Free spaces for artists! The goal of Art Common is to provide Winnipeg's artistic community with spaces free from financial barrier for creation/rehearsal and meetings. From September to May, our Gendis Studio is available at different times for free booking during the hours of 10-6, Monday to Friday.

KCB: The performance of " A Pickle " is something very special. Debbie Maslowsky is so superb. A pickle controversy seems very insignificant but it is a stunning story about how discrimination can quietly creep into our lives. Doris Rubenstein - the actual pickle lady -- was there -- she drove up from Minnesota!!! This was a very rare and special production. My congratulations to the WJT creative producers for envisioning this production and bringing it to fruition. A very subtle masterpiece.

Our faculty of working professionals has established our reputation as the go-to centre in Manitoba for training in the practical aspects of making both theatre and film. Our graduates are resourceful, knowledgeable, and daring and are able to work comfortably in a wide range of professions. You only need to look at the program or credits for a play or film/tv project happening in Manitoba to see a long list of our graduates - proof positive that Theatre and Film at UofW will see to it that you are prepared.
We offer a 3-Year General BA in all streams, a 4-Year Honours BA in most streams, and a Minor. Janelle Forrester: I used to attend MTYP a few years ago before I aged out and I could not recommend the musical theatre company enough. If you or your child so much as likes musical theatre, age 13 and up should audition! I have made lifelong friends and have developed such a love for the performing arts. I went to see this year's production of Urinetown and it was such a fun musical. The students learn so much and grow as people and performers; worth every penny!!

The quality of singing was absolutely incredible backed with the live orchestra in the pit makes it even more breathtaking. The sets are top notch too. Clearly a lot of effort is put in to make the show a wonderful experience.
Angela Spencer: Love going to Rainbow Stage every year! The performances are always world class quality and the amount of talent on that stage is astounding! The parking lot is easily accessible for patrons with tons of space, however the organization to get cars out after the show needs improvement, hence the 4 stars.
