Vivian: Beautiful restaurant - really love the decor and vibes here. The breakfast is simple, nothing super outstanding - if you’re looking something simple, this would be it.
Katie K: I had to call to find out how to get inside, to find out it's through the hotel lobby. Once in the lobby I was confused where to go due to lack of signs, and found it's a situation where they shared the same internal entrance with the Tavern.I found the atmosphere to be too dark considering it was breakfast/brunch. It was more of a dreary, sad atmosphere.Service was fast and attentive. It was spectacular there. All questions were answered. Even my concern that the meat was wrong was addressed, as it wasn't what I was expecting. My water was refilled and I was given my own glass bottle for refills.The omelette of the day I found to be bland and rubbery. This made me question if it was made fresh. Though it was huge portions, which was unexpected for the price, I simply couldn't get through it due to the lack of flavour and the unappealing look of the omelette.I intend to give the restaurant another try some day despite this first impression.

G Quinn: Our family loves it here and you really cannot beat the Chicken Fingers and fries here. The portion sizes are really good and more than enough for hungry teenage boys. The staff are all very friendly.Street parking can sometimes be an issue. A parkade is available beneath the Delta Hotel.

This week, in celebration of burger week, I took the plunge into their touted burger, and it was an absolute revelation. The first bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, with the patty being the star of the show. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and boasting a rich depth of flavor, it’s evident that a great deal of thought and craft went into its creation.The ambiance of The Wood Tavern complements the dining experience beautifully. Rustic yet refined, it offers a cozy environment that feels both welcoming and upscale.If you’re a burger enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates high-quality food, The Wood Tavern’s burger week offering is a must-try. But don’t stop there; given the excellence of the burger, I’m eager to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended.
Jack Wood: Came in for a beer when I got it it was warm, and flat before I could ask for a different one, the bartender walked away and didn't come back. I had to ask for someone else to give me the bill and left. The bar looks nice though good atmosphereEdit: managment was quick to fix all issues and address all concerns. Would definitely recommend to anyone going for a night out.

Wai Chan: Initial visitThey were very accommodating and friendly.I did not make it up to the main dining area as I believe there was a party going on, but we ate in the lounge instead.We went for poutine week. Toscana Meatball Poutine. It was a good poutine, but we were thrown off by the aromatic basil that they used as a garnish. The actual poutine did not carry that flavor which was a shame, because it seemed to go very well with it. The fries weren't as crispy as I would have liked. Our favorite part was the meatball, but which we could eat seperately.Service 5 🌟Ambiance 4 🌟Food 3.5 🌟We gave this a 4 star with hopes of returning to see their other offerings.
