gesung Chen: All Saints' Anglican Church is the oldest church in Winnipeg. It was built in 1883 and is also the oldest building in Winnipeg.
Lorraine Thistlethwaite: I am getting back to attending church and worshipping this last year. The people here are warm and welcoming and genuinely seem to want to share their relationship with Jesus Christ by reaching out and serving those around them. I love singing and praising God with hymns set to beautiful music with so much history behind them.

Daniel Roscoe: Went as a group of Art History students checking out famous Winnipeg sites. This is a very modern church with lots of ties back to more traditional structures. The history is very interesting and the architecture is well done with neat ties to the community. The stained glass is beautiful and well installed. When the sun shines in the interior looks like you are inside a rainbow.

Daniel Roscoe: They have a nice room with niches for family remains. We were adding my mother in law's ashes to the casket with her husband's ashes. Full covid protection for us still upright, proof of vaccine and full masking since they care about the quick and the dead.

Michael Minor: Hard to find community these days but Holy Trinity has been very welcoming and unpretentious. Great music by a committed group of professionals, lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and truly hospitable services. Doors are open to each and everyone.

Linda Sharpe: It is a wonderful place to live with a fantastic inner communty very friendly. The St Matthews Anglican church, the West End Commons, there is a drop in centre and more for events. This building has history and will continue.

The original church was consecrated in 1855, in the middle of the cemetery that now looks across at Polo Park. Before that, the site had been used as a refuge for victims of the flood of 1850. The Parish of St. James gave its name to the growing village, and our life has been bound up with our local community ever since.

Jos Gatien: Pretty much everything I hoped it would be. Strikingly beautiful and and peaceful. The service was really nice and there were folks who were very welcoming. There was coffee and dainties served afterwards and a couple of folks sat down with me and made me feel extremely welcome for a first time visitor. I will definitely be returning.
Derrick H: One side of my family tree started in Canada with HBC very close to this place.My fourth great grandfather, James Curtis Bird rests here in between his last son's wives.Wallace the caretaker does a good job of looking after everyone.

Helen ICE: I was stunned when I entered this beautiful Cathedral and felt like I was in somewhere in Europe. I never knew there was such an artistic and historical building in Winnipeg. I had an opportunity to talk with Priest Paul who was very friendly and warm. Priest Paul even helped me pulling my car out of deep snow there. I will visit there again for sure!
