Matto: what do users think?

Joshua Youngs (joshua youngs): Absolutely the best restaurant my group has experienced in Quebec City. We are visiting from the US and Francois and John went above and beyond for our group and made us feel like we were all the greatest of friends before this occasion! Thank you again for the absolute stellar experience. We will definitely be coming back. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone who plans on visiting Quebec City.

Mario Bernier: Seriously, it's the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten in my life. I tasted the parmesan fondue, the mussels, the squid because I tasted all these starters and the mushroom papardelle was really incredible. Just wow! Do you want some mushrooms, here are some mushrooms. Well done, thank you and I was leaving Mascouche and it’s clear that I’m going to go back there. Bye thank you

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian selection is very varied and for high-end restaurants that seems to be rare. Thumbs up to the chef for this.

Renee Elsie Lendic: and purchased a bottle of wine to match all of the dishes. The staff were all very professional and had no issues conversing with us in English. Our only comment on the evening was that we wished there was a cheese course but that’s a minor thing and I would recommend this place to visitors and locals.Vegetarian options: A vegetarian menu is availableParking: We chose to get to the venue with an Uber, there is street parking around but would be difficult in the summer months I’m sure.

Cam Sarchi: My family tried this restaurant having never heard of it before. I tried the chef's course since I had always wanted to try a pre-planned menu and they altered all the appropriate dishes to match my dietary needs without changing the course too much. Our staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgable. The venue was small/intimate and very comfortable! The food was excellently made and we enjoyed all of it!Dietary restrictions: As someone with severe nut and shellfish allergies, it's not always very easy for restaurants to make accommodations. They not only made sure everything was safe, but they found substitutions for every dish that I could not eat so that I could get the absolute full experience. They not only explained that the food was safe, but described how they had altered it to make it safe for me

Bistro St-Malo: what do users think?

Peggy Woolley: We ate at Bistro St.- Malo our first night in Quebec City. The food and drink were excellent. But the best part was the way Camille welcomed us. She was a most congenial and effective host. We returned on our last night for the upside down apple pie. Again the service was very warm. Zach made sure we were happy with our food and our whole experience. The dessert lived up to our expectations. We appreciated the genuinely friendly faces there and enjoyed learning the history of the restaurant.

Dr. Tina-Lise Curtis: Plenty to share.Only complaint was the Canadian Club Whiskey was $22 and the pour was tiny.Loved this bistro. Make sure to get a reservation-many were turned away at the door.

Luc Samson: The sea stew was delectable. The bisque in the stew was flavorful, seasoned perfectly.Beautiful atmosphere and great service!

Restaurant Tanière³: what do users think?

Thomas Shin: Quite possibly the best dining experience I've ever had. I have done Michelin starred tasting menus at a couple places around the world and this is at the top.I won't post pictures of food since I think they like to keep that a surprise, but I'll post pictures of the interior which were wholly unique and immersive. The staff were very accommodating to my allergies and my wife's pregnancy. They ran down the list of what would be okay for my pregnant wife and what would not. That was very much appreciated.Of course the food was delicious and so creative but I won't say too much so as not to ruin anything. If I am ever in Quebec City again, I will definitely stop by again.

Guillaume Dorion: Paul enjoyed his best restaurant experience. The professionalism of all the staff is breathtaking. The dishes are all very tasty and their presentation is an integral part of the experience. The choice of cutlery highlights all the sublime aromas of the Quebec territory. This culinary experience will engage all your senses. The decor of the restaurant is breathtaking. The decoration of the vaults immerses us in history while creating a feeling of intimacy. Wine and cocktail pairings enhance the flavor of dishes. The experience is finely prepared and allows us to abandon ourselves to all these senses

Mister Guigz: Restaurant La Tanière in Quebec City offers an exceptional gastronomic experience in an enchanting setting. Its warm and authentic atmosphere, combined with elegant rustic decoration, creates an incomparable immersion from the moment you enter. The service stands out for its professionalism and attention to detail, offering you a personalized experience. The creative and refined cuisine highlights local and seasonal ingredients, capturing the flavors of the Quebec region. Although the cost may seem high at first glance, the overall experience more than justifies the investment, making La Tanière an essential destination for lovers of haute cuisine and memorable culinary memories.Vegetarian options: The experience can be enjoyed by vegetarians without problem.Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions taken seriously.Parking: There is no parking on site. I recommend the Canotiers parking lot or a Taxi.

Vicky Dextraze: The most memorable restaurant and dining experience of my life! It's actually more than a restaurant or even a simple culinary experience, it's a show, pure art! 😅 The chef's experience is definitely worth it, with the wine pairing. Allow at least 3 to 4 hours, but I loved all the moments, the surprises, the dishes, the different rooms, their history, their decoration and even more the fact of being served local products from our area! Thank you to all of you! 😇

Léonie Bernard-Abel: Yesterday was our 4th visit to the Lair and it still felt like the very first time. This place is magical, the service impeccable and attentive, the flavors are full of finesse, the dishes are sophisticated, magnificent and bring back vague happy memories. Truly, it’s our favorite restaurant in the world. Nothing compares to it and it’s an experience you never forget. This is definitely a must try in a lifetime! Thanks again to the whole team for making us experience this, time after time.

Don Vegan Restaurant: what do users think?

Billion Dolla Babi: but literally EVERYTHING else was extremely delicious, satisfying, and well presented. The burrito bowl and Tostada Don have to be my favorites because of the BBQ Jackfruit which was chef’s kiss! I love that the burrito bowl is so filling! I almost couldn’t finish it but it tastes so good that I couldn’t not finish it! Another top dish was the creamy gnocchi, yum! The staff was just lovely, very pleasant and helpful. I can’t wait to go back! I’m craving it now while typing this! This is the only place I ate at my entire visit! I would eat here everyday if I could!

Fatima ezzahrae Saad: Very beautiful setting with exceptional foodI highly recommend

Mathilde Champeau: I recommend Le Don a thousand times. This is the second time I have come in a short time and my satisfaction during my first visit was not due to chance. The menu is varied, the plates are colorful, everything is extremely well seasoned and the combinations are sometimes unusual but successful. Here we eat real cuisine, which is vegan, and it’s not just a salad. Everything is meticulously prepared and the taste pleasure is incredible!Rather classic in my choice the first time, this time I dared to order the jackfruit bowl, a fruit which is completely unknown to me. It was a treat! I won't say more except that you have to let yourself be tempted by the experience!! And the cashew beet raspberry cheesecake was delicious too! Many non-vegan restaurants can't hold a candle to Don, so bravo!! You risk converting more than one!

L'Osti D'Végan: Delicious, generous and pleasant. Compare the cheap Earlgray 4oclock instead of organic and fair trade Camellia sinensis, it's disappointing. The service was very good. See you next time !Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan!

Jasen Chabot Maheux: I'm not vegetarian, but I really like going to brunch at Don. The food and atmosphere is friendly. Lots of good things to discover. The only problem is the coffee. Every time it's a disappointment. :/

Jenny P: . Go ahead, taste all the dishes and try this restaurant every season to see their menu renewal, your taste buds will thank you.Vegetarian options: The restaurant is entirely vegan.

Nicolas: Excellent restaurant with sophisticated vegan cuisine!Vegetarian options: A large choice between tofu, tempeh, Asian dishes…

Bistro Le Sam: what do users think?

Andrés Duarte: The Sam Bistro is an amazing experience once you enjoy their menu and drinks. The view is beautiful and the service is excellent. Laurie the hostess saved our night because there was an error with our reservarion, and David provided the right recommendations for food.I would highly recommend this place, as you get to enjoy a nice dinner at the Chateau Frontenac with an amazing view.

Blair Willow: Beautiful experience overall, ask to be seated in the alcove, that's where the million dollar view is!Parking: Ask your server to validate your parking before leaving.

Jeff Stallwood: Well deserved stop to have a nice meal on my way out East for a couple weeks

Talel M.: Visiting Le Sam Bistrot Évolution at the Château Frontenac was an unforgettable experience. The food was exceptional, offering a delightful array of flavors that spoke of high-quality ingredients and culinary expertise. What truly set this dining experience apart was the breathtaking view. Overlooking the scenic vistas, the restaurant provided a mesmerizing backdrop that enhanced every moment of our meal. Additionally, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. I highly recommend Bistrot Sam for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in a stunning location.

Champlain: what do users think?

Stephanie John: Came here for our 5th anniversary. We got the expanded tasting menu that had a mix of seafood, berries, meat, and of course maple syrup. We got to try interesting wines alongside the dishes.Staff was very friendly and understanding of my broken French. We had a lovely view of the St. Lawrence River. Great ambience. If only we had rooms at the Frontenac where the restaurant is located so we could just walk up after. Not sure if valet parking is mandatory but that was our only option. It is an expensive experience so highly recommend going here for a special occasion.

A: Fantastic! We have been there twice since the arrival of the new chef, with the experience of the Discovery Menu and the food and wine pairing. Dishes that change regularly depending on the seasons. The best part: the eight-course vegetarian menu. As a vegetarian, I was delighted to find a tailor-made tasting menu experience, which is still quite rare in this type of gastronomy. There is also a children's menu, which is a very good way to introduce new dishes to young ones. It's easy to access for the taste buds, while offering unusual and delicate dishes. Very good idea!In the past, we have also gone to Champlain for the impressive Easter brunch, which is definitely worth the detour.Vegetarian options: Le Champlain offers a 100% vegetarian menu. Everything was very good and well presented.Kid-friendliness: There is a menu specially designed for children, with Quebec and local ingredients. It was really a good discovery, we are far from the pasta and croquettes of the usual children's menus!

Chez Muffy: what do users think?

Chad Lapointe: Me and my girlfriend had an extraordinary experience last night. We took the culinary tasting which makes up a 5 course with the Pigeon as the main meal. I didn't think I'd say this one day but I loved the pigeon. Without a doubt the starter which was also exceptional, duck foie gras and snow lobster. Both starters with side dishes that make it completely unforgettable to taste. And then dessert, funny way of saying that but it was the icing on the Sunday. With olive oil ice cream and meringue. Finally, we ate THE BEST MEAL OF OUR LIFE! And the service was simply perfect 👌

Mister Guigz: Very nice experience at Restaurant Chez Muffy at Auberge Saint-Antoine. The restaurant is beautiful and charming. The plates are very well presented, the service is top notch and the Chef even came to see us during the service. The Maître d'hôtel suggested some very good wines that went very well with the dishes we had. If you're looking for a fine local Quebec cuisine restaurant, you won't go wrong Chez Muffy! I highly recommend !Vegetarian options: Vegetarians welcomeDietary restrictions: The menu is modified if you have dietary restrictionsParking: Valet parking on site or nearby parking for a fee.

Danielle O: can be a little crowded and the service suffers a bit.The hotel breakfast

Dr. Zakaria H. Helles: Very nice 👍

LE CONTINENTAL - Cuisine Francaise - Fruits de Mer / Homard / Steak - Flambé: what do users think?

Linda Goff: This elegant restaurant has white linen tablecloths, waiters in tuxedo and tableside meat preparation for a stunning show. The food was beyond delicious. I had the sea scallops and they were tender, juicy and melt in your mouth good. Will definitely return!!Parking: Best to walk

Rachel Shiells: The best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service was incredible, including the table side service. We didn’t go more than 1 minute without fresh bread, water, or a drink refill. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and recommended great options. The lychee martini was amazing. Highly recommend the filet mignot and the orange duck. The seared foie Gras was also amazing. The tableside caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had! The sugar pie tasted authentic and was the perfect serving for 2. By far our favourite restaurant in Quebec City and we will definitely be back!

Rosangela Mastronardi: We too were encouraged to book by the excellent reviews.Impeccable service and food.Very attentive staff with right service times.Excellent value for money. The flambé dishes prepared in front of the customer are suggestive.I highly recommend a visit.

Jim Wyatt: 2024-04-18 We had ceasar salad, Chateaubriand for two and crepes suzette, all prepared at table side. Our server/chef/wine steward was a wonderful gentleman that provided excellent service in a relaxed, professional manner that added to this fine evening. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated to the fine dining experience we were hoping for. Although pricey, as we expected, it was worth every penny.

AUX ANCIENS CANADIENS - Cuisine Québécois / Steak / Fruit de Mer - Bar a Vin / Cocktails: what do users think?

Spenser Guerin: , grandma's treat

Kitty Rogers: Recommended dishes Pea Soup of the Day, Pie

vitalasbo: Authentic Quebecois restaurant with traditional food and atmosphere. You cannot skip it of you are in the old town, and the prices do not look like a rip off.Definitely recommend the smoked bison fondue Parmesan.Stellar service by Nicolas!

eric thibaut: A delight for the taste buds and very heartyI recommend.

Rachel Shiells: Awesome authentic French food!!! The $39.95 deal includes a glass of wine/beer, an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Very affordable for a lot of food. The meat pie and beef bourguignon were excellent. The escargot and pea soup were also exceptional. The crème brûlée and blueberry pie were delicious and quite large portions. We recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic French food for a great price.

Geoffrey Zachariah: The restaurant is only over 60 years old but in a building that is over 300 years old. The atmosphere is so warm and comfy with the service being exceptional. If you are a tourist in Quebec and want to try some of the local dishes, this is a place I recommend without breaking the bank and being authentic and flavourful at the same time. My kids enjoyed the meals by the fireplace and will always be a great memory for us visiting Quebec.

Laurie Raphaël, Quebec City: what do users think?

Isabelle Breton: What a breathtaking culinary experience! As soon as we entered, we were surprised and delighted by the originality of the welcome. The exit is not left out.We recommend this unique adventure of which we have unforgettable memories. We thank you for the attention given to us.

Suzanne Reid: Fabulous evening at Laurie Raphaël for our son's 24th birthday! The food was sensational from start to finish with each service an explosion of incredible flavours. The service was absolutely impeccable from the minute we arrived and we especially enjoyed the entertaining and nuanced descriptions of each wine pairing by the sommelier. Be prepared for a sizeable bill at the end of the night but rest assured that you will come away from your evening having had a once in a lifetime gastronomic experience that you will never forget!

André Morin: Very good food. Impeccable services. However, the tasting menu portions are too small. For the total price of the experience, this is what we remember: the smallness of the portions.

Andréanne Laliberté-Rhéaume: Unforgettable culinary experienceTHANKS

jean pjags: . Pour tous les autres items, c’est ok que cela soit petits mais savoureux. Egalement le capuccino est tres moyen

denis pelletier: Refinement and delectable meal.Food and wine pairing. Well done.
