4worldlovers: YOUCAN Youth Services Relentless Outreach Workers stop at nothing — within reasonable measures — to reach out to youth and empower them in making positive, healthy and life changing decisions.


The Verto Project (Verto is Latin for “turn-around” or “change”) is a unique, 21-week pre-employment program that assists youth between the ages of 18-24 transition out of harm’s way and back into school or into the workforce. The programming portion will run over 9 consecutive weeks and successful candidates will earn a living allowance of $15/hr.


The Road to Work Program is a collaboration between YOUCAN Youth Services and companies in the construction, road building, and traffic safety industries. The program will deliver employability workshops and industry focused safety trainings to successful candidates, aged 18-26 years old. This is a paid program with successful candidates earning a $15/hr wage. This program will give participants the tools needed to enter the construction, road building, and traffic safety industries.


At YOUCAN Youth Services we are RELENTLESS in all aspects of our work. We are RELENTLESS with our youth and for our youth. If we can't find them, we will track them down. If they need help in the community, we will advocate for them. We are determined to support our youth, until they are determined to support themselves.

Help prevent high-risk youth from coming into conflict with the law, improve their outcomes, and reduce re-offending.

Oversee health screening and intervention programs that support early child development.

Supply interpreter and intervenor services for adults who are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or deafblind.

Collaborate with Indigenous communities on healing, health and wellness programs and services for Indigenous people.
