Carmen Huang: We placed an order online and they called to confirm everything- which was fantastic because we selected something that we thought was chow mein but was not - and the lady on the phone kindly made sure.However, the noodles and Winter chicken were okay in my opinion. The ginger beef though was super tasty and would definitely recommend and come back for that!

We got spring rolls, chicken soo gai, beef with Chinese ginger sauce, sweet & sour chicken balls, chicken chow mein & chicken fried rice. The chow mein & spring roll were good but unremarkable tbh, everything else was FANTASTIC! Everything was fresh, the meat was tender, the flavours were great. New preferred spot for sure!

D H: Why won't you fry my dumplings? The food here is very good, though it changes quality a bit from order to order. My main complaint? Every time I order fried dumplings, my favorite dish, they come steamed. I state the menu number and ask for fried very specifically. But I get steamed.

So hospitable and accommodating. The chow mein was a revellation. It was not greasy at all! My daughter loved the wonton soup which was divine. They gave us free rice and soda too.

The food was just being packed at the time promised so it was still steaming when I got home.The food was FANTASTIC!!! Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and they were very conscious of our request regarding the peanut and tree nut allergy in our family. I've lived in Vancouver and tend to dislike most Chinese food here in wpg next to those on Pembina hwy. I'm located in East winnipeg and tried this place having a craving and let me tell you 😋. They are good! Veggies are crispy, meat is fresh and they give good portions. Extra RICE 🍚 is very appreciated 👏. If they keep this consistency there my #1 now. Ordered the black pepper beef shrimp mixed vegetable Deluxe rice the only critique on the deluxe rice is it could been a bit more spicier and I would preferred not the carrots as they were I believe previously frozen. Other than that the rice was great and every other dish was fantastic

Vivian: Highly recommend the Peking Duck, HK Milk Tea Tea, Spicy Pork Eggplant and Spicy Beef Tendon Hot Pot. Some days the food is too salty, so it is not always consistent. Service is good except from two visits, one of the servers demanded tip before we even got a chance to put tip on the table, it was quite rude.

I don’t recommend using the washroom as the stairs are steep and not terribly stable. Christian Narciso: *** MUST GO - THE ONLY PLACE IN WPG FOR BEST AUTHENTIC NORTH CHINESE SKEWERS ***I was craving Chinese meat skewers for months now & found this place via google maps searchI was little skeptical going here, saw past reviews about this restaurant being well 5 stars years ago before then saw the recent reviews that were given a one star, I wasn't sure who to trust so I went here with a Toronto foodie friend of mine & he gave it the foodie stamp approval!PROS- the only north chinese restaurant with the best beef, chicken, lamb skewers!- authentic North Chinese food, doesn't get better than this - cumin chow mein is to die for- we ordered one wrong dish due to language barrier but it still ended up being phenomenal!- food well balanced portions of spicy, flavorful & deliciousness!- vintage interior- tons of menu items to choose from!- staff is friendly, but you'll definitely need a translator to speak chinese to orderCONS- limited seating, small space inside & only has one door to the entrance from outside, you definitely will walk by it- residential or main street parking only- outdated restaurant sign so you'll definitely drive right by this placewill be coming back to try the rest of the types of skewers, hot pot, moo shu & other traditional dishes!HAD NO COMPLAINTS, MOUTH DROOLING AUTHENTIC NORTHERN CHINESE FOOD - MUST GOWheelchair accessibility: Has wooden ramp to go up into the entrance.

CSpray717: This is one of those places blending into it's environment. You probably went by it a hundred times not knowing. 5 years in this area and i now just ate here. What a fool i am. Never again will i order elsewhere. So fresh and amazingly tasty. Super friendly. P.s. you'll need a translator...that being said..you know you're getting great authentic food.

Jocelyn McFaren: We ordered again from Panda and as always, the food is amazing! The wait time from ordering was over 2 hours but worth the wait for great food. Unfortunately when we ordered the deep fried shrimp with sweet and sour sauce they forgot to send the sauce. I called and they promptly sent the driver to deliver the sweet and sour sauce as well as Chicken fried rice. The portions were larger than last time we ordered before inflation, but due to recent price increases due to economy they didn't scrimp on the portions even though the cost increased slightly!
