R Antonio Urquiza A: From the moment the experience arrives, it is very nice, the staff offered us options for us to sit down, then the waiter was very friendly and made different recommendations on food and drinks.In the end, we let ourselves be convinced by one of the photos on the menu and the description of another dish, at first, the flavors seem a bit strong, the spices stand out, but as the palate gets used to the combinations of flavors or sensational, definitely , this place has become one of our other new favorites and we will be going back soon, we need to keep learning about the menu

Cory Schleicher: Came here for my wife's 40th birthday they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. Yes, it was a bit pricey, but you have to pay if you want some good eating. The hostess was very friendly and very quick at finding us a table. Waitress was very quick at bringing out the starters and always on top of getting refills out to us in a timely manner.

They slammed it out of the park! The entire menu is a win and I take all my clients here for a flashback to the old days.

Josh “Jrock”: I ordered the Fat Boy Burger and it actually had some spice to it. Not too much. Just the right amount. The bun was a little tough at the edges. A few more vegetables would balance the flavor. With that said for the price I paid, the burger was better than I expected.More than reasonable cost, filling, and decent taste. Recommended for sure.

Kris: Convenient and meets the bar. I had the avo toast and it was good. The ingredients tasted and appeared to be of good quality. Good sourdough bread and ripe avocado. The service was also very good and attentive. The menu isn’t very big but good variety overall. They gave me a coffee to go at no charge which is nice!

Cmd Pjd: We have been to Cork and Flame a couple of times over the last few years. Went this past Friday after work. They had live music on the patio. The service was very good, even though we were only having drinks, the food going by us was incredible.We will definitely be back!
Brendon Beich: Me and my dad have been to Winnipeg many times and have eaten at different places but never at Cork & Flame but today we decided to try it and it was amazing, every aspect of it from the food to the service. Our waitress was a lady named Stacey F. and again I can’t say enough good things about her because she was great, very friendly and charming and had a great attitude with a smile on her face at all times. As far as food goes I had the fettuccine Alfredo with the chicken on a skewer and it was so good very filling and my dad had the prime rib short ribs and he said they where quite good. We will be back for sure.
Julie Vincent: This place was amazing!!!! I’m not the easiest girl to please when it comes to going out to eat. I love to cook myself and I love healthy foods. My partner and I rented and air bnb about a 25 min walk away and there were other restaurants along the way but I had done some research prior to leaving and this place really caught my eye. The service was amazing so was the atmosphere and the food WOW just WOW. We will be back that’s for sure.
Karol Ralcewicz: Went there for lunch after a quick 9 holes of golf. Dined on the patio which is a wonderful place to have lunch. I had the clubhouse sandwich which was brilliant and my friends bought the calamari dish which they thought was one of the best in the city. If you're on the patio you must order the 32 oz of Long Island Iced Tea. Great way to spend the rest of the afternoon.

Hy's was, in fact, established in Winnipeg for decades, but I never knew it. The atmosphere and setting were so magnificent and classy. The service was very impressive, and the food was also good. The desert was prepared in front of my table with wine and hot flame. An unforgettable dinner.

Their food embodies how all diner food should be: it's obvious how much care and effort goes into making these delicious meals. The seating area left a lot to be desired since it was only a handful of tables, booths, and counter seating. My husband needed to borrow a chair to sit comfortably, but the server was definitely friendly and helpful with us throughout the experience. The parking is just ok, but I can definitely see how people can get frustrated trying to find a parking spot nearby.They have amazing shakes, and their poutine definitely lives up to the high ratings we had heard about! Definitely worth a stop!
