Johise Namwira: COBW is a community organization that enhances the personal growth and development of black women and girls in Manitoba. I served as the Director of Programming and I enjoyed my time working on the board. Their events, meetings and workshops fostered a positive networking and learning environment for all attendees.

Rox G: I am a new member of the Congress of Black Women. My experience has been that this is a lovely group of women who are focused on sisterhood, fellowship, and uplifting black women in Manitoba. They also offer a scholarship to support post secondary students.
