: Great customer service, Natalia is great and very professional she helped us and answered all of our questions before placing our order. Thank you! And keep up the good work

Sushi Kuni: what do users think?

Mudabbir Ahmed: Super friendly staff and a feel like home vibe. With free appetizers. Clean and neat felt very premium quality service overall. If you ever go I would recommend TNT salmon sushi, hands down best in Winnipeg.Vegetarian options: Has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options which in a whole attracts all sorts of customers.

하경원: I love their sashimi! Their salmon is always fresh, i’ve been meaning to try all their salmon related rolls. My personal favorite is tiger roll.Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate to the restrictions.

Sheilah Restall: Sushi Kuni was our favourite sushi joint pre-pandemic, and then, unfortunately due to the pandemic and just the business of life, we haven't been able to return in a long time. We finally went again the other day, worried that it wouldn't live up to our memory of how great it was. Fortunately, I am so happy to post that it is still as absolutely delicious as it used to be! I cannot wait to go back again. We had an assortment of different rolls, sushi, sashimi.. And even this time got udon yaki, which was absolutely amazing. All the food was delicious.

Jonghun Cha: Food and service was perfect!!!! Server was super friendly and salmon was super fresh and good quality!!

Dwarf no Cachette Café & Gift: what do users think?

Glen Doty: I’m being a little generous at 4 to be honest. The dumplings were good, but the Miso soup was greasy and under flavoured. I’ll apologize for not taking the names to memory, but we had an octopus-based appetizer. The protein pieces that were by themselves were very good, but the ones in the ball shapes were undone by the poor cookery of filling. Chicken Kaarage was overly crunchy, to the point of concern for the inside of my mouth. Dish came with some tasty accompaniments, though.

Oleksandr Yaniuk: It doesn’t look like typical Japanese restaurant, more European; it doesn’t look fancy and luxury; it’s not big but very cozy place. And the food and flavours are amazing!Especially recommend ramen, okonomiyaki and takoyaki

Zetta: Good food and customer service. Place needs a bit of touch up.

Coworkers322: Simply the Best Ramen in WPG!!

e e: the gift shop was also super cute and nice to visit after eating!! the only thing I was sad about was us forgetting our takeout containers/leftovers on the counter cuz it was so tasty and we wanted to finish it plus it costed alot💔💔

Morgan Massicotte: with pork, rice noodles and a fresh soft boiled egg was prepared instead of the soya sauce infused one. The ramen was delicious. My spouse had the ramen combo 3: shoyu ramen extra spicy with gyoza and karage.

M L: One of the few Japanese restaurants in the city that's not serving just sushi. In fact, I don't think they serve sushi at all.Been ordering take out here for years and food has always been consistent. We decided dine in for the first time in a while. The food was even better fresh and the service was great. The interior is very cute and eclectic. They had a store upstairs selling cute Japanese accessories and knickknacks. Not sure if they still have that though. They have a fairly large menu with lots of option. I recommend the Donburis and Okonomiyakis. The portion is pretty big for the price.

faraz ahmed: , multiple sushi items and the black sesame ice creamPros: one of the best ramen in Winnipeg; rolls are fresh and tastyCons: super busy on weekdays, the server might forget your order

Jerilyn Huson: Life-changing ramen. Wild Pacific salmon. Attentive professional service. And the chef is a master of food experiences. Go now. Then go again tmrw.

Explorefood 715: Went to Winnipeg on my birthday for the weekend & we did not plan ahead where to eat, just want to be spontaneous & we decided to have sushi. We checked online to see which one had the best reviews & saw Yujiro, we took chances because we did not have reservation but it was early so we had better chance. We got in, small restaurant outside downtown but it was clean, friendly staff. Everything we order in the menu was super good very very fresh. I think the best sushi & Japanese restaurant in Winnipeg, we would go back for sure.

Dan Johnston: Excellent quality. The tuna tacos gets you four small tacos in deep fried wonton wrapper shells, topped with a generous chunk of seared tuna with a teensy, altogether appropriately-sized bit of tobiko/relish combo. Really very good and well worth the money.Staff was personable and attentive. Nice folks. Order was served promptly and was very fresh.

Aj K: I was so sad to hear that the restaurant is now closed. I loved this place, and Chris is a genius❣ He makes the freshest and tastiest dishes ever❣These were my dishes. I highly recommend them. The twist on the dynamite roll, which is the cucumber on the outside absoulte genius. The salmon wraps are to die for. I just melt into puddy, eating the food here. Thank you, Chris and staff, for always being amazing❣ Your amazing food and wonderful atmosphere will be greatly missed by me as well as many others.

Paul Nazareth: What a unique Tuna Tar Tar! Sure it was delicious and expertly prepared but the star was the flavour of the Taro Nori side chips! Put them together and the dish is more unique than the many high-end spots that serve this. And the Forks Market is a MUST visit where everyone can get what they want from kids to seniors, picky and adventurous eaters alike!Highly recommend this spot.

andres dorado: The panko chicken rice bowl was fantastic! I feel that it could’ve used a little more sauce however, as it was a pretty dry dish. Luckily, it comes with a side of miso soup.Recommended dishes Ramen …

Ki Lam: Came for work training and was craving for Asian food. So stop here for a hot soup noodles as the weather is very cold. Not authentic but at least it has a thick pork belly meat and hot soup served with seaweed and green onions gave the perfect look as a Japanese ramen. Squid pancake is also crispy and tasty.

IGI BBQ & Sushi Bistro: what do users think?

Sam Sam: It's a nice restaurant, clean, well set up. It was a full restaurant, and they probably could have used at least one more server. They were very quick to bring out the first round of dishes for all you can eat foods. But they were fairly slow on the follow-up orders. Some dishes were just not the greatest quality for what you would expect. Some things that should be served cold were actually warm 😞. We had to ask to have our stove top to be changed as it was just too dirty for the food to cook on anymore. The menu for all you can eat is huge, like amazing and so many good choices. It was not quite up to the BC standards that I am used to, but it was good.

Lisa MK: to investigate and say they would take care of it. And did they ever! They offered us a complete reorder On-the-house!! UNHEARD of !!The sushi IS excellent flavorful and we enjoyed it very much this busy May long-weekend. They made time for us and were amazing. The staff were empathetic, courteous, fast, and gracious and we are definitely going back! They ALSO gifted us with a $10 certificate off of our next order....Thank You GINZA!I am grateful to have had the chance to meet you.

jerome desjarlais: Enjoyed my food. Will be back.

Dabuel: I have no issues with the store, I loved their food, and certainly would like to dine in one day. However, I did have a order processed on a day they weren't operating, which was my mistake I just want to bring awareness to the ueats. Kinds dodgy as of right now, no order confirmation or receipt. Plus the app doesn't want to work for me.

Jing Zhou: Definitely a must try in Winnipeg. The food is delicious and the service is great. Thank you very much for the present for my daughter!

Yuliia Harabach: Very tasty sushi, thank you ❤️

Wasabi Sabi: what do users think?

L. Lau: Excellent sushi and non sushi items alike. Often times out of things like uni.Spicy mango prawns are a must. Salmon carpaccio is a crowd favorite, even for those individuals who usually shy away from sashimi. The maholo roll has a fresh feel to it from the mango and sweet minty drizzle.Ice cream and desserts are a bit generic. Would recommend dessert elsewhere.

Winnipeg Foodie: were very fresh and tasty.Overall, the experience was great. The food is on the $$$$ pricer side, but the quality, service and ambiance is worth it!We look forward to coming back soon!

canadabeau: Still a good place to go for sushi, although their prices are quite high. They've reduced their menu compared to prior years so I wasn't as impressed on this last visit. Spicy Mango Prawns is still one of my fave dishes.Vegetarian options: Some veggie friendly optionsKid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly

Stephen McCreary: for 15+ years now. I can't say many bad things about it - still probably the best sushi in Winnipeg - but the quality does seem to have gone generally down over the years..They've also removed some of the best items from the menu, like the sushi pizza and the prairie fire roll..It's also *very* expensive. If it wasn't for the nostalgia factor I'd probably rate lower - but yeah, still a great place worth visiting.

Ricky Schmitt: Absolutely fantastic! Best tasting Japanese food I’ve tried in Manitoba. And great service too!

A C: I ordered takeout this week. The rolls I got were great, fresh, however I felt pressured by the woman to choose something so I quickly decided and would of chosen more or something new if i felt welcomed. Will have a look at the menu ahead of time if I go back.

Mary F: Highly recommend. Great menu and prices, very attentive staff.Vegetarian options: Delicious salads, veggie sides, and vegetarian sushi mainsParking: Ample nearby parking, more than thirty spots in the spacious lot

Madi V (madiv): This is the best sushi I've EVER HAD! Nevermind from a takeout place. It was sooooo fresh and yummy. I can't wait to go back!

Dan Krumholz: Ok. Hands down. THE best sushi rolls in Winnipeg. Amazing quality in every roll and dish that they have. I just can't believe they don't have a restaurant.Customer service 10/10I could eat here for the rest of my life... haha

Kim: Great variety of grab and go sushi. Good portions of sushi. Very friendly staff. My go to place for sushi when I have a craving for lunch.

michelle.: pls nobody go here. It's literally the best salmon, crab, calamari everything sushi. I don't want anyone to take this away from me it's so tasty. The salmon tastes fresh and is mouth watering, the sauce is beyond tasty and wel balanced with its spice and the tempura is sometime purple which looks p cool too. Idk. Hella tasty and none of you should eat it. Go away. thank u.oh also the dude at the front is super sweet and very nice. Sushi is so hard to make this good, especially takeout. if you're going to ignore me and go, tip ya locals well. okbye

Joanne Kim: The sushi is clean, fresh and they don't over pack it with rice.If you want it for lunch, head there early, because they sell out fast. Yes, it is that good.

Mitch: Hidden downtown gem. Generous portions and tasty. Reasonable price. Great staff

Anika Maria: Fresh sushi and tastes good!

KCB: Bon Sushi is back -- still the same great quality and unique selections.support your local restaurants. This place is great value and great Sushi for lunch in downtown Winnipeg.Excellent freshness and quality. Large trays will easily make a nice lunch for two, so very good value here. Very fast and convenient.

Linda Mak: Incredibly delicious sushi for on-the-go! It's freshly made every morning and there's always a good selection. The guy who works there seems to work alone, so I hope he gets even more business so that he has company while making delicious food! He's also super nice. Go get yummy sushi if you're able to, it's worth it!Also, the price is really cheap for what you get. I've gone twice in a row now since they re-opened and the only downside is that it's going to be bad for my credit card...

Rookie Maquillage: They have pre-made or made-to-order sushi plates. Tasty. The price is reasonable. The guy who works the cashier and also prepares the sushi is very friendly.Pre-covid when there were a lot of people working in the exchange, they would sell the remaining sushi at discount at 3 pm.I hope the business survives this economic crisis.

Sushi Edoichi: what do users think?

rcarloto: This has been our go-to sushi throughout the pandemic, and we've always recommended it to friends and family ever since, gaining them new regular customers! We love the size and fillings of their rolls, and we've always gotten their platters. However, we found that they recently changed them; they've created set platters instead of customers being able to customize them from a great selection - which was a huge draw in for us as well as others. This was quite a saddening change to discover! Hope you guys would consider changing that back!

Sarah Barker: and i realllllly wish they had a seaweed salad available. will definitely order again!

Brad Nykorak: Amazing fresh ingredients. You can tell they use quality products from their fresh veggies, THICK sashimi, great packaging.. and even their takeout soy sauce isn’t the generic flavourless stuff.Great job Sushi Edoichi! Keep up the great work and I’ll keep referring friends and family your way.

Bruce MacSpurren: Great value. Large portions and fresh ingredients. Highly recommend.Recommended dishes Roll …

Miss Uhh Liss: . They actually give you very generously rationed rolls. My boyfriend said the chicken roll tasted like a whole chicken wing was in one piece. The salmon sashimi was some of the best I’ve had in the city. We will definitely be ordering again!

Ulyana Kotska: Found this restaurant on skip and fell in love. Picked up at the location, staff was nice and restaurant tidy. Quality of the food is great for the price.

Jonathan Epp: , but I want to call out a small thing. When we got our sushi

Heidi Schwarzkopf: Very fresh, excellent choices, loved the green dragon roll and the rainbow roll! We called in our order to pick up. The takeout counter is located inside a grocery store that specializes in Asian ingredients. What a great find! Next time I'm in Winnipeg I'll be coming back here!
