Djeepe Micahud: The meat was overcooked on one side which dried out and toughened the meat, very disappointing for a steakhouse. The fries were dry, they looked like they were frozen. The tartare on the other hand was good.Good wine suggestion by our waitress.

Since my partner works with meat, we always pay attention to the quality of the meat, and we were delighted to see that it was really excellent. We were also impressed by the wide choice of meats from different locations.Personally, I opted for the duck confit pasta, and what a delight! A real feast for the taste buds!In addition, the atmosphere in the building is very pleasant, calm, with a magnificent view of the Porte Saint-Jean. The building itself has a chic and elegant atmosphere. Additionally, we appreciated that there was little waiting, which added to our positive experience. Linda Goff: This elegant restaurant has white linen tablecloths, waiters in tuxedo and tableside meat preparation for a stunning show. The food was beyond delicious. I had the sea scallops and they were tender, juicy and melt in your mouth good. Will definitely return!!Parking: Best to walk
Rachel Shiells: The best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service was incredible, including the table side service. We didn’t go more than 1 minute without fresh bread, water, or a drink refill. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and recommended great options. The lychee martini was amazing. Highly recommend the filet mignot and the orange duck. The seared foie Gras was also amazing. The tableside caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had! The sugar pie tasted authentic and was the perfect serving for 2. By far our favourite restaurant in Quebec City and we will definitely be back!

Our server/chef/wine steward was a wonderful gentleman that provided excellent service in a relaxed, professional manner that added to this fine evening. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated to the fine dining experience we were hoping for. Although pricey, as we expected, it was worth every penny.

Rachel Shiells: Awesome authentic French food!!! The $39.95 deal includes a glass of wine/beer, an appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Very affordable for a lot of food. The meat pie and beef bourguignon were excellent. The escargot and pea soup were also exceptional. The crème brûlée and blueberry pie were delicious and quite large portions. We recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic French food for a great price.
Geoffrey Zachariah: The restaurant is only over 60 years old but in a building that is over 300 years old. The atmosphere is so warm and comfy with the service being exceptional. If you are a tourist in Quebec and want to try some of the local dishes, this is a place I recommend without breaking the bank and being authentic and flavourful at the same time. My kids enjoyed the meals by the fireplace and will always be a great memory for us visiting Quebec.
