Un thé au Sahara: what do users think?

Karen Jantzi: Small, not on the main street restaurant. Since they have only 1 cook and 1 waitress, it can take a while to get your food. The food was delicious, fresh made hummus, chicken prune tagine and morroccan soup. My husband and I split the meal; the staff was fine with it. The proces were very reasonable. Several menu items were not available but, in my opinion, that's to be expected in a small restaurant on Christmas eve. The waitress didn't speak English so she had the chef come out to answer our questions. They were both friendly and helpful. Overall, a much better dinner choice than the trendy pub we ate at last night.

Nicolas Lebel: Warm experience, more than reasonable price, we were a group, everyone enjoyed their dishes, mine was very good. Be careful, it's not a luxury restaurant, so the negative comments are surprising. For me the experience was more than honest, the dishes are $17, it's the price of a McDonald's trio... and it's a restaurant in old Quebec. If you want big luxury, go ahead. I give 5 stars, thank you to the family who runs this restaurant, I think you deserve better comments, that's why I took the time to make one.

Dustin Layman: Owners were extremely nice and welcoming. I had kafta and mint tea and both were exceptionally delicious!

Road Warrior: The food is authentic tasting. I am not an expert with Moroccan food, but have experience eating Middleeastern foods, and the food tasted true to what food from northern Africa should taste like. I say this because in Quebec Province, including Montreal, cuisines and recipes are modified according to local practices that do not represent the flavors of the foods and cuisines as what they should be. I had the Harira, Lamb and Prune Tajine and Baklava and they were all delightful. The atmosphere is very nice and quaint. The service was prompt and pleasant, and the prices were not over the top. I will be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Robin Solbach: Delicious food served by attentive staff. I has the Moroccan soup appetizer which was a flavorful mix of all kinds of spices and fresh herbs and chickpeas in a tomato base. The main dish was chicken and prune tagine. It was so amazing, tender chicken that was both sweet and savory with the prunes adding just the right flavor. I have never had anything like it and I am now obsessed!!!! Go ahead and try it before it gets overrun with tourists!!!

Michele JCK: and the decoration of the restaurant is very refined, while recalling the beautiful Morocco 🇲🇦. Our servers were very cheerful and the service was quick, we didn't have to wait long once the orders were placed to receive our dishes. I will definitely go back 💯 A little restaurant that deserves to be discovered!!
