Winnipeg Fringe Festival: what do users think?

Annie Hallson: The Fringe Fest is one of my favorite parts of summer in Winnipeg!!Great talent! Amazing shows!!

Nancy Felbel: Go see DRAG ME TO THE OPERA!Aida Cupcake “hits all the high notes”We loved it and it’s a must see!BRAVO!!

Greg C: as it goes into a lot of detail about tickets, shows, venues and basically everything. If you just show up totally uninitiated, you may find it a little confusing.I was very sad to see it cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, and I'm desperately hoping it'll be back for 2021!I'm very sad to see the Fringe has ALSO been cancelled for 2021! I hope it will be back someday. The memories live on.

Randy Hull: Something everyone should consider for mid July entertainment. Shows are funny, provocative, drama, and weird. But there is something for all ages, interest, and taste.

Jeff Koroluk: Some great shows, some not so great, but every one of them puts inva great effort. Common area needs bigger acts and more variety.

Andrew T: .I love this annual event!

Alynn Thompson: Family luvs to Fringe!

Heather Witherden: Best summertime fun in the Exchange district downtown: catch a show, meet up at the food trucks, repeat!

Karla Voth: Such an amazing festival! Highly recommend for anyone and everyone that enjoys a little theater and street performances

Charlotte Watkins: The Winnipeg Fringe is one of the best. I have always enjoyed going to the fringe. There is something that will appeal to almost everyone. Try it next year.

Irish C: Its always a blast !!! Good food, great music and entertainments... Best of all the theater plays are always worth watching....

Exchange Event Centre: what do users think?

Максим Шелест: Good place for party👌

Chris Hoquis: Rented out this venue for an evening local market event - Junel was our main point of contact and had walked us through all of the logistics prior. He and his team were very patient as we continuously brought up use cases and issues that we didn't have answers to that he navigated through proactively and with exceptional professionalism. Our event feedback from our attendees was outstanding as the "vibe" was continuously the highlight of the night. This is a venue that is a place I highly recommend for events, notably for meaningful and engaging networking. They have all of the structural setup to host any event, concert, and showcase of talent, we're truly appreciative for this local gem in our city. Thank you Junel, Andrew, and Exchange Event Centre staff, we will be back in September!!

Darcey P: Love this place! Great venue and staff.

haylee sinclair: Fantastic event centre! Always clean & well organized. All the staff are very friendly & the manager made sure to get us our bottle as fast as possible, even without any booking. Would definitely recommend for a night out with friends 👌🏻

Alisdair Histed: Great staff great venue. Would definitely recommend.

Serena Acton: Great venue! Great staff!!

Junel Trinidad: Great venue in the exchange district ands staff. Security is done well. Great variety of shows and events.

will west: Saw the Merkules show here on a Saturday night. The venue was clean and not over packed for a sold-out show. Security check was quick and no complaints. No wait for the coat check. Bartender was slow, but had to deal with tons of people so fully understandable.

Festival du Voyageur Inc.: what do users think?

Noel Nazareth: One of those Winnipeg Winter festival to be at.As much as they are rooted in tradition I wish they take their festival to the adjacent part of the river and in their space and have more modern things like skateboarding park + winter sports around the area they have to make it more interesting.

Laura Fehr: Awesome! So much fun! Festive, to great music.

Andrzej Wiewiora: Nice,well DONE NP.

Dennis Krahn: I went with my son's grade 3 class from Donwood. Very well organized, lots of fascinating things to see and do. The hoop dancing in particular was amazing!

Nikki B: We had such a lovely day at the Festival this Monday. The lines were short. We enjoyed some yummy treats. The kids loved the slides through the snow sculptures. The climb up sculptures were a big hit. There is nothing like maple taffy on a stick to round out a good way to spend a winter day in Manitoba.

Terry Bailer: The variety of music is something for everyone. Easy to get caught up in the atmosphere. Very friendly people.

Carter Dunstan: Great experience. Found it very informative. Had a lot of fun eating delicious food in the snow. The ice sculptors were lovely. I would recommend.

kim rouanet: Great experience at the festival du voyageur after these cancellations due to Covid. Good music and very good atmosphere of sharing with its French-speaking traveler who will share the techniques formerly used here in Canada.

Sidney Shapira: Hé!Ho! Félicitations au comité organisateur du Festival du Voyageur virtual, 2021. Congratulations to the organizing committee of this year's virtual Festival du Voyageur. My wife and I enjoyed three virtual concerts, pre-recorded and broadcast on Facebook and YouTube. We enjoyed having franco-manitobain, Indigenous and other local and Canadian artists brought right into our family room. I have difficulty with the cold and with slippery places, so I was thrilled to be able to be part of this celebration. The annual Beard Growing, Jigging and Fiddle competitions were held virtually. We especially enjoyed the program of Indigenous Artists from all across Canada.

Jubilee Place: what do users think?

Bryan Hubbard: Excellent venue to watch show.

Jennifer Fisher: A really nice venue. It was incredibly clean, and had decent acoustics. Parking was not the most efficient in design but could have been worse.

Katy unruh: Free parking ! Great acoustics . Good place for smaller and more intimate venues

Nikki B: I have been to Jubilee place for a number of MBCI hosted musicals, including Oliver and most recently Shrek. The space is great, and the sound has been good. I am so impressed with the quality of production that MBCI on these shows. It's as good as going to a professional event. There is so much talent in the school. Thank you for putting these on.The only downside is how small the reception space is. Gets very crowded. But that can't be helped.

Lovepreet Singh: Overall good experience. Parking fills out quick for a bigger event but that probably is on the organizers not the place itself. Seating is tight and you will feel cramped if you are big person

Cameron Patrick: I have attended a few events here over the years. The hall is nice, with a big stage and good views around the whole facility. The only two complaints I have are that the seats are a touch uncomfortable for longer performances and the entrance tends to bottleneck when a performance lets out.

Ernest Wiebe: Great theater set up .great student Christmas concert

Beth Syrnyk: I had not heard of this venue until I performed there last weekend! It is a lovely venue, lots of parking, every seat has a great view of the stage, acoustics are great and the sound & light techs were wonderful.

Jeff Telfer: Magnificent facility, outstanding acoustics.

Brenda Ealing: Excellent venue. Attended granddaughters dance recital. Excellent ability to see stage.
