Parc de l'UNESCO: what do users think?

Duc C. Nguyên: This collective mural is the fruit of artist Sarah Thibault’s cultural mediation workshop with high school students in Quebec City’s Vanier neighborhood. A monumental plinth has been adorned with domestic moldings and ornamental bas-reliefs that participating students made from impressions taken in their own homes. Arranged in symmetrical patterns and gilded, students’ highly personal fragments become elegant, precious motifs.Heritage note: The architectural moldings, bas-relief ornaments, and gilding in the collective work echo the neoclassical decorative elements of the local church, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires. Eighteenth-century art production in New France focused on creating sculptural ornamentation, and later on gilding, for places of worship.

Anoif Weil: We drove all the way here from Montmorency Waterfall, nothing special really

Sy Pham: Just snow everywhereWaiting for the winter season.

François Bilodeau: Beautiful

Susanna Puiol: It's very pretty. It is very well maintained and there are plenty of seats and shaded spaces.

Leonard Kasmet: At least in February, it was a flag on a wall and a large snow pile in front! But I was still happy to see this as seeing UNESCO sites are a big deal.

Alexandre “Alex” Poudrier: Very good

Charles Berson: UNESCO Park,Pretty square in the city center.A shadowy corner during the visit to Quebec.Good walk

DevRevoltium: Tg

Pierre Yves Laroche: Birds are cute

Sae: Beautiful cobblestone streets and adorable shops. The people are friendly and you'll feel like you're in Europe.

Paul Perrin: This is a beautiful corner of Québec City that is highly reminiscent of its European origins.

Camila Tomaz: Must visit

Montmorency Falls: what do users think?

andrea rebecca: I was in April, the day was gloomy but I was able to enjoy a breathtaking view under the waterfall. There is a cable car that takes you above the waterfall where you can cross it with a Tibetan bridge to create a few chills on the skin for the more adventurous. I definitely recommend doing a complete tour even for the walking route. It has a small train to take the panoramic tour.

Churene World: The staff at the top is a pleasure! The falls seen from below are not as impressive as I would have thought, even if it was very beautiful to see!I think that the more sporty or those who have the courage to climb will be more impressed!

Bruce Wharrie: Excellent classic cross country ski trail along river. Very well groomed classic tracks only. About $11 each. Good covered and warm facility with clean toilets, cafe and table seating. But avoid the 9am - noon Thursday morning schools crowd that take ovee the place.

jerome vignaud: Wow, the great outdoors, nature, its silence you can almost hear the salmon jumping in the water 😊🤩

PAUL NAOUM: Great place for winter activities. they did a great job at the park

Mr. Renauld: Very nice place to skate with the family.

Sebastien Guay: Vrm well done for the creation of all the attractions of the Grand Hérons park, a perfect place for everyone and above all to practice various sports....the people are nice and polite there....have fun and enjoy it.Pleasure is important...

Linda Pelletier: Always full of activities

Véronique Fortin: Super nice place, but we cannot walk the dogs on the cycle and/or walking path. The outing is therefore limited, but very beautiful place. I had to stay in the off-trail area.

v 007: It's a historic fort where war between French and British

Ron Elder: Well worth a visit. Easy to access on foot, with great views over the city, river, and surrounding countryside. However, it’s still a working military site, so access to some areas is restricted. The information boards around the site are well done, and were certainly an education for me - e.g. I never knew that thousands of German soldiers fought with the British against the American invaders back in the day!

emilie durand: Very beautiful place steeped in history, don't miss the guided tour!!
