Connor D.: The owner may seem a little gruff/intimidating at first, but once you get talking with him you'll find he's really a great guy with a ton of comics knowledge. I've ordered in a bunch of books that were either very expensive or hard to find elsewhere, and not only did he get them all in, but also only charged me the u.s. srp, which if you don't know, is a significant discount. Purchases almost always end up being the same or cheaper than amazon or chapters prices, and you get to support a local shop owner, so other than laziness, there is no reason not to go here for any comics shopping. Keep it up James!

Eli Glenn: These owners are amazing they know their stuff they've been selling comics and memorabilia for a long time. And they make sure they have almost all the newest additions of comics graphic novels and they don't get enough support or recognition as a they should. If you are a comic book collector or a comic enthusiast from Winnipeg or visiting Winnipeg, come here you will Have a great classic comic book store experience. Galaxy comics is good but it doesn't have that classic mom and pops feel like book fair Does. you're not going to get a more authentic and professional experience then book fair will offer you.
Shelley Shelley: Clean and organized. You can't just walk into the store as they keep the door locked and you have to ring the bell and wait for them to open the door, masks are also still required.

Ian Laplante: I recently purchased a book K Applegate called Everworld, very grateful to find 1 of 12 book series there and the owners are so nice and helpful! I'm on the email list if another Everworld book in the series I don't have shows up I'm getting it. The series was the first I ever books I read 20 years ago.
nicholsanian: I like Book Fair. Prices are good, and on new stuff you get a free bag and board. The points program is nice too. The staff are top notch and stay open a little later if I can't get there by five.

Super friendly, good prices, well organized, and knowledgeable. Picked up a The Incredible Hulk 115 while there and got a bit of a discount which was appreciated. Wished I was closer than Edmonton so I could swing by more often.

Went in with my daughter and was talking to Bobby. He paused for a second and then started talking to my daughter about her collection. He hasn't seen her in over a year. Rebecca Tweed: I dont normally shop on this end of the city but found myself in the area for some other errands. Being the closest secondhand bookstore to my location I ventured there to attempt to find a specific book series from the late 90s fully expecting to need to go to multiple stores. I did not have high hopes of finding any books from the series, let alone 2 that my son does not have already.Very organized, great condition of books and prices. The person working was absolutely amazing and a wonderful help to me finding my sons birthday present and suggested some other options to make sure I was 100% happy with my purchase. Would definitely recommend and even go back if I find myself in the area again!

PictureJapan: I am reviewing the store as a seller. I messaged on Facebook and sent photos of what I had available for sale, and they messaged back promptly that they were interested. I came the next day with a bin of stuff and was asked what I wanted for it. I was offered a lot more than I asked. Props for very honest customer service as he could have also tried to talk me down further from my low offer. Very happy with my experience and will be back to make purchases in the future.

R W: Lots of books, comics, cds, dvds, vinyl some collectibles etc. If you love sorting and searching through piles of stuff this is the place for you. Some junk but lots of good stuff. Marginally organized -you will have to love treasure hunting. The guys are willing to bargain if you are reasonable. Long time owner and establishment that gives good memories of when downtown was thriving with other record shops and retail. One of the originals still somehow in business decades later.
