Wizaird: In 2021 we hired All Canadian to completely gut and renovate our main bathroom. It was taken down to studs for a toal redo. Wade amd Werner were always punctual and professionaland kept us up to date on the progress. Our bathroom was not a large project compared to some, but ACR treated it like it was. Accuracy and attention to detail. The quote was accurate with no surprises. Project was about 6 weeks not including supply chain issues with the glass tub door due to pandemic. The only things i wish is that our final images went on their site since we think it looks amazing 😁 and that some kind of follow-up was done to see how everything was going. Amazing quality workmanship. Would recommend them. Before...during...and after pics.

Some we had kind of anticipated, some were a surprise to everyone! Curtis and his team were amazing communicators every step of the way, explaining our options, their recommendations, and working with us to figure out the best solution and making sure it was one we could still afford. Even though, through no fault of theirs, the project ended up taking many weeks longer than anticipated, the team working on our basement showed up on time every single morning, always with a cheerful greeting. Miss Hobson: I inherited aproperty and needed to do renovations. As with any renovation project a lot of unexpected things came up and Dave was very good at communicating in a timely manner things that were going wrong and what needed to be done. There were a few instances where i added /requested additional tasks and Dave was very pleasant in providing me a quote. It didn't feel like I was being an inconvenience by any means. Kurt Brown: We used CDC to completely remodel our unfinished basement. Dale came out to provide an obligation free estimate and spent about 45 minutes with me discussing how he could bring my vision to reality. Other contractors were in and out in 10 minutes and didn't care to discuss my vision in such depth. I knew from this that CDC would be my choice.The project extended just a bit beyond the original time line, but Dale's attention to detail was unmatched. There were no budgetary surprises and the entire CDC crew and subcontractors were all considerate and great to work with. Lorna and Dale were prompt in their communication of project progress and updates. The renovation was done in budget and on time in spite of the work being done in the middle of a pandemic. Doug Reimer: Gateway Kitchen and Bath recently completed our home renovations. The renovations were extensive, enlarging and changing the kitchen by removing walls and a closet and completely changing the layout of the bathroom. We are still amazed by the transformation, feels like we have a new home.Our experience with Gateway was wonderful from the start. The home visit with the designer and the time spent in the showroom leading to the final plans went smooth and gave us the confidence that we went with the right company.There were no delays to start the project and the live calendar kept us up to date at all times. The designer and project manager were available for any questions and responded to emails promptly. They also updated us on a regular basis before we had a chance to reach out. Work Boot Factory Outlet Store Ltd.: Collin, Mitch and the entire team at Alair Homes Winnipeg have outdone themselves again! 18 months ago, the City of Winnipeg permits department came knocking on our business door and life changed. I went from happily running my almost 30 year old local retail store to unhappily juggling paperwork, emails and city demands which required me to work with an architect and structural engineer to come up with a plan. For the first 3 months, I was tackling this all on my own and almost lost my mind in the process. That's when I knew it was time to call Mitch and HE WAS AWESOME. I hired him to be a part of the process long before there was any physical work that could be done. He helped oversee the stream of emails and needs of all parties... The city, the architect, the structural engineer and myself to keep this process running smoothly. It took almost a year of rejections and new demands and heightened emotions from all sides. Through it all, Mitch was patient, clear and supportive. AND FINALLY OUR PLANS WERE APPROVED! Next it was time to make the structural changes needed to our very old store space in order to meet the city's code requirements. The Alair Homes Team showed up and got everything done with very little disturbance to our regular business flow. They worked with us and around us and got the job done. The inspectors came and approved everything and I am so happy to say that this is now complete and in the past.I cannot tell you how many times I was ready to quit and walk away from this unbelievably challenging situation, and yet everyone at Alair made it possible to see this project through to the end... and with some laughs along the way when I needed them most! Gisele Lapointe: Inspired Spaces did the bathroom renovations in my two-storey house built in 1986. This included the main floor powder room, the upper floor main bathroom and ensuite bathroom along with painting of the master bedroom, hallways, and installation of new flooring in all these areas.While touring the house, Greg Law made suggestions to consider. He returned with Kelly Hamm and a detailed quote to review. We looked over the quote item by item, addons or deletions were discussed, and revisions were made. To my pleasure they were willing to incorporate the design boards that had been prepared by a design consultant.Before signing the contract, Kelly returned for another walkabout with the carpenter/tradesman Gabriel. This was a crucial step in planning how to make the shower space bigger in the ensuite. It required removing the bulkhead, a section of the wall, and framing of the linen closet in the hallway as well as reframing the closet.Once the reno started it was easy for me to keep track of what was being done. If plumbing or electrical expertise was required, it was planned for and had minimal impact on the completion of the job.There were no surprises at the end of the job about the cost. The work started on the date agreed upon and was completed within the anticipated time frame. Gabriel and Veronica are meticulous, conscientious, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Veronica is also an expert painter. It was a pleasure to work with Kelly, Gabriel, and Veronica. Annette Greene: We were assured by Dustin that the K+ team would make the process as smooth and perfect as can be, and that they wouldn’t consider the job complete until we were absolutely satisfied. Dustin kept his word on that lofty promise so far. While we had several unfortunate setbacks and installation errors and complications, Dustin took care of the corrections and repairs swiftly. Even when we had to get someone in to fix a plumbing mix-up, he covered all our costs. We also experienced a setback with our ceiling pot lights, and we are in the process of having them reinstalled along with any ceiling drywall repairs as a result. Dustin is arranging for his electrician and drywall team to do the job at no extra cost at all. *I’ll report back on this review when that job is complete.* We love our kitchen so much, and anyone who sees it marvels at the incredible design, attention to detail, and beautiful products. We’re still in awe each time we enter our kitchen!

amanda linden: I hired Commonwealth Renovations to update the 1953 bungalow I purchased in 2021. They did it all including: refinishing original hardwood, installing engineered hardwood, interior and exterior paint, egress window installation, full kitchen renovation, full bathroom renovation, full basement renovation, fireplace mantle install, and an absolutely wonderful front deck. They are returning this summer to install a back entrance in the spare room that will walk out onto a back deck. Rashard and his team are extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and efficient.

Iain MacAodh: Like five years ago I snagged a rad kitchen faucet from the ensuite. Yeah I paid double what a basic one across the street woulda cost but it is the best tap I've ever used. This sweet little piece of pipe magic has pretty much replaced my dishwasher. So I was pretty bummed when the sprayer hose sprung a leak. I uninstalled it and brought it to the counter at emco and the dude gave me the part and straight up showed me how to fix it. these homies will hook you up and take care of you.
David Brown: great place had a rookie so was a little slow he will learn .We all have to start somewhere. Get rid of the locked door and mask mandate.

Sara Stouffer: We had a great experience with Valdek during our basement and main floor kitchen/wall removal reno . From the planning stages in winter/spring 2023 through the actual construction in summer 2023, Matt, Crystal and Nathan were wonderful to work with, always personable and professional. Communication was excellent throughout. The team that did the Reno work, primarily Triston and Laura, were great. They worked hard each day meticulously, cleaned up after themselves and were so respectful and pleasant to have around, especially in a home with younger kids and a dog. We are really happy with the work that was done, it looks fantastic, and if we ever need anything else done, we know who to call. Would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend to our family or friends. Thanks for everything Valdek team!!!

They will return once more ar a date specified to check again.
